This is one of the only slip on-style shoe that can accommodate my 8 year old daughter's very high arch, due to the seam placed far forward on the shoe. She can slip them on easily, and they stay on without a problem. Also, she refuses to wear socks due to sensory issues, but these shoes do not get 'stinky'. They do have a strong, but non-offensive grape bubble gum smell the manufacturer applies to the shoe. They are "medium-durable". I ordered a full size larger than normal. I wish they had arch support.

Both my girls love these shoes( 5 and 8).And they look cute even after getting a little beat up. There isn't much support, but they are easy to put on and a great style!

I ordered the Big Kid size for myself and they are super cute! I have to say though, the pair I received had some stiff glue that started rubbing the outsoles of my left foot after a day. So I probably can't wear these without socks anymore. Also, the Big Kid size didn't have the ribbed toe like it shows in the photos (it was plain and flat. Despite that, still overall one of my favorite daily shoes.

My daughter loves these sneakers. They do run about a half size small. They are great slip-ons that can be worn without socks. They do not get smelly!

Cute shoes. Better than converse because no laces to tie and easier to get on. Had to get a full size bigger for my little girl.

So cute, stylish. True washed denim. Soft, pliable, but could not even get them on her feet. Had to return, no size 1 kids.

My daughter has had three pairs of these shoes over the years, and we love them. They do have a fairly strong fruit smell that fades eventually, which my daughter loves, but if you are sensitive to scent you might not want to be in a closed car with them for a month or two. They are light weight and easy to put on and she runs around in them at school and at home.

This is the second pair I've purchased for my daughter. She requested the pink and now the denim color. The shoes have a scent that my kids describe as nerds candy. This helps if your kid has stinky feet, like mine does.

These are cute and comfortable, but they were just too small. Even if they fit, I would have had to return them because the bubblegum chemical smell blew me away. I had to put them in an unused room until I had time to return them.

Sizes seem arbitrary in small children's shoes. When my child's foot grew to large for his size 20 Cienta shoes we decided to get him the next largest size because we really liked the shoes he had. The size 21 feels no different and the width of this shoe is even narrower than the size 20 we had. After having my son wear these shoes in our backyard for a half hour, they are no longer returnable... so we've just wasted $40 which is what every new parent wants to do. Bummer

Had to return them for a half-size larger. They look so small compared to regular shoes. They are so cute on his feet and easy to put on.

I ordered 3 sizes before I got a pair that fit. I normally wear a size 3 in kids’ shoes. The 4.5 size fit me in this style. However, Zappos worked with me on every order, and I got my orders extremely quickly as well as getting my refunds quickly.

These are super cute and simple shoes! I’ve gotten several pair for my daughter, now 5yo, over the years. They seem to hold up well for as fast as she grows out of them ?

These shoes do run about a full size small. I usually wear a 3.5 (big kid size), so I purchased a 4.5 and I couldn't be happier with them! They're very comfortable and I love how they just slip on without slipping off my feet when I'm walking. While they look great with anything from jeans to skirts, I like them for gardening, too, because they don't have a tread on the bottom that traps dirt and mud. I'm definitely going to be buying more pairs of these in other colors.

Our child wears size 1.5 and this shoe was too small in 2.5. Love the shoe so will try again in larger size.

We love our cientas. My daughter will only wear these shoes. Keds are uncomfortable for her. And these are soooo easy to get on! Highly recommend!

This shoe is very narrow and not a good fit for a wider foot. My son is a 3 and couldn’t even get it on his foot!

These were so cute except they ran very small. I would say 2 sizes too small. I don'r know about comfort since my child couldn't fit into them but they feel like they'll be comfortable because of the padded footbed.

I returned these adorable shoes (2 pairs) twice. They are so darn sweet on my little guy, but about 1 & 1/2 sizes to small. I did follow others comments, and ordered 2 times up....BUT they still did not fit right, way to small!! So back they go. Really wished they had worked out, because they are adorable!! I would have bought every color they had. So disappointed! ? But love zappos, easy returns & always helpful.

Wonderful shoes. Keep buying it because it’s comfortable, never out of style and easy to put on. Great quality, great fit. My daughter has got 10 right now but i got her 10.5 and it works well and got some room to grow. Zappos is truly amazing. Package comes in two days. Returns processed at the same speed and NO PLASTIC in their packaging. Thanks Zappos you make our life is much easier!!

My daughter loves these shoes. First of all they smell like berries or sweet candy! My daughter is in a 10 and I sized up a little so she could have room to grow. The 10.5 is perfect!! These run true to size in my opinion. We tried the 11 and it was huge. These Cientas will definitely be a yearly staple in my girls wardrobe and Zappos is amazing as always! Love these! i keep reordered them and alternate between this color and the distressed blue. They fit my daughter great and unlike the mary jane cientas, don't rub or bother her without socks.

My 8 year old loves these sneakers. Cute, comfy and the smell is a perk.
