I absolutely love these shoes. They are like walking on soft grass and yet the lines of the shoe are sexy, not clunky like most so-called comfort shoes. The color is a great pop for all of my little black casual dresses and pants.

I love these shoes, they are my favorite black shoe. Not only is this shoe adorable, the best part, it's very comfortable.

I never thought I'd find a pair of shoes that were more comfortable than my slippers - but these are it! I might need to order a 2nd pair - I know they're going to be my "go to" shoe when I need comfort!

These shoes are adorable, feminine and very comfortable. I wear either 8-1/2 or 9 (usually 9) and the 9 in these are very comfortable because they're not tight at all. The red is like a very bright coral red, which I decided was maybe a bit too florescent for my more subdued spring/summer wardrobe, so I'm returning them for the black ones (in the 9).

Comfy shoe. Great for a dance shoe (I glue suede to the bottoms). They run big. I normally wear an 8 but kept these in a 7.5.

Loved this shoe but it seemed stretched when my foot was in shoe. felt overtime it would just stretch out of shape.

Loved the style but the material has to much give. I am afraid the shoe would just end up being way to wide for my feet.

as others reported fit large. ordered half size down but it was not quite right for me either - unfortunately. they are a nice shoe

i almost kept these but decided that i liked the Kenneth Cole gentle souls Giselle better as it is a "drop" higher and a little more stylish. But this shoe is very nice and the suede is a very nice with a dressy look!

I loved the fit of this shoe and wanted to love the style but felt a little bit old lady in them. They were cutest with capris.

runs rather narrow, with a tapered toe box. Wide feet beware!

This shoe in distressed gold is very cute on. The leather is soft and not stiff in any way...it is very flexible around the front part. I ordered my usual size 39/8.5 and it was too short. I haven't decided if I want to exchange for next size up. I have some Gentle Souls sandals from a few years ago and really like them.

I love the style on these. Bought a 10M. A 9 1/2 W would have been better for my wide foot; they didn't have wides, so I made my usual compromise by going long. They are not a walking shoe, too low on the support side especially around the sides of the shoe, and I bought them for a more formal wear and didn't expect more. They are comfortable. I own these in several colors. They look good for a dress up feel in a low heel.

Beautiful shoe! I love the style, the workmanship and leather lining. The buckle is perfect. If only the toe box was not so narrow... Please carry this style in a wide width. For this reason I regretfully have to return this pair.

Very comfortable shoes but run large-recommend ordering 1/2 size smaller. I am going to keep these and wear with socks. This is my second pair of shoes made by Gentle Souls. I ordered because their shoes are the most comfortable I've ever found.

This is a buttery soft shoe. They feel as soft as my daughters ballet slippers. The color is a perfect muted gold/neutral. They would be incredibly versatile. Unfortunately while taking my first steps on a carpeted floor I could feel the ball of my foot right through the sole. I would like these with more padding! My other Gentle Souls do not have this effect on my feet. I had to return them. Sad but true. Thanks Zappos customer service. You're the best!

I have a very flat and very narrow foot, and had never worn this brand before, so bought it in two sizes, 7.5 and 8, medium, in the gold metallic suede. Unfortunately, it was just too wide, both in the heel and the toe, and my foot just slid in it, even with my orthotics in (which I wear in all shoes, even dress shoes). The sole was comfy, however, and there did seem to be some arch support (even without my orthotics). Too big drawbacks, however, were that I was totally unable to buckle the ankle strap, as I just could not get the metal prong into the last hole (I would have had to have some more holes punched, even at that), and the color is really kind of awful - sort of an orangey gold, as if the shoe had had a bad spray tan. I might have considered trying to make the shoe work, in a 7.5 in the black, but for the problem with the ankle strap.

They are beautiful shoes but the 9, despite the lovely soft suede, cut into my big toes at the peep-toe and the 10 is far too big. Too bad they don't make a 9 1/2! NO arch support but could live with that for an evening.

Left foot bunion made this a no-go. The curve of the shoe cut directly into the bunion. Bummer!

The shoe is so not worth the cost. It takes way to long just to adjust the ankle strap in order for the shoe to fit.

I adore these shoes. Look terrific and fit beautifully. Sadly, I have too much trouble buckling them. I must return.

I walk a lot and am generally pretty hard on my shoes, but I found the outer heels wore down on these within a week or two. I found them comfortable but was frustrated with the lack of durability.

Pros: Cute. Soft. Cons: no support, expensive compared to peers.

These are terribly cute and very soft and comfortable but buckling the strap is incredibly difficult! First of all, why is it that shoe makers think we all have giant tree trunks for ankles? They never put enough holes in the straps so you either have to pay someone to do it (not really that cheap) or you try to make a new hole with a nail or something. Ok, hassle enough. Did that. Additionally, the strap is so soft and the buckle is so flimsy that it was impossible for me to get the strap through the parts of the buckle without sitting down and putting my full attention on this for eons. The buckle is okay looking but for this price I think it should be a bit less flimsy and a lot more functional. The shoes are great. Strap and buckle get a thumbs down. If I had been able to buckle these before putting the extra hole in the strap I might have sent them back. Such expensive shoes should not be a hassle to put on and off!
