Super comfy, casual, cute sandal. Got compliments the first day I wore them. I usually wear a 7 1/2, ordered a 7, and they were perfect. The strap closest to the toes does not adjust, but I didn't find this a problem. Again, very comfortable and happy little sandals.

I have worn these sandals for the past month. They are terrific! Very comfortable for city walks, short hikes, everyday wear. Good support, straps are well-placed and the sole has good grip.

For an upcoming trip in Greece, I decided that I needed a new pair of summer sandals. My hunt narrowed down the list to five - of which these were the most expensive by far. They came all at the same time and I was able to mix and match on feet to try - these are the clear winners! First - they look cute but they are not really dressy - they would work in a pinch but consider getting a pair of real dressy sandals if you want for going out - the embossing is nice though and worth the extra money. They felt perfect on my feet right away - no adjustment needed, solid soles that do not slip, cushion feeling, adjustable on toes and ankle - no complaints, I am keeping them for sure!

Best shoe I have ever purchased! Sturdy like a gym shoe, but very fashionable. I normally wear between an 8 and an 8 1/2, the eight fit me perfectly. My heels are narrow and because you can adjust all the straps with Velcro it makes them fit better. I like the insoles because my feet normally sweat in anything plastic and these are suede and do not slide at all. No need to break in the sandals you could walk 10 miles in them the first day. Also, I have a condition called "foot drop" from MS, these sandals actually help me walk better because they are anchored to my feet so well. I will definitely be buying more Taos sandals.

Why is it such a difficult journey to find a good-looking, white,"walking" sandal? One that is comfortable to wear while trekking long distances, has adjustable strapping (adjustable is a necessity), and an overall shoe design which doesn't look orthopedic? Finally, after hours of searching and several returns, I believe I've discovered Cinderella's sandal! The "Taos Trophy" is soft and supple to the touch, right out of the box. My feet "purred" once they were "velcroed" into these sandals. They are light and flexible, with a rubber-type sole which means they should grip most pavements, stairs, and certainly pebbly terrain. There are 2 adjustable velcro straps per shoe...at the ankle and at the instep. The toe strap is stationary. Please note, however, these are not "elegant" sandals, I would call them "sporty," and the white is more of a grey-white than white-white, and the leather is pebbled, not smooth. (Actually, I am considering cutting off the T-part of the strapping, just because I don't feel it's necessary to the shoe and it may even make the sandal look a bit smarter, plus, leaving it in place would create a tan mark on my foot I don't particularly need or want.) That said, I have ordered and returned several of the competitors styles of expensive white walking sandals, as their fit was dreadful and their footbeds painful, and I am keeping these and will be wearing them on my next adventure to Japan, Beijing, the Great Wall of China, and beyond. I tried these shoes on shortly before a trip to San Francisco and as soon as I tried them on I was sold! I wore these shoes everyday during my trip and walked at least 5 miles a day. The comfort and support is unbelievable and worth every penny! Now, I search for the Taos brand at all fine shoe stores. Wish I could afford one in every color. You won't be disappointed. True to size.

Love these! They actually look a lot cuter on than they do in the picture. I was worried that they would be too matronly, but they're actually quite youthful! The adjustable straps make them super comfortable, and they don't rub at all, which is rare for me with sandals. They seem to run a little larger; I usually wear a 7.5 and the 7 in these fits perfectly.

I ordered the embossed pewter version of this sandal. It looks great on my feet and is so comfortable. The adjustability of all three straps makes for a perfect fit. I've just ordered another pair in white.

I am so completely happy with these sandals. I have plantar fasciitis and am used to a little pain with most shoes, but these seem to relieve the pain for me. They're super adjustable with the two velcro closures, the arch is supportive but not too high, the footbed is comfortable, and I just couldn't be happier. I spend most of the year in Antigua Guatemala, with its colonial cobblestone streets and difficult sidewalks, so I need a shoe that's a real workhorse. These are workhorses that look like beautiful thoroughbreds. Size-wise, I am a size 7 but apparently my arch falls more at a 7.5. The 7s were too small for me (but adorable in the pewter color!), so I kept the 8s in the copper/bronze, knowing that I can make them a little tighter with the adjustable straps. I plan to order a second pair next time I visit the USA.

I have achy feet and I am all about comfort. Bought these sandals for vacation. Wore them out of the box 6-7 miles a day and my feet never felt better.

It's a nice shoe - and very comfortable, but it's not white - it's off white. I will be returning it and ordering a pair of white sandals.

I originally ordered these in a 9 (I'm an 8.5-9) and they were too big. I tried the 8 and they're perfect! I didn't realize that all three straps are adjustable velcro; that is an added bonus! I do a lot of walking on city sidewalks, so the bouncy cushioned soles are another plus. Also, they're kinda cute! I'm looking forward to wearing these as soon as the snow melts.

I love these sandals! I have wide feet, so the adjustable toe straps make for a perfect fit. The strap above the heel is padded for extra comfort. The suede-like contoured footbed feels great and prevents slipping. To top it all off, they are super cute and match virtually everything!

Love these shoes so much! Very comfortable, right out of the box, and pretty enough I think I can wear them with either pants or a dress. My 'special needs feet' are saying "thank you!"

This sandal is super cute and very well made. I absolutely love the quality of the materials. Unfortunately, it was a little too small and narrow for me.

I love these sandals so much that I bought 2 pairs. I can wear them straight out of the box because the straps are soft and the cushioning on the back of the ankle strap is very comfortable. These shoes could be worn all day as they have a cushiony sole and are adjustable. I normally have feet that are sensitive to any rough spots, rubbing, or tight areas and these shoes don't have any of those problems. They are pretty cute too, being very comfortable without looking like a granny or orthopedic sandal (no offense to grannies).

Very cute shoes and very comfortable. The adjustable straps are perfect. Look nice with a dress, shorts or capris.

I chose these sandals to wear to Italy, where I knew we would be walking many km per day. They not only were perfectly comfortable the instant I put them on, but looked really cute with a dress when I wore them out for dinner. I wear an 8 1/2 or 9. I ordered the 9 and they were a perfect fit! Love the sandals, love Zappos!

I bought these in pewter and they are very cute shoes. I love the support too! I am going to Disney in a few weeks and want something supportive but not clunky looking. While I haven't trekked everywhere yet, I have a feeling I will be very pleased. I do wish they made 1/2 sizes though. I usually wear a 8.5 in sandals and that would have been the perfect fit. I went down to an 8 and the length fits well but I could use a few more cm of strap length so you didn't see the velcro...but they work.

My only regrets are not getting these sandals, sooner and not getting the copper ones too! If this style is still available next spring, I'll do that for sure! They are so comfortable to walk in. Your feet will thank you.

I absolutely love the Taos Trophy! I have never bought this brand before. I am a teacher, so I am on my feet all day. These sandals are comfortable and light on my feet. Just the right amount of support. They didn't create any sore spots. The leather on the straps is super soft. I will buy more from this brand! I bought both the black and the white.

These sandals are awesome, this is actually my second pair. My only complaint is that the Velcro fastener wore out before the rest of the shoe on my first pair. But they are so comfortable I can wear them all day walking or shopping, and they look great with shorts, capris, or casual dresses.

Goodbye Teva and Hello Taos. I couldn't find the Teva style I love because they have been discontinued. Happened upon Taos while looking for something comparable. I found these and they arrived the day of my trip to Spain. I just packed them and now in Spain and am in love with them, so much so that I bought another color to be sent to my home for next year's travels. Got the bronze, size 8, my size, and they are perfect. First day out onto cobblestone streets and no problem whatsoever. I don't wear shorts, rather skirts and dresses and they are cute, stylish, and go with any outfit. I have found my new favorite summer sandal and although they are expensive, well worth the investment. All the positive reviews helped with this selection. Thanks to all who reviewed this wonderful product!

Love them! I have flat, long, skinny feet and tried on my friend's pair. Her feet are very different than mine. They are very adjustable, so they fit everyone! Super comfortable for walking all day.

I was looking for a sandal that would work for a trip to the Bahamas. I needed them to be comfortable for lots of walking and dressy enough to go with resort wear for dinners. These sandals fit the bill perfectly! They are without question the most comfortable sandals I have ever had and they looked good with both shorts and my go to little black dress. I seriously will order another pair or two in other colors. You can't go wrong with these sandals.
