These shoes last forever. I got the replacement to a pair I got my daughter almost 2 years ago. And they still look great. Her foot did grow a bit so we needed to upgrade but if you wash these shoes they look like new for so long. Before this I got some shoes from another brand that rhymes with Fletchers and they lasted (maybe) two months before falling apart. While these shoes appear pricey they last so long you’ll definitely get your money’s worth.

Excellent over orthotics! Easy to get on and off! Perfect width and depth for fitting over orthotics. I love the strap across the top is actually long enough to fit properly. Most important these are lightweight and do not effect my daughters foot pattern/placement when walking. We love this shoe and the design. We especially love how there is a little more room in front of the big toe.

After trying numerous other brands, I have landed at Tsukihoshi. I won't bother with any other shoes. They actually last for several months. They are durable, washable, dry out quickly, do not smell. The soles are SO durable and have good support, while still being flexible. PLUS they are EASY to get on/off. Fantastic shoes for little kids.

This is the second pair I have purchased for my daughter. She loves them and I am a HUGE fan of their durability! We have washed her first pair at least 4-5 times and they still look brand new—no fraying and colors are still bright and bold. When it came time to get a bigger size, she requested the exact same style and color. These do run about a half-size to a full-size too small though. Each time, I’ve measured her feet and gone up a whole size based on the sizing chart. This last time, I could have probably just gone up a half-size but her feet are growing so fast that it really doesn’t make too much of a difference. I love that the tongue of the shoe is secured on one side and that the Velcro makes it easy to get the shoes on and off when we are in a hurry. We all love this shoe and I’m pretty sure we will be ordering another pair when the time comes!

GREAT quality sneakers - durable, wide enough for extreme comfort on little feet, on and off with SO much ease - just a great shoe. 6 year old daughter wears size 13 but is still able to wear size 12 (Pink Kaz style) I purchased beginning of school year. Definitely buying again and highly recommend

Kiddo is happy with them and so am I. Haven't tried washing them yet, but glad that's an option! We're only a couple of weeks in, but they seem durable so far. Regarding sizing, the pair of shoes my child was growing out of was a size 9 in Cat and Jack brand, and a size 10 in Tsuks fits perfectly.

My 4 year old has had these shoes in almost every size. She has a weak ankle and they provide her stability and allow room for her shoe insert. They hold up so well even 6 months later and several washes they still have some life left. I love these shoes.

These shoes are extremely well made. This is my first time buying this brand, but it'll be my go-to from here on out. Usually, my preschooler's shoes look completely worn after the 1st day she wears them outside - and these are other "high quality" brands. I was getting frustrated because her shoes kept wearing out before she outgrew them, and given how quickly kids grow, I expect the shoes to last until outgrown. In contrast, my daughter has been wearing these Tsukihoshis for 2 weeks (to preschool and during lots of outside play) and they look like they just came out of the box. I'm amazed at how durable the material is! I also love the fact that they can be washed when they do get dirty. My daughter thinks they are super comfortable, and I love the style. Everyone wins!

We were looking for a minimal shoe that had just enough for protection for the man-made surfaces in this "concrete jungle" we live in. We are big on barefoot time and healthy foot development and it is so hard to find kids shoes that are lightweight, allow healthy toe splay (wide toe box), grippy in the right places, flexible and easy for kids to manage. These are the closest we've found! We still make sure our kids have lots of barefoot time, but for the colder weather and for school field trips we're glad to have this option. Also, while we generally prefer fewer synthetic materials, I certainly appreciate that these are legitimately machine washable. They also hold up! We have toddler versions that are on their third kiddo! Reminder- Tsukis run 1/2 to a full size larger than standard American kids shoe brands.

3 year old daughter likes the style and comfort. I got an 8.5, probably should’ve gotten an 8 instead but she runs around in them safely so we’ll keep them and have them for longer. Haven’t tried washing them yet.

These sneakers are worth every penny! This is the second pair in this style for my daughter - only purchased because she outgrew the first. They definitely run on the larger side so keep that in mind. My daughter wore these sneakers practically every day for well over a year. The outside held up beautifully; the insole showed the only signs of the intense wear she gave these sneakers.

These shoes are great! So bright and colorful! Also fit my daughters orthotic.

I found this brand on a list of minimal footwear for kids and am so happy. They hit all the check boxes - zero heel lift, wide toe box, flexible and stay on well. And super-cute. I let my daughter pick the color and she loves them. I was happy to see reviews of them washing well and so I didn't mind the price. Not all of the styles from this brand look to be considered "minimal footwear" - others look to have a pointier toe and heel lift - more like a traditional running sneaker.

These run big. My girl is wearing size 11 See Kai Run sneakers (dark purple). 11 almost fits her snug and her size 12 OshKosh sneakers are too big for her right now (pink with gray sole). I ordered 11.5 in this shoe and it’s bigger than all three! Returning. Cute shoe though. Lightweight with ample toe box. Might try again in a smaller size.

Adorable, my daughter finds them comfortable, and they have been very durable with minimal obvious wear after extensive daily use.

We are new to this brand, but my daughter really liked the shoes. They are high quality and fit true to size.

I got these shoes since they make half sizes for my son and daughter. I was tired of shoes that were too tight or too loose. These turned out to be the best shoes. They fit perfectly. Easiest shoes to put on and take off. They (2 and 4 years old) can do it themselves. I still prefer the look of some Sky Jordan 1's, but these are great for toddlers.

We bought these for my daughter, and she loves them! I like the enlarged velcro strap.

I highly recommend these shoes. I bought it for my daughter, and they are super comfortable. she can do different types of activities in them. excellent quality and comfortable. The sole is on the thinner side, but that's great for indoor or PE exercise.

My 2.5 year old loves these - easy for her to get on and off and immediately comfortable!

This shoe is a full size larger than Cienta, Under Armour, and Livie and Luca shoes. They appear to be well constructed, they're good looking and my preschooler loves putting them on. The colors are perfect for cherry blossom season.

We bought these shoes in a prior size and different color for our daughter. She loved them. It was our first try with this company, but we were impressed. We tend to purchase Stride rite or Plae or Pedi Ped, but we sure like this style and brand also. They are very light weight which is fun and they have a nice high instep, so they are very easy to get on and off. I also appreciate that they wear well when our little girl has a sock. Some shoes are just too tight with socks. I would highly recommend this style in particular. They are easy and fun and wash up well and are made well.

Excellent quality and nice look. Good for kids with wider feet. Super light and flexible. Sole is thin which I liked.

My active 5 year old daughter loves these shoes. They've held up extremely well after a few months of wear.
