The all-leather design provides great support around the foot. The insole may not feel like much, but the inside is shaped in a way that's ideal for someone like me who suffered from plantar fasciitis with other major brands. This legacy shoe lives up to its reputation and expectations, and I don't think I'll be wearing anything else. Highly recommend this shoe.

New Balance currently holds the market on size Wide shoes for everyday wear and for tennis. These are comfortable out of the box and the all-white is classic for tennis or casual.

Started wearing NB 806 just for tennis but now also wear them for walking and just everyday wear. Like the feel and the look. I heard that NB might be discontinuing this shoe. I hope that is a rumor and that you continue to manufacture this great shoe. Keep up the good work!

I don't know if the "review" below is true about NB discontinuing the 806 ... even though my pair is only a couple months old, I just ordered another pair in case .... I don't know why a great American company would discontinue its best, Made in USA tennis shoe.

I play tennis at least 3 times a week and have for 30 years. Since I have a high instep and a wide foot I really need a shoe that accommodates my needs and the New Balance shoes have proven to be the best fit. At 70 years old I still like to play aggressively and having the right shoe makes all the difference. I would recommend these shoes to anyone at any age.
