Greta shoe, I have several Riekers in different colors and love them. This style feels a bit larger and I am ordering a smaller one.

I got the 38 M width in taupe. On the fit: My foot is 6.5 or 7 with a small bunion on one foot. I have regular width feet with narrow ankles. Often I need a wide width for the bunion but the medium width of this one worked. On the style: I think they're super cute. But, when I wore them around inside my home my feet felt too hot and almost a little sweaty - maybe because the inside is man-made material. This isn't an issue I've had before with higher quality shoes and I don't live in a tropical climate. I didn't see any of the other reviewers mention that. Anyway, that wasn't the feeling I was going for, so sadly I returned them.

I take a 6.5 usually and the 38 M width seemed to be the correct size. Wanted to keep these because I think they are super cute in taupe (not so much in white) but had a few issues I didn't see anyone else write about. One is that my feet were sweating in these on the one day I wore them around the house. I think it might be the (man-made) non-breathable interior that was the cause. Also, I have a small bunion on one foot and on that foot the shoe rubbed on the baby toe area uncomfortably.

This shoe is very cute. I have a wide toe area, but do not require a wide shoe. I would have kept this shoe as it is comfortable but the deal breaker for me was that the top part of the shoe was painfully cutting into the inside of my foot. I do have wider than average but not wide feet. I walked around my house in them for 2 minutes and couldn't take the pain so I sent them back. I was very disappointed as I really loved the style.

I own several pairs of this style of Reikers. I needed a white pair and tried out a few other brands, but came back to these, which are always a safe bet. What I love about them is that they are lightweight, flexible, comfortable, need no break in time, and are the perfect shoe to dance in! I also like the unique, feminine look of these shoes. The only drawback of these shoes is that I've found them not to be long lasting. Probably in part due to the lightweight, flexible very thin sole. It's a trade off. They do wear out more quickly than all other shoes I've had, but because I like the shoes so much I'll keep getting them.

This is a cute shoe. But a 1 1/2" heel is too high for me. Also, my senior foot needs more cushioning than this shoe offers. I'm sorry it doesn't work for me.

I'm returning these because they do not have enough on the bottom between me and the sidewalk. They are really good looking but I need more support. My feet are not easy so I think most people would love these. The upper is soft and very comfy.

This shoe is perfect out of the box. I have bunions and these shoes are a joy to walk in. They also do an excellent job of making my feet look great hiding the bumpiness by the toes. I will be buying this brand again!

Just received a pair in taupe - they are so comfy but the color is much darker than indicated in this photo, embroidered design is hard to notice. I wanted the lighter color but these are so comfy that I'll probably keep them anyway. The color will look good with anything but is a tad on the drab side. My feet aren't quite the same size so I ordered 39 or size 8 to fit left foot and it's a perfect fit for right foot which is 1/4 inch shorter, it's uncomfortable in the arch.

These are really cute, and probably would be really comfortable on the right feet, but mine aren't it. They sort of curve in so that the edge of the leather cuts into the side of my foot on the inside above the arch -- sort of hard to explain but would have been a blister in about 1/4 mile. So sorry to have to send them back though, because they were perfect otherwise!

This was my first shoe from Riekers and I'm really happy with it. I wanted a shoe that was neutral but not black, and there were many options to choose from. It's more comfortable than I expected- I was able to wear it all day right away. I have somewhat narrow feet, and the velcro closure allows you to make it a big narrower. And, like another reviewer said, it fits my orthotics, which makes the only moderate arch support not a big deal.

I always wear a size 36 but these were too large for me. The other brands I buy in this size work out OK. The width was really good and the leather was so soft. Maybe that makes my foot go into the shoe farther. They were really pretty but I could stick my finger into the back of the shoe, so they had to go back. Not available in a smaller size.

They more or less fit. However, the quality of the leather was not at the fine level and the edges were sharp and uncomfortable. I won't buy from the maker again.

These shoes looked better and more "hip" on the model than on me. I felt like an old lady wearing them.

Love the way these look and that is the only reason I kept them. Have worn this brand for many years however this pair did not quite measure up in terms of workmanship, the leather seemed cheap, lightweight. There is absolutely NO arch support and I had to buy inserts for the shoes in order to make them comfortable. Wish Rieker did a better job with arch support.

I have this shoe in black and love how it fits and how comfortable it is. My foot is narrow and Rieker shoes work well for me. I ordered the Taupe color. It is more a grey than taupe. I did not like it and returned the shoe. I wish Rieker made this shoe in a bone or off white.

Ordering the next size up

The taupe was not the neutral color I was hoping for from the computer screen. It was much darker and more gray. The style and fit were perfect, and these shoes would look great with pants, jeans, or skirts. I had two issues though that made me return these. The heal is plastic, which is nice and lightweight but doesn't look like a nice quality shoe for this price. The main concern was the lack of padding on the sole of the foot - specifically the ball of the foot. It was so thin you could practically feel the floor through the shoe. The shoe toe is too snug to add any type of extra pad there.

These shoes are super cute and comfy. The thick ankle band, velcro closure, and decorative button make them very casual. In US sizes, I usually wear a 6.5. I ordered in 37 and they are too big. The taupe color is more of a cool grey. The leather is thin like pleather, I am concerned about the durability/quality so will not be keeping.

Other Ricker shoes have fit when ordering the same size. This one did not. Too big.

These shoes are extremely comfortable right out of the box. In accordance with reviews, I ordered the smaller size and the fit was perfect. Unfortunately the leather of this shoe (the multicolor) was ugly and looked cheap. When I viewed it online, it looked interesting and much more subtle. Alas, I must return....

While the shoes were very cute and would seem comfortable, the strap would not adhere to the Velcro because my foot was too thin. I don't wear narrow shoes, but there was no way this strap would stick.
