Shoes are comfortable and feel like you are wearing bedroom slippers. They do not have enough cushion for walking in for 12 plus hours a day. My feet were hurting by lunch time.

Just got my size 6, one size larger than I got last time. I'd read that the back rim bothered a reviewer and it did for me as well. But I thought since I have a pair of size six nurse's clogs built with that rim, perhaps the larger size would make it easier to adjust to it. I believe this is the problem. If you get this shoe on the small side the heel rim will rub your foot and feel "in the way". If you order the larger size you'll probably be happy with it. They don't have a gazillion popular colors for nothing. Nurses must love this shoe. One thing, not as much arch support as say, the classic.

After 3 foot surgeries and *7* knee surgeries, "Alegria" KAYLA professional shoes were suggested by my pain management physician. I was skeptical but I ordered them. Zappos, is, of course the best and I knew I could return them if I needed to. Let me say that I now have THREE pair of Alegria. They are incredibly comfortable, look great, give amazing stability and I can literally walk for hours in these UNLIKE ANY OTHER SHOE I have owned!The matt black is my go-to, the bulls-eye is my everyday fun shoe and the country strong is my newest. I cannot speak of the other Alegria shoes with the totally closed backs or any other styles. But the KAYLA PROFESSIONAL shoes, I feel are the best ever. Give it a try!

I couldn't get my foot inside shoe to try it because of my arch. The shoe not good if you have a high arch. Will try another Alegria because they're well made.

Just switched to 12 hour shifts, 7 days on, 7 off, and found that my heels ached by the third or fourth day. Alegria shoes are the answer! The arch support and cushioning is just what I need to keep me going through a very long week.

I bought this for my teenager daughter who loves them. She has flat feet but these don't bother her at all. I would definitely buy this brand again.

I ordered a size bigger as the other reviews said and they were still to small. Am going to try next size bigger and wider! I love Alegria's!

I should have listened to the reviews and ordered a size up. I normally wear a size 7 and these are nowhere close to that size. I could fit into them but not with any socks on which is not a good idea as a nurse. They do provide a lot of cushion for my heels which helps since I have plantar fasciitis. Thankfully, the free returns and fast shipping makes getting the next size up a breeze!

I work 12 hour shifts in a busy ED and these shoes feel great all night long.

Besides being flat footed, I have several medical issues with my feet, which makes it extremely difficult to find shoes. Because I was so pleased with these shoes, I bought another similar pair.

I wore these shoes for many 12 hour shifts for 3 years until I literally rubbed a hole in the leather. I over-pronate when I walk, so a bit of the leather touches the ground. I loved them so much, I never wanted to say goodbye. Not only were they comfortable, but I also got compliments on them almost everyday. I wish they would come up with vegan version, as I got them only a few months before I stopped wearing leather.

Love this shoe. I am on my feet all day and these shoes are really comfortable. The only problem I have is I have a very high arch and they run narrow so the rim at the very top is taking some time to break in, but other than that, I wouldn't change a thing. Love the look, feel and support.

Comfortable, supportive shoe. I purchased this shoe to use as a house shoe. I am on my feet a lot, particularly in the kitchen, and need support to prevent pain in my hips due to bursitis and feet due to a crushed toe that has never fully healed. I also work from home, so need something that looks reasonably professional when clients or vendors stop by. This simply designed, supportive shoe fits the bill. Nice arch support, plenty of room in the toes, and a heel cup that keeps it on. For reference, I have narrow feet without swelling and many supportive shoes are much to wide for me.

Cut very small. I am an 9.5 and the 40 was too small. 41 fit. Lots of cushioning. Keeping the 41. Like wearing slippers. Havent worn yet for a shift (I am a nursing student) but tried about 8 shoes and this is one of the two I decided to keep. Pretty wide I have bunions and a narrow heel

Oh my goodness, these shoes are comfortable! I work 15 hour shifts in an ER spending much time on my feet. I've had problems with foot, knee and back pain because of the long hours on my feet. I've only had these shoes a short time, but they're extremely comfortable, have great arch support and so far, at the end of a shift, my feet and knees do not hurt. I've been wearing Merrell Encore Pro Slides for the past few years, and I will say the nonslip soles of those shoes are better than these, but the Kaylas have greater support, padding and general comfort. I didn't find the padded collar at at the heal uncomfortable; however, the Merrell is similarly made. I actually find the padded collar helps stabilize the heal and keep the shoe secure on my feet. In addition to all this, these shoes are gorgeous! They were so much prettier in person - very shiny, almost iridescent. I'd definitely buy them again and would recommend them to a friend.

I have small, wide feet with a high arch, a bunion & planter's fasciitus! - Full podiatric disclosure :) First, these are a prefect size 5 fit and there is comfortable support. Second, they are so cool looking.

Great Shoes, but I need to exchange. A 37 is NOT a 7-7.5. No Way!

I can't believe I've never tried this brand before! Very comfortable and cute floral design. $30 coupon wasn't too shabby either. Started a new job and needed better nursing shoes. They were shipped super fast too.

Really like this shoe. Fits right and feels great on. Helps my knee. Since I have flat, flat feet the wide is perfect.

Very comfortable shoe. Required no break in period and I am on my feet for 9-12 hour urgent care shifts.

I LOVE these Algeria, these shoes are true to size, so comfortable, I work all night on my feet and these feel like slippers. I also get many compliments on the style and colors.

This is my first experience with the Alegria brand and I love them. The Kayla Professional in Cathedral is both beautiful and feels like a dream on my feet. I had a coworker who wore the Alegria brand and she raved about them. Now I understand why and I will be recommending them to my nurse friends. It works perfectly even though I have a high arch (cannot wear Dansko). I am planning to get another pair, maybe heels or sandals!

I have wide feet with a high arch but a long one. So I have a very hard time finding shoes. I stand for 8 hours a day and I have to have slip/skid resistant. My first pair was Alegria Keli and I love them. So I decided to try these and the only thing I see is I'm gonna have to stretch them a little. My next pair is Keli Night Rosette.

Much smaller than I expected. I normally wear an 8 or 8.5. Other reviews said the shoe runs small so I ordered 8/8.5 AND 9/9.5. Both were too small so I am returning both. Will probably order size 10/10.5 next. Shoes looked great and had a nice feel too them. Too bad I'll have to wait to try on the next size up.
