Love these shoes. This is my 3rd pair from the Nike Free Run series. I tried the Saucony Kinvara 3 (?), but I had to return them because they rubbed the back of my ankle raw. The Nike Frees are not constrictive--they really are "freeing" an provide sufficient support and cushion for people looking for a minimalist shoe without going extreme. Even if you're interested in transitioning to running barefoot, it might be a good place to start.

Love the look of these trainers, but I wear a size 7 and purchased 7.5; and it's still a tight fit. I would recommend one size larger. I have only worn 5 times, and now they are in my closet.

Super comfortable shoes. I usually were 8 or 8.5. I got these in 8, and they fit me just perfectly.

This shoe is light weight and very cute. Get them 1/2 bigger. However not for the novice runner. If you need any type of support and plan to run do not go for this shoe. I kept the shoes but now only wear them in the gym; on the elliptical or other low to no impact activities.

I am an 11 at most and I needed an 11.5 in these shoes. Love my Free Run 3 in 11 and tried on a free run 5.0 (in black) in store and 11 was fine but this is the second pink I have tried that 11 was too small.

These Nike running shoes are so nice! I am training for a half marathon in a couple months and these shoes have made my training go so smoothly. No knee pains or anything. They have a barefoot flexible feel, but also good cushioning and the right amount of support. Our family loves Zappos. We buy a lot of our shoes through their site. We have had to return shoes for one reason or another and they have sent us our credit right away. We also had the stitching on a pair of Nikes wear out extra fast and when we asked Zappos if they could help us, they gave us a whole new pair! They are an awesome and quality company! Thanks, Zappos!

Absolutely love these shoes! Very light but still have a great structure. Feet don't sweat. Only thing that's not optimal is that the backs have no structure so they're hard to get on.

Great shoes. I feel so comfortable in them. I had Nike Free 3.0 and decided to upgrade to 5.0. I'm very happy with the color. I got so many compliments.

Comfy right out of the box! That's how shoes should fit, not breaking in nonsense, etc. These run small, go 1/2 size bigger. Cute looking, very light, conforms to feet very well. I appreciate the space in the toes that these offer. No more feet squeezed effect after a workout. Previously, I bought a pair in an outlet store and the fit was good and just right. I thought that after using them they would stretch but they did not and ended with a sore big toe after running. Lesson: bring your own socks and don't trust the ones given in their Nike stores.

These shoes are so cute, but the heel counter of the shoes does not come high enough and therefore it does not keep foot very stable. The tongue is attached to the the sides such that if one had a high instep would feel tight at that part. I tried them on with very thin socks and the instep still felt tight. I wish the tongue was flexible so that one can adjust it according to one's instep.

Ordered my usual 6 1/2, which is what I always order in Nike shoes even though I'm a 5 1/2 and even this felt too small. It was a boxier toe than I am used to which should be good since I am kind of wide in my toes, but it was deceiving. Still a very narrow fit just shorter by coming to less of a point. The instep was incredibly tight. I had to have them so loose I almost didn't have enough slack to tie a tiny bow. I also agree with previous reviewer that heel felt low and not supportive. These are definitely going back. They're so cute I may try a 7 but I feel like even that may not work.

The grey is actually a good amount lighter than what's in the picture (on my screen at least), but I actually like it even better! I usually just wear Chucks because I like the look of it, but I started taking the train to work and so have to walk ~2 miles every day, and the Chucks just weren't cutting it. After I got these....oh man, night and day. SO COMFORTABLE. Looks great, feels great, and as always Zappos' customer service is unparalleled! 10 stars!

10-10.5 usually fit in regular shoes, only the 11 fit in these Nike Free. Lightweight, comfortable, and cute, these are only good for me for light workouts and walking around. Not enough support for me for running or serious walking, I have plantar fasciitis, my orthotics do not work in these due to the lower cut around the ankle-my foot ends up being raised to high to keep the heel on. The black/gray look great with skinny jeans or yoga pants when you need a tennis shoe, but need to look nice.

My daughter loves this shoe. She wears a size 11 M and the shoe fits perfectly. Although the 'pink' is too bright for me, she loves it.

I love these so much I'm going to order another pair. I wear a 7.5 to 8 in other shoes and have in the past had to buy larger Nikes but the size 8 fit perfectly. The heel isn't overwhelming. It has a nice low profile with an excellent arch support. It flexes superbly. The mesh breathes so my feet don't get too hot. My only challenge with these shoes is picking the bits of stone out of the flexible foot bed after a trail run. But considering how wonderful they feel on, it's a very minor inconvenience.

These shoes fit like socks, not shoes. They are snug and I cannot wear socks with them but they are super comfortable. I am wearing them for rehab of a crushed tibial plateau and they have been wonderful. I get tons of compliments on them - even in bright orange.

I saw these in a store and knew I'd had to order online as not many places carry half sizes (10.5 in my case). Came here and they shipped out very quickly. Love the color and very comfortable. First time buying these kind of Nikes.

Love these shoes! Was wondered they would be too small based on the reviews, they did feel a little tight initially but ran in them today for first time wearing and felt great! I got my normal size. The laces are so bright! I love the color combo.

I loved the Nike+ 3 and wanted to try these because of the added support. At first they felt much tighter than the 3s, but after wearing them a few times they feel great. They definitely are more snug around the foot, but I don't find them any more narrow or shorter in length. The attached tung does make them a little harder to get on, but it will get easier with time. I do feel they have more support than the 3s and my foot isn't moving around as much. Overall I'm very happy with them.

I like the Free Run 2 the best - these are better then the 3s but could stand for a little more support.

So disappointed with this version of the shoe. It runs at least a whole size small. The back of the shoe is soft and provides no ankle support at all. The toe box is wide and looks really ugly in my size 10 feet.

I have purchased 3 pairs of the Nike Free 5.0+. Its a great shoe, very comfortable with good cushioning. The first 2 pairs, I sized up from my normal size 9 to a 9 1/2. The last pair I sized up a whole size to a 10 because my toes were rubbing on the toe of the shoe.
Also, I use this shoe primarily on my treadmill before retiring the shoe to dog walking. Because the soles of this particular shoe are very soft, I have learned that the belt on my treadmill had might as well be a belt sander if i let the sole overhang onto the belt when I have my feet on the side rails while the treadmill is running. If I let my foot hang over onto the belt at all the belt easily ground off the sole very fast. At first I couldn't figure out why the sole was wearing in such odd places. Now that I know, I'm just more careful and haven't sanded the soles down on the last pair.
