Bought this for my 13 month old son for summer. He's been walking since 10 months and managed this flip flops great (I was worried they would be too cumbersome). The bottoms are soft and flexible. He didnt seem concerned about the piece between his toes. The description mentioned the back strap is adjustable but I have figured out how to do that yet.

I ordered these for my toddler in a size 6. They are actually closer to a toddler size 4. Tiny! I just re-ordered the size 8, hopefully they will work.
