I am a bit late in writing this review, since I bought these sandals several years ago. All I can say is that I love them!! Got them in black, size 12 (wish they made a 12 again) and they look and fit beautifully. The toe ring was a bit tight at first but that relaxed with time. I like the "simple" thong style look. I have been wearing Bernardo sandals since the 70's, and still have a few pair from the old days too! The quality and construction justifies the higher price. They even have a leather outsole which is almost indestructible. I get quite a few compliments on them, but no one has ever asked me why a guy is wearing gals shoes, probably since they do have a unisex look. The wife even has a pair that she loves. Please make these agin in larger sizes!! Thanks Zappos !!!

Amazing fit! I have slender feet and shoes are usually overall big on me if they are long enough. Love these! I ordered more Bernardo sandals in different styles, and found they all fit well. These are cute in red.

I really like Bernardo shoes, but this sandal was not as snug as others I have, and one side felt much looser than the other. Sadly, I will return.

I received these sandals and out of the box they fit like a glove. Soft beautiful leather, padded footbed. I wear a 7.5 and they are true to size for me. I couldn't be happier. Thank you Zappos, you continually rock!

I am almost always a 7.5 and needed an 8 in these sandals. But I love them. It's hard to find flat sandals that are comfortable in between the toes (which these are because of the circle big toe holder instead of a heavy piece of braided leather sticking in between your toes!) and also well-constructed. The soles on these are sewn to through the shoe. I had a previous pair (not by same maker) where the soles were glued and I had to have them fixed 5x! So these are worth the price.

I am very disappointed. I love the look of these sandals but my feet are too thin and the strap across the foot is not adjustable and hovers a good distance from my foot. I have bony feet and unfortunately can’t seem to find fashionable sandals, like these, to fit. These are great looking and well made and I recommend them to anyone with an average width foot.

Love these dark navy, all leather. Perfect fit and did not get any blisters. Soft leather!

Bernardo is my go-to brand. Honestly, I’ve yet to be disappointed with any purchase. These shoes are totally comfortable, even for my first ring toe! I am so happy with the luggage color and I’ve been wearing them right out of the box, with no break-in period. I have always worn a 9 in Bernardo, for years. The quality seems to continue and they are worth the price!!!

I love this style, have had it in black for 3years. Just got this & red, love them both. I usually wear an 8 in Bernardo but had to order a half size smaller this time.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these shoes!! I have worn Bernardos for over 40 years and am still a huge fan. I haven't seen this color red for a very long time, and knew I had to own these. The red is not too orange or too blue. It's the perfect red for a fun summer! They fit very well, not too loose or too tight. It's great that there is a bit of elastic on the band to give some stretch while you walk. Have received compliments every where I wear them.

I got a size 8, and they fit perfectly. These are beautifully made shoes, and I love the style. I am anxiously awaiting warm weather so I can wear them to work and try them out!

I love these summery sandals. They can look boho or classic, depending on what they are paired with. I wore them all day, walking, straight out of the box with no discomfort. They are a true dark navy, which is a hard to find color. I have a wide forefoot and narrow ankles. The shoe fit will, without any of the dreaded hangover. This brand makes quality shoes that are worth the price.

Love this sandal! Well made and comfortable. I have had a hard time finding a flat sandal that is wide enough and this one does it.

I have looked for 3 yrs to replace my favorite sandals. The look is finally over! I normally never pay this much for summer sandals but do not regret this purchase at all! Love this shoe and this brand after purchasing 2 pairs of their sandals (different styles)! Soft leather and well made, great fit, comfortable for a flat (which is very hard for me to find) and classy/classic styles. If between sizes then I would recommend going up a size, they fit my foot true to size but like a glove. Once it stretches with wear over more time, it will not become sloppy. I am ordering another pair today!! Thanks again Zappos!!!

I really like these. They are pretty and run narrow, which works perfect for me. I wanted white sandals and couldn't find any that fit and were attractive. These work for me!

Perfect sandal for year-round wear in South Florida. The light camel calf color goes with everything from shorts to jeans to casual dresses. I was afraid that the smooth sole would stick to my foot in our humidity but it doesn’t, and the leather is very soft but seems strong and did not require breaking in. The lightly padded sole makes them more comfortable than I thought they would be. I will wear these sandals constantly.

These are beautiful and soft leather. Normally wear a 9.5 but definitely needed a 10. I have a narrow foot and the shoe fits nicely.

I like the leather and the style - it's a bit dressy and my foot isn't smashed or squished. There is no arch support, which is exactly what I wanted. I usually wear barefoot style shoes with wide toe boxes and minimalist soles, and it can be difficult for me to find dressier styles that don't try to make my foot conform to an unnatural shape. These shoes provide enough room for my toes, and I can wear them with a dress. I usually select size 8.5 or 9 depending on shoe proportions, and in this style 9 was the right choice for me to have enough width.

I loved these right out of the box. I got them in red and with the white stitching it looks like i have a reverse baseball on my foot and I love it. They are the perfect middle red color. Not too blue and not too orange. I am a 9 on one foot and an 8.5 on the other and these work perfectly at a 9. They run a tad small which is to my benefit in this case. Sandals can be hard.
