I liked these but no adjustment on lowest strap across toes, regretfully returning them

Absolutely love these sandals! Got them for our month-long trip to Italy in 2016. I took these, a pair of Birks, and a pair of sneakers. These were by far the most comfortable for walking the average 8-12 miles our family walked on a daily basis (crazy hubby had an app that tracked our miles haha). They were terrific, no matter the terrain...cobblestones, sidewalks, wooded paths, etc. They've held up well and are still comfortable, 2 years later. I'm back today to treat myself to a new pair for an upcoming trip to Europe. Highly recommend!

Well, the numbers do the talking here. I own this sandal in 5 colors. Super comfortable. I am a true 7.5 M and the 7 fits perfectly. Sure I will buy more.

Beautiful, supportive sandal I will be able to walk all day in. Love the pewter. This is the second (different model) pair of what I jokingly call my “running sandals” by this brand. Best vacation, travel, casual, etc. and this pewter could be dressed up a bit too.

I usually go down a half size or even a full size from an 8 in sandals. In a 7, the placement of toe ridge in the insole hit in a bad place or it would have worked. 8 was too big. Only one of the toe straps is adjustable, the one farther back from the toes. If it fit, this would be an ideal sandal. I like the Light Gold Embossed better than the Antique Silver, but either one goes casual for getting around all day, or a little more dressy for dinner.

I wore these sandals for years until the velcro wore out. They were my favorite sandals and the body and the straps are still intact after being worn for 4 summers straight. If only the velcro hadn't worn out I would still be wearing them! Great product, brand and very comfortable!

These sandles are so comfortable that I bought a second pair. I wear orthodics in my shoes but these are so comfortable I don't miss the orthodics at all.

Wow! I tried these on and they are SOOOOO comfortable! From that moment, they are the shoes I reach for.. The velcro strap makes them super easy for on/off and quick too. The second from front toe strap is velcro adjustable too for a perfect fit up there. Love these. The back heel strap has a little pad that is super comfy and not bothersome at all.

I have this wonderful shoe in another color. I thought the brick color looked more red in the photo, but it was more of a burnt orange brown.

Great color and style! These could be dressed up or down and for the right foot be a dream. They just did not fit my foot correctly.

These sandals are the perfect blend of style and comfort! Velcro adjustable straps makes the fit great while the sole cushions the foot all day long. There is a pearl-like luster to this leather that makes them go with tons of outfits! Love these shoes!

These are great. Sturdy, comfortable, cute. The brick is not red, though--it's more of a brown. I want red!! But I am keeping these anyway.

I am writing this review after buying these shoes just over a year ago for a trip walking all over Paris and Normandy. Best money ever spent on a pair of shoes! This is my second summer wearing them and they are holding up perfectly. The sole has the support and traction of an athletic shoe, the suede footbed keeps my feet dry, the style is light and strappy enough to look feminine with skirts, which I wear instead of shorts. When I'm not in a heel and need comfort for real walking on a sunny day, this is it for me. I honestly never want to go a summer without this pair of shoes, so whenever they start to fail, I will absolutely repurchase these.

I have an extremely difficult time finding comfortable shoes that are cute because of past surgery on my left foot and ankle. Taos is one of the few brands that fit my feet well and are really comfortable. I can wear them all day, even while traveling and walking long distances. I got these in the light gold reptile, although they really look silver, and they go well with shorts, slacks or casual dresses; so cute! Highly recommend these shoes.

I really like the look and fit of these sandals! For me these sandals were a God send I am having side effects from chemo- foot nerve pain - so with being able to adjust the Velcro straps is great. And the footbed is another plus - suede keeps your feet dry! This is the first time I ever tried this brand of shoes I usually buy Clarks!

I tried this sandal along with Taos Footwear Prize 3 (a slide, with a similar "look") and an Ecco Flash (another T-Strap but with all over shiny black leather). All 3 felt great and true to size. The Ecco Flash, with the all black smoother texture leather will suit my dressier events better. And since I don't need 2 T-straps I'm sending this T-strap back. But I do like it! I'm also keeping the Taos Prize 3 because I liked the rougher texture of the leather and the tan footbed gives it a more casual look which I need for more casual occasions.

I got this shoe last week to use for vacation. I have worn it 2 days in a row and no foot pain which is very unusual for me. I am an 8.5W and ordered a 9 which was perfect. My feet always swell up in hot weather so the velcro straps were great. I just adjusted them and kept going. Highly recommend this sandal.

Love the taos trophy sandal. This is my third pair. I did have problems with the velcro not sticking on my second pair so I hope these hold up. I'm returning the pewter for the gold reptile embossed. The pewter is a flat almost gray color I don't think will age well. I wish taos would bring back the light gold color.

I am normally an 8.5 - I ordered a 9, it fits perfectly. I can actually walk in the sandals for an entire day, they don't cause my usual heel pain nor sciatica, which the totally hard, flat sandals do. I am very happy with them.

These look a bit "Roman Sandal"-ish, but I'm keeping them anyway because they are so comfortable.

I wear a size 11 and am happy that this sandal does not make my foot look huge! They are stylish for dresses or pants and a comfortable height. One criticism, however .. I live in Florida and the summers are very hot. The suede foot bed of this sandal is kind of "sweaty" and hot. I would prefer a smooth, non absorbent feel. Otherwise, these are great.

I needed a set of durable, attractive sandals to take with me on a trip to France. These fit the bill perfectly! The suede footbed is very comfortable. So glad I had that. I do wish I had broken them in a little more (I finally got blister on my heel, but only after walking 10+ miles all over Europe for several days in a row). Highly recommended!

This was my first time trying out Taos and I must say they are super comfortable. I usually wear a 9.5/10 and I ended up finding the 10 in these to fit best (they don't have half sizes). I have very narrow feet which makes it quite difficult to find sandals. This particular pair allows you to adjust two of the straps making it very ideal for just about anyone. I tried both the brick and pewter colors and noticed they are not quite as what you see online. The brick is more orange/brown and the pewter is more dark metallic. I'm waiting to see if the other colors in my size become available before deciding which to keep. But I highly recommend checking these out.
