WOW! This bag makes me smile! Great color (and when you open it, there is another happy color!, great organization, wears nicely. I love, love, love this bag! I work in special education in a high school setting, so I move from class to class all day. This bag is perfect for keeping me organized! (I'm now hoping Patagonia makes purses because I want a purse that makes me smile this much, too!)

Great for travel or commuting. Kept me well-organized while traveling. It fits nicely under plane seats and still leaves room for your feet. Within just the main compartment it will hold all of the following easily and without hassle to remove: 13" Mac Air laptop (not Pro), a medium sized-planner, a paperback book, a small toiletry bag, keys, a few food bars, pens and a couple of magazines. The side water-bottle holder is very secure. The top flap zipper compartment can hold a phone, travel kleenex and whatever other small papers or lip balm sized item you may need to store. The backside open compartment is easy access with a tab of strong velcro for safekeeping. Easy to get laptop out for airport security.

Only one complaint on this bag. For some reason it tends to cave in, best way to describe it, when picked up by grab handle. At first I was annoyed and thought of returning but I like it so much I decided to keep it. If you put something inside back flap that will not happen. But you also have to put something that's not too tall as not to pop the too small velcro closure. I now just push it forward, straighten it and go. I actually feel the more I use it, the less it does it. All this being said, it's a great bag! Lightweight, spacious, lots of pockets and looks very cool. One other thing worth mentioning: The straps look gray. But they're really more on the greenish side? I actually hesitated purchasing because I wasn't sure I liked the gray. I love the color of the straps against the black. I carry wallet, iPad, journal, maxpedition 5x7 hook and loop zippered pouch with edc essentials, keys, small umbrella inside, pens, etc. So far, loving this bag. Highly recommend it.

Bought this bag for my new job in health care and its been awesome so far! My only gripe with the bag is the computer sleeve can barely fit my 13" MacBook Pro (non-retina). I imagine a macbook air or rMBP would fit pretty well. The bag is very light, comfortable to wear while walking and there are plenty of storage compartments to hold anything I may need. I would definitely purchase it again!

The size is adequate for an extra shirt or jacket, camera, umbrella, water bottle, and more. It is slim (not bulky), so it would not bump into things. The bag is very light and sturdy. It looks good on a man or a woman. You could carry it all day without getting tired, so it is good as a travel day bag.

I looked at several commuter bags and this was by far the best. I take my iPad and wireless keyboard and several folders to work everyday. It is a great durable bag that I am sure I will have for a long time. I was worried as a man the bag size was going to look more like a purse than a man's bag but it it's the perfect commuter bag. The half mass is much larger for a work bag but still great quality. I highly recommend this bag!

Best bag ever. The only bad thing is I can't ever change bags because this one has me spoiled with all of the perfect pockets and organization perks!

I just received the Minimass. At first, I thought I had purchased another purse looking man bag thing. However, upon further inspection and about 10 minutes of standing in front of the mirror, it works. Well made and much more lightweight than my mountainsmith breifcase...rotator cuff problems...had to lighten the load to and from work...this bag is it...just enough room for some lunch, notepad, planner, water bottle holder, with room for a few more items.

Love! I had ordered the same bag but a size up and that had turned out to be a tad too big for me. This size fits my 13 inch Macbook Air, a sweater and water bottle, as well as a couple small items like keys and phone. The wide strap makes it very comfortable to carry. The color is great (tan exterior, purple trim around zipper, gray interior).

I've had my sturdy, old MiniMass for years and years and years. I use it every day and I live a pretty active, on-the-go lifestyle, and the MiniMass has held up extremely well. If it ever gets dirty, just plop it in the washer machine on gentle and let it go. Hang to dry and it's like it's brand spankin' new! I would buy this a million times over. Love!

I have a Dell Latitude E7440 which is nominally a 14 inch laptop but fits well in this bag. The bag is small but with plenty of room for all my needs and more. Very satisfied with this product. Very well made. Much easier to carry than a larger laptop bag.

This bag is great. Large enough to hold office supplies, notepad, water bottle, phone/s and more. Strap is not padded but is wide, comfortable and adjustable. Great for work or play.

This bag is the perfect size for carrying my Mac Book Pro and a few other items. Also the strap is adjustable to super long for us taller folks! Very durable too, well made!

This bag is perfect! It has a ton of pockets. I use it for school as well as to carry around my dog grooming tools and it works perfectly. I couldn't have been happier with this choice, the bag holds more then you'd think.

Best bag I've ever bought. Just the right size for a messenger bag without it being too big or too small. As a nurse, I carry a lot of stuff and just like to have things in their place. This fits the bill, and it comes in gorgeous colors!

Nice little bag to carry your things. Has a lot of pockets and can hold more than it looks. Durable construction and high quality materials. I found that it insulates beverages and food and keeps them cool. My only complaint is that the handle to carry the bag is off center, which I find odd so it has a different feel if you carry it that way. Comfortable to carry around your shoulder.

Love this bag! I am a personal trainer and I needed a bag that could hold my tablet and paper files. The thing I really love about it is that it has great pockets for organizing and an outside water bottle pocket (which is why I went with this over a Timbuktu bag).

Love this bag. Just right to fit my portfolio for work with tidy pen organization on the inside. Really suits my business casual environment at work.

Compared to last year's model, this one is far superior, for my needs. It is a bit bigger, fits papers, big board review books, laptop, baby wipes, diapers, etc. Has a ton of little pockets for my pens, toothbrush, lip gloss, dental floss, snacks, glasses, hair clips, scissors, phone, water bottle, and all the other random stuff I carry around with me. It's not so big that I'll overstuffed it with junk, because if I have the space,I will. This is the right size to carry all the crap I need but small enough so I have to keep it in check. I also like the colorful teal inner lining. It's a great all purpose day bag/purse for work and life. Time will tell how durable this cute bag is, but it sure looks sturdy!

I love this bag. I was going back and forth between this one and the TimBuk 2 bags. I decided to stick with my gut. I loved the size of this bag as its not huge on a woman's frame but it is large enough to carry everything I need. The top pocket is very convenient for my transit passes so I'm not pulling out my wallet. I would highly recommend.

I've had this bag for a little over a month and I truly love it. I'm a college professor but also do outside consulting and fly about 100,000 miles a year. I use this for both day to day at the college as well as my many flights. It fits (perfectly I might add) and gives me almost instant access to my iPad mini, my Air Book, all my chargers, a spare pair of glasses, pens, highlighters, and at least enough papers to keep me occupied on a cross country flight or for the evening at home. Plus I can throw in a yogurt for breakfast or (if we start to bulge at the seams a little) a light lunch. There's an expandable sleeve for water, and what seem to be a perfect number of zipper pockets, Velcro openings, and inside sleeves for pens and business cards, as well as a handy key clip. It is super-light, appears well constructed, and is neither too big nor too small for my multiple needs. I have a singular criticism: while all of the straps and buckles are perfectly secured, the adjustable over-the-shoulder strap separates into two straps (naturally...it's adjustable) and gets tangled. I've taken a small piece of Velcro and wrapped it around the two portions of the strap at midpoint to keep them together . Just a suggestion for Patagonia, one of my favorite companies.

This bag is perfect for what I need. It's big enough to hold my 13" MacBook, field notes, and a few books, but small enough so that it doesn't overwhelm my frame or get too heavy. I got it in all black, but I wish they still made it in nickel.
