I was encouraged to buy these shoes because of a prior review from a woman with narrow feet who said they worked for her. They were much too wide for my AA foot, unfortunately. I guess they really are for a medium to wide foot. They are very cute sandals.

Great every day shoe. Comfortable and true to size. Love it!

I love the look of these but when I put them on they were actually painful! Something about the piece between the toe. I wore them around the house but could never stand it!

I have another pair of the Fifi shoe which has leather completely across the top instead of having the small strip of leather on the instep and it fits me very well. I wear a narrow shoe and normally cannot keep a medium width on my foot. Having the strip on the instep, for me, made the fit too wide. I wish Pliner would make the last year's version again...I would buy it.

These are gorgeous and comfortable! My only beef is with Pliner and their naming of the color. This is so COPPER. No "Taupe" in it....I am keeping them anyway, but was hoping they would not be so red.

When I wear this sandal, I always receive compliments regarding the style and look of this shoe. I must say I love the great support that the footbed provides, and after wearing them a couple of times, they stretched a little bit, but just enough to give me the perfect fit. I must say this is closer to a narrow fitting shoe than a medium size shoe, even though I ordered medium. It worked well for me because my foot size runs somewhere between a narrow and medium. If you always wear a regular size medium, this shoe will probably be to tight and uncomfortable.

These are probably the prettiest flip flops I've ever seen. Alas, I cannot keep them because the arch support is not enough for me.

They run a little big. I had to return them for a half size smaller. They do give the flip-flop sound but I still love them. The right size is very comfortable. Zappos' service is great.

Love these shoes! Dress them up or dress them down! Took off one star because they are just a tad narrow--not a problem for me, but might be for others.

I love these sandals. I must, because I've been wearing them for more than a decade. But something happened, this year -- either my feet got appreciably wider, or the sandal footbed got narrower. If your foot is on the narrow side, get these; you'll wear them constantly, and have them for years. They are that comfy and that versatile! If your feet are even medium width, perhaps think twice. Interestingly, I also got them in gold, and they fit. Go figure.

This is my third pair of black fifi's. The style of this shoe cannot be beat, and I still love them. Each successive pair, however, has felt like a slight downgrade. My second pair was a downgrade in quality of materials, and this new pair feels like a slight downgrade in style. The footbed of the fifi10 is narrower and both the look and feel seem slightly different, which is why I'm giving only 4 stars for 'overall' and 'comfort' categories. Still though, these shoes go with everything and the style always seems fresh and new. These shoes are winners!

Saw a pair of these on an acquaintance, loved it. I need wide width shoes and these only come in regular width, so there was no way i could keep them. The quality & design is superb though.

These are gorgeous shoes. Sadly, the inner cross strap on the left shoe rubs my foot! They are not very cushiony, which would have been amazing. Hoped for more, for this price. Will be returning.

I've worn this style for years and have 3 pairs. Two of them needed resoling. One of them can not be resoled because the base is disintegrating. The one I had fixed suddenly cracked at the back of the wedge and now also can not be repaired. This is sad because they are my favorite go-to sandals.

So disappointed! I have so many pairs of Pliner shoes/boots because they are stylish & comfortable.Stylish / yes. True to size / yes. Comfortable NO. I don't know if it is due to the fact that these shoes are now made in China. I don't know. I have another pair of Fifi's at home. They are a little beat up. They don't give me blisters. I have never written a negative review . This is a first. I could always justify spending more money for his shoes because they are gorgeous & comfortable. Unfortunately now they are rubbing my feet. I believe it is due to the quality of the leather. Zappos is such a great company. No complaints. I hope Mr. Pliner starts making his shoes in Europe again.

This is the most beautiful sandal I've ever seen, but twice the toe-strap has come out of the footbed. The first pair it happened within 3 days of wearing them (luckily, Zappos took them back and I got a whole new pair) but it happened again (albeit 1.5 years later) and luckily an old local shoe cobbler gave them a temporary fix. Not sure how long it'll last, but I'm grateful to get a few more wears out of them. A beautiful beautiful shoe, but the shoe bed is perhaps too heavy for that toe-strap?

Nice style but the inner part gave me horrible blister. It would have been better if the wide shoe band when all across the top. Additionally, a little padding in the inner sole would have made this a great shoe.

I really thought these would be comfortable shoes. I think this brand is known for comfort. But the bottoms are so hard that after a day in them, it feels almost like you have been standing on a hard floor. They are pretty and I will wear them but for walking a lot or standing, I will look to other shoes.

Great style but awkward fit. The molded footbed is uncomfortable unless it fits your foot shape and size. On my feet they ran short and narrow. Disappointed.

Too narrow.

I bought a pair of the iconic Donald J Pliner black leather Fifi sandals years ago. These were ordered as a replacement. Quality is nothing like my original Fifis. They look and feel cheap. Returned them immediately.

I ordered a size 5 and received a size 7..but really size didn't matter because I thought i was receiving a cork shoe since i 2 other pairs of them. These were not cork and the show felt cheap..
