My stars are for the all black shoe which is much nicer than the brown shoe. I recently ordered the all black FitFlop Trak II (size 9) as a first time FitFlop buyer. When I put them on, I felt like my feet were home. The velcro allowed for a perfect fit to walk without losing the shoe or arching my toes. I could slide them on and off since the leather was nice and smooth over my foot. And light! I liked them so much, I just ordered a pair of the brown in size 9 and it was a different shoe. Hard sole, too small lengthwise, and scratchy mesh over the top of my foot instead of smooth leather. I'll keep the black ones but returned the brown since they were clearly inferior.

I wear a 10.5D and ordered a 10. These fitflops are reasonably comfortable and will definitely stay on regardless of what you are doing thanks to the adjustable straps. The soles are very cushy and are a little too thick and soft at this price point for my preference but this design appears to be focused on keeping the sandals light and airy, which they certainly are. Simple and unique design and they look really good with jeans on. I have fairly tan skin tone so these make a nice contrast. Would buy this style again if it came with a slightly more slim, tougher, and perhaps a little more heavy/rugged in-sole and out-sole. They have the comfort and convenience of flip flops, they stay on,they look great, and i would categorize them as a hybrid of casual/active footwear.

I am so disappointed with these shoes. My husband wears size 11 and we tried that size first, but the shoes were way too long. They stuck out so far from the ends of his toes in the front that he could barely walk without tripping. So next we tried size 10 and they were better in the front, but his heel was hanging over the edge in the back! Really, he has very average, normal feet and does not normally have trouble finding shoes that fit. That was ridiculous, I cannot believe that Fitflop can make millions of options for women but men have this one style to choose from in the thong style (and only one or two other sandal styles, period). Zappos, however, has been great as usual.

The fit, finish and look was great. The biggest issue was that the thong piece that rides between your toes cut the ever-living poo out of my middle and big toe to the point that it was literally bleeding the next day after just a short walk in these. Wow, for something that fits well otherwise this was so beyond unacceptable. This was the first day of vacation no less, so the rest of our resort stay was without open toe shoe options and with some badly banged up feet. Just awful!

Weird fit and cushioning. Sole material seemed to cushion unevenly and exaggerated pronation, toe piece rubbed painfully between first two toes and made walking painful in ball of one of my feet. Not right for my feet at all, but that may just be me. Not recommended. Returned ‘em.

Overall fit and foot support was adequate. The problem involved a thick leather piece where the thong fits between 1st and 2nd toe. This piece was incredibly uncomfortable, even painful. Most flip flops use a narrower folded fabric piece between the toes. I expected more from a $90 pair of flip flops so returned these immediately.
