I'm a size 9 US and a 40 EURO and the 40's fit perfectly. I really liked the sable/bubblegum color, which surprised me. I thought I would like the black better, but someone else did, because they put a pair of Hunter boots in the Aigle box and sent them back. Oh dear. Anyway, I could only wear these if I go barefoot, because they are very tight to the calf. They skim my calf barefoot, but there's no way I could tuck a pair of pants into them. They are soft, light, and flexible, and the lining is soft and comfy. I may revisit this brand in the future.

This is a great looking boot! It appears a little roomy in the video, even slouchy, but when I tried them on they looked a lot sleeker. I am returning them for the next size up, however. I prefer boots to be a little on the larger size if I'm going to walk a lot. When I placed them sole to sole to a pair of La Canadiennes, they are quite a bit smaller. You can't beat Zappos for selection of styes and sizes!

I love these boots and am so sad to have to return them because they're too small. I wear a size 11, and the 41s (the largest size they have) is a half-size too short. I've been searching for the right rain boot for years, and this is so close to being it. The rubber is light and flexible, so it doesn't chafe the shins or slip at the heels like many rubber boots do. They're narrower in the foot and in the calf, which works well for me because I'm on the narrow side of medium and I have skinny calves (13" at the fullest part) -- other boots gape on me and look terrible. These have enough space around my leg to move comfortably and tuck jeans in without feeling like I'm swimming in them. And they don't make a loud squeaking/screeching sound on non-carpeted floors, like a lot of other boots do. Wish they came in my size. Waaah!

These boots are amazing. I don't think I will ever wear my Hunter boots again. These boots are substantially lighter which makes them much more comfortable to walk in. Calf fits a little tighter than the original hunter boots, and the ankle is a little baggier- overall they look slimmer than my Hunters. While there is no mistaking these for rubber rain boots, they are much more flexible and do have a leather-like look to them, which is fantastic. I don't feel like I'm going out in galoshes. So much so that I'm headed to NYC for two weeks in December and will bring these as my primary knee-high boot and expect to wear them almost every day.

I recently ordered these after much research & am incredibly pleased. At first glance, they seemed expensive however they seem to be worth it. They're actually very comfortable, rubber is very soft but still seems durable, striking a great balance. Is originally looked at Hunter boots but decided against them after discovering they were made in China & some felt the quality now inferior. After reading an article in Horse & Hound as well as other blogs, articles, etc I decided on these & have absolutely loved them! I've even worn them on non-rainy days! Figure color is beautiful, a nice change from the usual black or brown.

I'M SO GLAD THAT I GOT THESE INSTEAD OF HUNTERS I go to college in Boston so there is crazy rain and snow during this time of the year. I'm only 5'1 and i really care about proportion. Since packing on 15 pounds last year I've been very careful with selecting shoes. I've been reluctant in purchasing tall rain boots or snow boots, I would only wear booties or biker boots with a little lift of height I have owned a pair of burberry rain boots since high school and they have been very tight around the calf, being extremely uncomfortable while making me look stocky There was one day that I was so irritated by the dirty snow and puddles so I decided to invest in a pair of legit rain boots it would be safe to say that 80% of the girls on campus own a pair of hunters. i've been so sick of the blacks that easily get dirty and other variety of colors that simply look cheap i had my eyes on the red hunters which i thought would look classier however, i discovered these. i was so surprised when i first touched the boots the rubber is so soft and delicate well it simply looks expensive, nothing like the cheap plastic buckle that hunters always have and with a little uplift of height these look extremely elegant. the rubber is stretchy that it doesn't make you feel uncomfortable they shape your calves perfectly haha I've regained my confidence. I will definitely purchase another pair.

These look great and fit perfectly! These are boots that you would wear with tights or leggings or very skinny jeans!

Perfectly comfortable and super elegant rain boots. They are very flexible, so walking with them is very easy. I love that they almost double for every day boots.

These boots are great. They are very comfortable in spite of some foot problems. The only complaint is that they are too snug around the calf and I do not have big calfs. For this reason I will probably return them and rate them four stars as opposed to the highest rating of five stars.

I had been watching these boots for months and hoping that I would not miss out buying them before they sold out. I finally had enough to make the splurge and order them -- and Aigle are a splurge but worth it; I have a pair of Parcours that I have bean wearing for over five years. The black, size 36 arrived. I took them out of the box. They look really nice and are made very well like Aigle boots are. But they just do not fit. The shaft is too snug for me so I had only ever be able to wear them with skirts and dresses. To me my Aigle boots are all purpose. I can wear them with skirts, dresses, slim jeans, even normal pants folded sideways at the shin and tucked in. The foot was snug too. I think it would have bean OK. My toes did not seem squished but there was no room for thicker socks in winter. Again that is a requirement of my Aigle boots. I wear them all year round. These are really cute and made well. But they just did not fit the full bill for me to keep them.

These are nice boots but the shaft was too narrow for me. I could not tuck my jeans into the boots. They were tight in the ankles also.
