I've been wearing these boots for a year now , walking nearly 7 miles a day, some days more, on concrete warehouse floor. Almost everything about the boot has held up great. the only thing that wears out a lot are the laces. These boots have a clasp that hooks the laces to keep them from untying themselves, after about 6 months the boot laces started to tear from the repeated rubbing and tension from that metal clasp. But its not like boot laces are really expensive.Another small issue is that the rubber covering the composite toe has started to peel a little bit, but it doesn't matter too much since its still behind the stitching. It hasn't effected the waterproofing at all. Overall these boots are great for the price and would highly recommend them.

A little longer than I thought but Carhartt usually runs big anyway. Very cmofotable and provides excellent protection for my feet while working.

I work in a warehouse and sometimes outside, so please keep that in mind. The quality of the material used on the entire boot is superb. The exterior is made from water resistant material all the way up to the base of the tongue, meaning it can be partly submerged without getting the foot wet. The remaining top of the boot is made from a combination of leather and water resistant material. For the leather portion of the boot a simple google search will bring up the instructions on preventative maintenance and care. As far as the durability of the material exterior wise, it depends on the user occupation and environment. I personally have put it through some moderate to high stress wear and tear situations, with minor abrasion and scuffs after 6 months of use.
The inside of the boot is made of a quality mesh material that adequately keeps the foot warm and dry. The insoles that come with the boot are Ortholite(trademark). Like any footware there is a breaking in period, but with these boots I had little to no problems with minor discomfort, and it took about 2-3 weeks to break in. These boots are great for long periods of standing and walking.
Please note that with any foot wear use quality socks, foot deodorizer, and insoles for the absolute best results and boot life longevity. Clean your boots at least once a month to prevent foot odor, and to keep the boot in porper order. Be sure to have spare laces. They can be purchased at Walmart for under $15.

These boots need to be made in any other country but China. And either be full Goodyear welted or three quarter welt.... Or cement construction.

I love these boots so much I bought a second pair. I have worn these boots at work, at a ski resort, for over five seasons. My original boots are still a first option when heading out, only the laces have worn out. The second pair is for my Yukon, Iditarod, trip this spring. My ONLY negative comment is that they are so water tight they need to be put on a shoe dryer overnight.

Other Carhartt boots break in pretty quick, this pair took a couple of weeks. They also get your feet quite hot so I don't suggest you buy these unless you live in a cooler climate.

Excellent boot. Little tight sliding feet into them but if you just loosen lase up all is good. Also laser tightens up really easy if pull in middle a little and then top. Best work boot I have used. Easy to walk in too. Have just used this late summer so far.

Best boots I've ever had. Saved me from breaking my ankle been to multiple doctors and I'll explain to them how I fell I I stepped off my forklift and twisted my ankle and Sprain it where I have 2 torn ligaments and all doctors have told me that if it wasn't for me having these exact boots on I would have broken bones. This is also the second pair that I have had the first pair I bought one size bigger than what I usually wear and there were a little bit big so the rubber ended splitting around by the toe box(my fault I bought them big because boot dont fit me)but this time around I bought them to my exact size and they have lasted now for 2 years I work outside in a lumber yard full of mud and they have lasted and kept my feet warm through 2 different winters

This is my 2nd pair, they are not 100% waterproof, but after spraying with "Camp Dry" they are.The boot laces wear out after a couple of weeks, but there are great replacements out there. These are the MOST COMFORTABLE FOOT WEAR I HAVE EVER WORN, and I'm 59 years old!

My first pair had composite toe had 2-1/2 years perfect safety boot they held up good. Warm waterproof. Was chaining down a piece of equipment a 53 foot semi trailer aluminum flat bed caught the back of my ankle with his tire that boot saved my foot it tore the material just a little and just a sprained ankle very awesome boot. And the company I was hauling for paid for a new pair same boot

Bought these boots for work. I deliver bulk water to forestry cabins in Big Bear CA. I've had them for 3 months. The shoe laces fell apart after a month. They are not waterproof. I'd say more water resistant as my feet get wet if I step in a puddle with more than 4 inches in it. The bottoms started to fall apart after about the second month. I've never had an issue with Carhartt products before, so I've m hoping it was just a fluke pair.

These boots are incredibly nice. They are extremely comfortable out of the box and are showing very little signs of wear after daily use after 4 months. They are very warm and would absolutely buy them again.
