These shoes are awesome! I have short wide feet with bunions so shoes are a problem for me. I was running in Merrell Pace Gloves but missed having cushioning especially on longer runs. These shoes have both room in the toe box and excellent cushioning.

Great choice if you don't want your heel raised but still want a little cushion. I had been running in New Balance Minimus for about 6 months, loved the zero drop but wanted more cushion for the road. These seem to be good for longer distances on asphalt. I needed to go up a half size to get the loose fit they recommend.

Altra makes incredible shoes, and you really can't go wrong with any of them. They help you have a natural stride that benefits your whole body. I used to wear super supportive shoes but now with the zero drop I'll never go back! I settled on a different style than the Torin simply because the sizing is a bit off. I ordered a 7.5, my normal size, which fit more like an 8 or 8.5. Then tried the 7 and it felt small. Still a great shoe but couldn't quite find my size. I'm wearing the provisioness style in a 8.5 and it fits perfectly. Luckily Zappos is such good service it's not a huge deal to exchange, and Altras do have strange sizing.

LOVE these shoes! I am a long distance runner and am constantly battling ITB, hip, and foot issues. I wear a neutral running shoe, usually 8.5, but I got these in a 9 and they are perfect. My running form feels amazing and they are so cushy and comfortable it's like running/walking on clouds. The extra room in the toe box is stellar! I wear them to run, walk, grocery shop...everywhere. Love them so much I bought the pink ones too. I will never go back!

I got these shoes for working. I walk and stand all day and have a bunion. They have plenty of cushion and no rubbing on my bunion. Me feet feel really good in them.

I have numerous foot problems including a neuroma. These shoes are fantastic and one of the few I've found that provide any relief. Now if only they came in some better colors for everyday wear.

I absolutely love these shoes! I have been telling everyone about them having been looking for shoes with a wide enough toe box for ages; the closest that I have come were some styles of New Balance, the Torin fit comfortably immediately once I went up half a size. I am participating in crossFit, cardio-kickboxing, and running in training for Tough Mudder and these shoes work for all three workouts. I particularly like having both a molded insole for running and a flat insole for crossFit. I intend to purchase another pair or Torins for training and a pair of the trail runners (Lone Tree?) for the actual event.

I have been looking for a shoe with a big enough toe box for a long time. I love that it is zero drop because I do not like having pressure on the ball of my foot. I am going to order more pairs of all the zero drop styles that come in my size because it is so hard to find shoes. I've had several foot operations on both feet, and it's very difficult to find comfortable shoes, no matter how much I spend. Finally! Great job zero drop!

Perfect blend of zero drop and cushioning. Typically, zero drop is associated with barefoot running. However, some people just simply cannot go without the cushioning. The shoes make up for that. They allow the natural stop associated with zero drop, but give cushioning to protect feet especially on trails.

As another reviewer said, these shoes have a wide but shallow footbed. That is really too bad because they are well-built and have lots of padding. I have another style here at home from Zappos in this brand in my usual athletic foot size, a 9½, and I am not sure of the sizing. That is why I thought of ordering a larger style in another one of their styles. This style definitely has a wider footbed than the 9½, but the other shoe does not have the shallow footbed problem. In this style the big toenail touches the top of the shoe and I think that may be a problem long-term. Of course it is a bit better when I take out the thicker footbed and put in the thinner one. You will just have to try for yourself.

Very comfortable shoe but I had to return it because there is virtually no ground feel and the thicker sole did not have enough flexibility for me. Sticking with the Intuition 1.5 as a compromise between traditional running shoes and minimalist running shoes.

I don't know how to rate at this time, except that the sizing runs at least one size too small. I am going to order the next size up and if they fit, I will let you know the comfort level.

I did not think these shoes look in person like the photo. In addition there is NO WAY the heel height is 1.5 inches and the platform 3/4 inch. Someone cannot measure. They are about 1/2 inch all the way...very flat. They went right back.

These shoes were not comfortable at all. I have been on the search for a tennis shoe that is comfy, has arch support, good toe box opening without being to big or narrow and doesn't make my feet hurt. My search continues after 10 pairs so far in two months. These shoes started the search and let me tell you did not start it well. They have no support are super light feel cheap the only cushion is the sole which is just a thick line of rubber to make up for the lack of support on the inside. For the price and other reviews I was hoping for so much more. Ugh, the search continues.
