If you don't have a high arch and instep, ankle-straps are much too long. Top Velcro barely catches bottom so end of ankle-strap sits too far down toward heel. Sandals look rather "clumpy" on my feet.

I am buying my second pair of these sandals. I have a wide foot and moderate bunions which makes it difficult to find cute shoes that are wide enough to fit comfortably. The front strap on this sandal is angled in such a way that it doesn't cut into my foot. It starts high enough to miss my bunion altogether. Brilliant design for people with foot issues like mine. Absolutely love these sandals!! Very expensive, but worth it.

These shoes are so very comfortable, stylish and a beautiful quality. The width is good but the shoe runs short, order up. The one thing I am disappointed about is the color. I ordered burnt orange and to me they look tan.

These shoes feel amazing so I'm going to keep them but the Burnt Orange photo is WAY off for color. The shoes are more of a honey color. Definitely not the bright saturated orange I was looking for.

Love the look of these shoes. Graphite goes with everything and the height is perfect. Tons of compliments. Only comment is that the top strap was a little uncomfortable the first couple of times I wore them. Sort of cut into my foot. Now it is fine. Bottom Velcro was hard to find the right tightness but that was probably more operator error than anything.

I have a narrow heel so these shoes are great with the strap. I usually wear a 8.5 but I got a 9 which I am glad I did as they fit good. They are not too high but just enough to look good either wearing with a summer skirt or jeans.

I love the way these shoes look! I always fall in love with looks before comfort, but this wedge has both! I'm a school teacher and stand most of the day... These shoes have survived long days in a Kindergarten classroom!

Love these sandals. They are comfortable, and the wide straps make them seem more secure. These do run a little large, and the ankle opening is pretty wide - I am average width and I have to pull the strap fairly tight to keep my heel from lifting up. Might not work well on very narrow feet.

I love these shoes. They are very comfortable and cute. The velcro is nice and it is hidden so it makes it fashionable but easy. The took them to NYC where we did a ton of walking. The feel hurt after a few hours, but that would happen with any shoe aside from gym shoes.

Cute shoe. Comfortable. Straps are soft and do not cut, despite the comment of another reviewer. … I am returning them only because the color is not quite as pictured. The shoe is a bit more orange red. The photo seems to show a brighter red. The shoe did not match my red jacket, or the bright red color in my skirts and other clothing.

I bought these shoes to wear for comfort, and they are quite comfortable. The reason for the 4 stars is because they are a bit floppy when I walk because they are on the wide side. But you can tighten them down with the velcro; however, I have them tightened down as far as they go. They are not the most fashionable sandals, but they do the job in comfort and "cute enough" fashion. Have received compliments, which was good!

I love the style of the shoe. It is difficult to find a comfortable shoe that has some style to it. I especially like the shoe because I have a wide foot and I can never find anything comfortable enough. I do think it runs a half size too big.

Cute shoe, however, I wear a normally wear a size 6 1/2 and these were too big. Will have to return. Also, not enough arch support.

The shoe is very good looking. It is comfortable enough, not as much arch support as I like, but I love the color and the design.

Love this shoe! Very comfortable and fits many width sizes because of the Velcro closures. The only feature anyone who is purchasing this shoe should know is that it is more distressed looking in person than the picture on line. I have to admit not my favorite part of this look, but the comfort and design style has influenced my section to keep this shoe.

Warning! The teal color is more green. That said, really cute shoes! Kind of a hippie and earthy vibe from them. The two wide adjustable bands (velcro) make for a perfect, custom fit.

If you have a low instep, be careful of these. The wide ankle straps may cut into your ankle bone and the straps are too long to catch much of the velcro. Oh, for buckles!

I don't know if I'll keep these sandals, but want to make a comment in general about velcro closings. They do NOT give flexibility of fit the way buckles do. If you have a low instep, the straps are probably too long. Velcro-closings do not allow the straps to close tightly enough. Very frustrating!

Purchased these pretty shoes because I have a wide foot and they are Velcro. I have a high instep and foot did not touch in the middle - no arch support for me. Had to return.

The shoe is great. Nice fit and comfortable. This is my fourth pair of Taos Footwear. Just one issue - the box that I received my most recent pair is very flimsy and not the quality of my order from last year. I keep all my shoes in their original box so am disappointed that the manufacturer has chosen to have a lesser quality box for their shoes which are considerably more expensive than similar style shoes. Hopefully, the manufacturer will reconsider this cost cutting measure and have better packaging (boxes) in the future.

I have recently ordered the Carousel (taupe) and Boardwalk (black) Taos sandals in size 38, according to reviews which had them a bit large. Both types were exactly the size of my feet, but the arch supports were felt under my heels! I assume Taos is making these closer to US sizes now. (I wear US 8 M) I will replace with size 39, hope for the best, and update this review. The sandals were good looking, although I would prefer smaller decorative buttons rather than large ones. I had bought Taos Crave boots in size 39 so I could wear them with double socks for an Alaska trip. They fit perfectly with 2 pairs of thick socks, so I assumed they ran large. These are the most stable, comfortable, handsome boots that I have ever owned. ( the burgundy/ purple is gorgeous!) I will be buying them in aqua blue and tan next season.

I was very optimistic about this shoe based on reviews. Unfortunately they are going back. The ankle strap is too wide. It rubs on my instep and around my outer ankle. They also have average cushion and so-so arch support - both important for me. The 'Birkenstock' cork foot bed gives it a clunky look too.

These would have been great if I did not have flat feet. These shoes cut in where my arches should be. I think if I did not have flat feet they would have been excellent.

The arches on these are placed too far back and thus don't support my arches at all. And as other reviewers mentioned the strap rubs my ankle painfully. For a comfort brand the materials are very nice the but the design is very poor.

The graphite color is a beautiful dark subdued metallic. The sandals felt true to size. Having the Velcro to adjust the straps was a big selling point for me because I have narrow-ish feet. I wanted them for smart-casual wear, summer parties and such, but returned them because they looked a bit too chunky for my feet and slim legs, they made me look bottom heavy.
