I have had my eye on these for a long time, the proportions are just right, but they always seemed too expensive for a Converse-style sneaker. Somehow the gold ones recently found their way to me, and I don't regret the purchase. They spark up any casual clothes, and are all-day comfortable. They will be my go-to city walking shoe whenever the weather is good, and the cost-per-wear will be down to an acceptable level in no time!

My shoes arrived today (I bought the Leopard color) and I'm thrilled. They feel very comfortable and look stylish too. I took a long walk and it felt like my feet were in (sturdy) pillows! Much better support, craftsmanship and style than other brands I've bought for similar shoes. I've had a few Paul Green shoes in different styles and have never been disappointed. They have lasted a very long time even with the extensive walking I do and have maintained their stylishness. I'm glad Zappos carries many styles because Paul Green shoes are not always easy to find in US.

Felt true to size however, width was a little wide/large in toe box area (ordered 8 B). But, would be fine with a footsie, foot liner or thin sock. I felt this shoe was more like a gym shoe with the padded heel, tongue and good soles on shoes. Stylish walking, run errands, sight seeing shoe with style. Nice if you're travelling out of country and don't want to bring attention to yourself in your Nike trainers or whatever brand of American gym shoes. Not for hiking or walking up hills though.

I love Paul Green shoes, and highly recommend them. I have a slightly wider foot with a bunion forming and high arches and I never have any issues with this brand - they form very comfortable to my foot with no break in time needed. I own quite a few Paul Green shoes and they are always comfortable. Most of my boots and casual shoes are this brand, and they are now starting to offer more stylish dress shoes. I wore this style on a recent trip to Russia, the color worked with any outfit I wore and were always very comfortable, even when I was on my feet on the long tours. I also received many compliments on these shoes. I have converted many friends over to Paul Green shoes, they are not so cookie cutter and the comfort gets you every time.

The nap of the suede was worn and color was uneven! Though the shoes did not appear to be worn the fabric of the shoes appeared worn and distressed. I was very disappointed!

I purchased a second pair of this shoe (this time in the red/gray), and the shoes arrived with gray marks on the red suede areas. Fortunately, with a stiff brush, I was able to remove the discoloration from the suede areas to my satisfaction. I still like the shoes.

I'd give this shoe a 4 1/2 rating if it was possible. I ordinarily wear size 7 1/2 N, but based on another pair of Paul Green shoes I own, ordered the 7 M and am satisfied with the fit. The heel width is narrow enough, and the overall width is ok with a pair of socks. My only concern is the relatively thin rubber sole- as long as the shoe repair man can replace it. The uppers are nicely constructed. These shoes are more for casual wear, and not for intensive walking.

Love this shoe and like most Paul Green shoes both fashionable and comfortable. Wish it came in another color in my size. Looking for a shoe for an upcoming trip to Europe and think this could have been great one but color doesn't work.

I was disappointed in these shoes. I have such good luck with Paul Green but these will not work. The leather around the laces dig into my toes and left me raw skin after I wore them around for a day. Also, the leopard pattern was a dreary color. I don't think I can return them since I wore them outside for a day but would have if I'd known they were going to be so uncomfortable.
