i was psyched when i saw purple sneakers in 2E from new balance. i should have trusted the review that i had seen. they are not as wide as they should be. i think because when you look the toe area is a little sculpted not boxed as the ww577 from new balance is. i had to send them back. the only shoe for me is the ww577 from new balance it seems, although i will keep trying. thank you zappos, you are the best!

The heel was a bit wide and my toe hit the end on the left foot.

these shoes are not wide. i have tried many NB shoes and the only ones that are truly wide are the style of NB - WW577. i have been getting that same style for years. the other NB's are not wide enough.

Normally I wear an 8N. I always order my tennis shoes a 1/2 size larger. Order these shoes in 8.5N. That size was too short. Ordered them again in 9N. Length was OK but width in toe box was too larbe

I purchased the Narrow and had to return them. The length felt true to size but the depth of the toe box was too deep

Beautiful shoe. But the toe box is designed too narrow for my extra wide foot. If you don't have super wide feet, this is the shoe for you.

When compaired to other comp Tennis shoes these do not have the same ease of pivot. I am an active Doctor of Physical Therapy in her late 30s. I usually am absolutely loyal to New Balance. New Balance is excellent for my flat feet, ankle instability however with the small pivot point at the inside ball of the foot that stuck more than other brands. I don't want to increase strain on my bilateral meniscus tears due to the poor pivot vs others.

I used to love these shoes and bought a second pair after I wore out my first pair! But the new pair were smaller and narrower than the ones I previously bought (I bought the same size). I thought wearing them for a bit would help break them in but to no avail. I'm looking into another brand to buy which is a shame because I've been wearing New Balance for 20 years with no problems, but it seems like they have changed the way they size their shoes (and not just this kind - check out the reviews for their other sneakers).

Perfect fit. Less boxy toe box but plenty of room. Comfortable. Arch support is not what I am accustomed to in New Balance atheletic shoes. Sending back and will look for another style. Giving 3 stars because I can't give five when one of the most essential features is not up to par.

I wanted purple athletic shoes but was disappointed with these because the purple was already peeling off when they were delivered. It looks like the purple was painted over the grey. I imagine that after wearing them a few times, all of the purple would be worn off. This is unacceptable considering the price.

Shoe shopping is always a difficult task for me. As a child, I had to wear unfashionable tie oxfords while the rest of my classmates wore fashionable loafers. The heels of the shoes would always slide up and down. Sometimes I would walk right out of the shoe unless the shoe was securely tied to my foot. Until about 15 years ago, I was able to buy narrow width AA shoes from better shoe stores. Then I was told nobody wore narrow shoes anymore, so the stores stopped carrying them. Just to make buying shoes interesting, not only is my foot narrow, the right foot also pronates due to an overly flexible or collapsed arch. This creates more fit problems for the right foot. This shoe was far too short in the toes. The rest of the shoe seemed okay, but it did not fit, so I am sending it back. The is the shortest New Balance shoe I have ever tried on. It had poor arch support.

Really narrow in the toe box and middle of foot. Not like other New Balance I've worn.

This is a great shoe, but is definitely not a double wide.

The fit, size, and width were not at all satisfactory. The "support" was non existent and it had bumps in weird places. The shoes were obviously returned from another customer due to the stuffing was only for the toes of one shoe.

Terrible fit. Too narrow in the toe box and too long at the heel - kept slipping off my foot. They are not good looking, either. Definitely returning.

Looking for WIDE WIDTH and this does not feel like it is 2E wide. I usually depend on New Balance but won't anymore.

It was too clunky for me, felt like a lot of shoe that didn't feel easy to move in.

If you have bunions or wide feet this will murder your feet. Returned.
