Nice dress, but not made for tall women. I bought it because I thought it could be a good work wardrobe staple. But, the shirred torso is too short (I'm 5'10"), making the dress too short for a conservative office and the overall fit a little off. Fabric is also clingy, so you'll need a good slip if you don't want to show every curve and bump. Would be good for a night out, but definitely not a work environment.

I love this dress so much! Wore it for an office holiday party and felt so classy, confident, and comfortable all night. I added a few sparkly accessories to dress it up, and it was perfect. This dress is definitely a keeper. Form fitting but so flattering! Didn’t think such a thing was possible for me, but the “shirred waist” style is really incredible. When I tried it on I couldn’t believe how great it looked and how awesome I felt. The price point was also about half that of the other dresses I was trying. Winning all around!! I wore some black spanx underneath. The material is thin, but certainly not sheer. I would say I typically wear a size large, but size medium fit great and size large was too large. I’m 5’-6” and quite pear shaped. The dress accentuated my shape without making me feel uncomfortable.

I really liked the style and fit of this dress. However, I didn't not feel that the quality was worth the price. The material was just a basic spandex/polyester dress. Had the dress been half the price I might have been convinced to keep it.

Loved this dress! I am 5'4" and it originally hit my right in the middle of my knee so I had to get it hemmed. The gathering at the back was great and made the dress hug my body without being too tight. I am 5'4" 105 pounds and the XS fit perfectly. I got many compliments.

This is a great, simple, go to black dress that you can dress up or dress down. I am tall (6 ft) with slender build and the medium fits well. It does ride up a bit so i was tugging at it....but i think that is because the spanx I was wearing sucked. Next time i plan to wear with stockings. I never wear long sleeve dresses, but the fabric of the dress is breathable... however, it is kind of thin...so unless you have a flat stomach and no love handles, you definitely need some sort of spanx or smoothing underwear. Got a ton of compliments on it. Def recommend.

This dress is good quality not too heavy or too thin. It's very flattering on and hides tummy imperfections. I'm 5 ft 2" and the length is good.

This dress is definitely made with a very thin, taller person in mind. The shirring in the midsection is so profuse that you'd need to be tall to spread it out a bit or otherwise look like you have a bunch of fabric around your center. I am 5'2" and 118 pounds and usually wear a size small, 2/4. This dress was embarrassingly and uncomfortably tight all over. The fabric is thin and cheap feeling as well. Going back.

This dress is soooo flattering! Absolute perfection! All six of the KamaliKultue pieces I ordered are just amazing. THey look so much more expensive than they were. The fit and quality is great. I did go up a size on the tighter fitting pieces, and I'm glad I did. I'm 5',5", 118lbs and I did small, instead of extra small. One piece had messed up stiching, but Zappos made the exchange so easy, as always. I will be living in these beautifully cut, machine washable, timeless pieces all year. I'm even tempted to by duplicates, I love them so much.

This dress is really pretty and very stylish. its super chic and simple and looks great on. The material is nice, although it does feel somewhat cheapy, but overall it's a beautiful dress that you can wear to many different types of occasions. Beware, though, that this dress is very snug and you might want to order a size up if you are in between sizes.

I'm rating that as a MATERNITY dress only. It is perfect for when you're big bellied!! It stretches to fit a full basketball and I wouldn't wear it as a non-pregger. But if you're looking for a knockout maternity dress look no further.

Norma Kamali's designs are lovely and lasting. They are comfortable to wear, versatile and changeable and can easily go from day to evening. Her fabrics are very good for travel. This dress is flattering. Stay in shape! It's body revealing, yet remains a class act.

Incredibly comfortable and flattering. I am a size 8 and bought a medium. The fit is tight but comfortable. The dress definitely clings a bit. I love the classy bateau neckline and knee length. The dress has the perfect amount of ruching that puckers along the small of the back and sides so that it adds a little interest and coverage without bulk. So many dresses have too much ruching, but this one is just right. I am really excited to wear this dress.

Effortlessly cool, comfortable and well priced for a classic black dress. Will wear this to work a lot this season. A great basic. I am typically a 4 in dresses and got the small.

One of my favorite go to dresses. You can dress it up or down with the change of a blazer,scarf,etc...very classy! Time to get another one. Literally wore it out.

SO FLATTERING

This dress is just beautiful. I could not be more pleased with the material, style, quality and cut. It is form fitting and flattering for petite figures. I wore it to a wedding and long reception and it could not have been more comfortable. It never lost it's shape or wrinkled the entire evening. I would buy it in more colors if they were available.

I love this dress! I am 5'1 135 pds and I went with the xs. The small fit fine but the xs felt more snug which I prefer. Great dress to accessorize and for curvy girls its a must.

I'm 5'9" and 155lbs. I tried both long and short sleeves in this dress in medium and large. Both sizes could have worked, I went for the medium because it gave it a bit more sexy edge. The large seemed to "mature" the look, and the neck gaped a teeny bit on the large. I also liked the sleeveless better. I just couldn't pull off the long sleeve look. The material is thin, but nothing spanx can't cure. Also, the ruching does camouflage the belly a bit. As long as the dress stands up to washings, I can see this remaining in my closet for a long time. This was my first kamalikulture dress, and I'll be trying more. Eggplant and Teal are great rich, colors too. Also, of course, Zappos is ridiculously awesome. No other online shop compares. Just wish they sold more items. Keep up the good work. Good variety.
