I purchased these for my daughter who is a grocery clerk and on her feet all day. She loves them. Helps her through the day in comfort.

My work involves carrying things and a lot of walking on concrete floors. I work in an antique store and have worn these for three weeks now. They have no scuffs or scratches on them, even after loading the truck with salvaged lumber, furniture and whatever! That's what I call a work shoe! These nurses shoes are padded on the inside, which makes them very comfortable. There is even padding along the top where your foot goes in (look closely at the pictures and you can see the puffy stuff) that holds the shoe in place but doesn't rub. The style isn't fancy but I like it with slightly flared blue jeans-it makes them look kind of like a construction worker-type boot. Also I wore a pair of skinny jeans with these shoes one day and that made them look like retro-type shoes. I am very pleased with them. They have a solid and stable bottom (good for walking over uneven surfaces, like barn floors and in old sheds)-- they will not slip around while I'm climbing up a ladder to look in the rafters, haven't got slippery when wet, and they do not make that odd squeaking noise some shoes make. From now on I will buy Nurse Mates shoes of this type. I wish I'd known about these years ago.

Very comfortable and roomy but after about 4-5 hours of being on my feet they start to hurt. I think this is due more to my flat feet than the shoes, I think I just need an extra shoe insert.

My wife works on her feet all day. Nurse Mates have rescued her from tired feet. This is the third consecutive pair of Nurse Mates that I have bought for her. We are more than please with the quality, fit and feel. Although not necessary, I further supplemented these wonderful shoes with the added benefit provided by Superfeet insoles (pink) but, these Nurse Mates are the core of my wife's working comfort. Absolutely wonderful!

Tailored, comfortable from the moment I slipped my foot into it. Wore them out of the box for a 10 hour work day on my feet. A bit wide in the heel if you have a narrow heel. Fit my orthotics. I would buy them again!

I was a little nervous at first because of the sizing reviews. I'm 6 1/2 in boots, 7 in sneakers, and 7 1/2 in heels. Since they ran narrow I didn't know if i should size up to a 7 1/2. I purchased a size 7 and they fit pretty good, a little tight at the heel but I'm sure after a few wears I'll break them in and they will feel awesome. It is also a plus they are pretty cute nursing shoes, not so chunky and light weight, very comfortable.

Finally! A woman's shoe that looks good and can be worn in a restaurant. Not quite as great on the tread compared to the Skechers Oswald shoe I normally order, but it looks so much more professional than that clog look.

The insoles that come with these shoes are not very comfortable so I use other insoles from other shoes. That is not Zappos fault. Zappos has excellent customer service. I have always been a happy customer of theirs. My shoes arrive in about two business days which is incredibly fast and they have free shipping both ways. If you really do not like a shoe, they will let you return it free of charge. I couldn't be happier.

I have been stopped by numerous people to comment on my shoes! Everyone likes them and they want to know what brand and where I got them! They are a little tight across the top of the instep area. Otherwise, very comfortable!

The fit was great on this shoe, including the bit of heel slipping I've read is recommended. The whole inside felt soft and cushioned but still supportive. Unfortunately, I needed something less clog-like and more office-style. In a different environment or for someone less concerned about the look, these would have been great.

The shoes are comfortable and look fine.

I need a comfortable shoe for work. I only a little longer like an 8.5 size

My job requires standing for at least three hours and these are the most comfortable work shoes that I have ever worn. I am giving them a four star rating because I got my perfect fit by removing the removable insole and inserting Black Superfeet, cut to size. I like a cushiony feel, so I added Dr. Scholl's Double Foam Insoles on top of the Superfeet. I have narrow feet, so this helped with the shoes' Medium width. I also had a problem some others have reported - that the right shoe squeaked. The first suggestion was sprinkling baby powder on the sewn-in insole, shaking it into the outer edges where the insole meets the leather body of the shoe. That did not stop the squeak for me. The next suggestion I tried was squeezing a fine line of oil around the sewn-in insole. I used mineral oil, as it has no smell. I then reinserted my Superfeet and Dr. Scholl's and wore them to work - no squeak! The shoes are now perfect and I would happily buy them again.

Very comfortable shoe! I'm on my feet for 12 hour shifts and these are really comfortable. They do run a little on the narrow side though so if I ordered them again I'd get wide.

Good work shoe if you are on your feet all day. I am a true 9.5 wide and it fits just right. So, if you feel you are a little more then a wide width, I would suggest a different shoe. It is not a beautiful shoe but for my job it works fine.

Very happy with these shoes. They are as comfortable at the end of my shift as they are at the beginning. They shipped to my house extremely fast.

I've been a fan of nursemates for a long time and am a regular zappos customer. I received my shoes in a day because I am a VIP customer. These shoes are pretty great quality. I would say they have medium arch support. I wear my 3/4 superfeet insoles for flats on top of the pillow top insoles because the shoes don't have excellent arch support. These are not the most comfortable nursemates I've ever worn but they aren't the most uncomfortable either. They are very nice looking shoes though and match a lot of outfits. I also wear these to work. I work in a kitchen with wet floors and these shoes are extremely slip resistant. Overall I would recommend these shoes. I do however wish they were waterproof or water resistant but they're not.

I need wide width shoes due to a bunion and was having trouble finding them. I absolutely adore these shoes. I hate to say it but I don't think they are wide width. I don't have the same problems with other shoes but these are still tight around my big toe. It took a while to break in but now I love them and never want to take them off.

I needed white plain shoes for my job (I work as a nurse) and these fit the description. I have slight bunions and it can get painful towards the end if the day (however this happens to me with almost every shoes). My only complaint is that they crease in the inner side by the toes. Not sure if its only for me, but I'm not loving that look.

8/20/2013 I stand on my feet for an 8 hour shift, so Nursemates sounded like a good idea. I received them today and they fit fine lengthwise. However, I need more space, so I will order the wider size.

If you do not consider yourself as having a narrow foot, then you really should choose a wider width. The shoe is also a bit longer than expected so if you are between 2 sizes, choose the smaller.

These felt snug and pinchy with not enough arch support. Returning
