I bought these for my daughter who has extremely wide feet. She is in the 6th grade and loves that the shoe is fashionable. The sole has cushioning and the durable rubber bottom. They let her feet breathe but the downside was the back of the shoe dug into ankles. At the end of the day they weren't so comfy. I still recommend the shoes to others who need extra wide sizing but just for light walking. We bought some pads and it has helped. But for the price I was hoping these basic ballet shoes would cover all bases.

I got these specifically b/c Hush Puppies are known for their comfort. The elastic around the edge and the cushion just didn't meet expectations for this brand.

I was looking for a wide width shoe for walking, however I found this shoe's sole not thick enough or supportive enough to absorb shock from walking on concrete (traveling/sightseeing). They also slipped up on the heel and were very uncomfortable. I could feel my heel being rubbed harshly with only a few steps. It also rubbed harshly along my pinky toe. I had to return them.

I am sad to say that these will have to go back. Despite all the positive reviews, I felt that these were very uncomfortable. The sole is nice and squishy, but due to the elastic and hard leather in the heel I would have cut heels and blisters nearly immediately. BUT if you are looking for something similar, check out Sam Edelman Felicia which is what I ended up keeping.

These shoes have a lot going for them. I like the color and style, they fit well (1/2 size larger than my normal), have a bit of cushion and support and the price is nice. But for me, they are painful in the heel/ankle area and the texture of the foot bed feels kind of funny. I don't want to take the risk of it not getting better as they break in so I'll be sending them back. Bummer.

I wish the sole of the shoe was wider. I feel like the sides of the shoe don't come up far enough on my foot because my foot is wider than the sole, even though I ordered a WW. They are very comfortable despite this and don't cut into the top of my foot like a lot of shoes this style do.

I bought these in the cognac, and they are really cute. I'm a 7.5 in length but with bunions. The 7.5 wide fit on my foot, but the back really dug into my heel (sharp pain). One size up (size 8) might work. They didn't feel very cushiony or supportive to me; this may be true for all ballet flats (I don't have any, so I don't know), but for me, even if they didn't hurt my heel, I don't think they'd be great for walking more than about a block or two.

These shoes are really cute but didn't fit my feet well due to my wide feet. I would recommend these shoes.

Bought this shoe last year in another color. Love it - comfortable and cute! Unfortunately it is made narrower in the front this year. Although it is sold as a wide, it is not!

These are more comfortable than the Sam Edelman's that everyone raves about. And compared to about 100 shoes that I've tried for comfort/wide toe box (seriously), they are better than most. I got these in an 8.5 which is my true size though I usually wear a 9 to get extra width. These feel just a bit tight at the big toe yet a bit slippy in the heel. Sadly, I think I have to go to a custom made shoe as these still don't have wiggle room in the front. Sparkles aren't really my thing and these had more bling than I'd like but I could see these being good for someone looking for a cute flat for night.

I really wanted these shoes to work for me, but they did not. The 6 extra wide was a perfect width for my very wide feet (with a bunion on one foot and surgery on the other), but the heel chafed my heels raw after wearing them around the bedroom for just a few minutes. They stretchy material that they sew on around the edge is to blame, I think. So sad!

These are just okay. For the price, I expected more (and have received more in other shoes). They feel like a cheap $49 pair of flats and I would probably keep them if they were around that price. The leather is nothing special - the shiny black feels more like plastic. The fit was fine and seems true to size. The heel kept slipping off on me and after sitting there with them on for a few minutes I felt like my feet were suffocating, and I couldn't imagine a day of going through all that, so I am sending them back.

I liked the style and the arch support. Unfortunately, there is a piece of leather in the back over the elastic that rubs into the back of my heel. I am afraid that wearing them for any length of time would result in a blister on my heel. Other than that, they were much more comfortable than the other ballet flats I have tried.

These are beautiful shoes! I really liked the look, but was worried that they would not hold up as they are canvas with rhinestones on them. Had they been at a lower price point I probably would have given them a try, but this is too much for fabric shoes. They seem to run a hair smaller and narrower than marked.

I bought these because I needed simple black flats that could go with anything at work, but also wouldn't kill my feet. I have a ballet flat that is wearing out and has zero support, and wanted something more substantial. This mostly fits the bill. It has some arch support and the wide is wide enough for my foot. However the elastic at the back, as many other reviewers have noted, really digs in and is painful after awhile. I kept wearing them anyway and the pain has gone, so I guess it's a matter of wearing them in and perhaps using Bandaids the first few times you wear them.

This is a sad day. I wanted SO much to enjoy these shoes in the Cognac Leather color. I had finally found a shoe for wide feet at half the price of Tieks (in Chestnut color). But upon trying them on, they pinched the front top of my foot and especially my heel. I didn't want to admit defeat. I walked from one end of the house to the other. I took one off and kept trying on one other shoe in my closet to compare, thinking that if I could put up with my other shoes, I could put up with these. But no, all my other shoes, no matter how uncomfortable, were not this uncomfortable. I don't think time would have made a difference. I will have to return them. I will admit that my foot is seriously wide, and the WW (EE) size does fit, but maybe it pinches me more than it would a person with a normal foot width. I think it's just the design of the part with the elastic. It's not soft, but more hard. The leather on the outside is also not very soft. I just can't take that chance. It doesn't matter how beautiful a shoe is if I cannot wear it ever. Just a heads up to those of you with wide feet.

Beautiful shoe, excellent padding for the insole but runs short. Heel is too tight and rubs on wrong spot.

Size 9 felt more like 8 1/2. I would ordinarily do an exchange for the next size up, but I found the elastic running around the top edge of the shoe to be coarse and uncomfortable.

Color was a little different than pictured, more pink flesh tone. Not nearly comfy enough. I also got a similar shoe, the Born Julianne one, and decided to keep it. It had a more comfortable foot bed than this one.

These shoes are so cute in a minimalist way; it was just the style I was looking for, but, sadly, the shoes were way too small. I usually wear a 6-6.5, so I ordered a 6.5. I could put the shoe on, but it was not pretty! I think I will re-order, though, because this style is just what I want. I have wide feet with narrow heels, so most flats fly off my feet. I thought the elastic around the top would help eliminate that problem. So, these go back, with much sadness.

Good looking shoe but was too wide for me, and my foot isn't really that narrow. Also the lining on the bottom of the shoe is weird and uncomfortable.

Bought these for my 13 yo daughter and tried them on myself (we wear the same size). We both felt that we were going to get painful blisters on the backs of our heels if we wore the shoes more than two minutes. Sad because 10W is not an easy size to find in cute shoes.

These shoes are so pretty, I tried them on and they actually fit my wide feet. I have been looking for pretty ballet shoes for my wide size 11 feet and thought these were it. I felt comfortable so wore them out and they were terrible! My ankles hurt so badly around the back. I wish that I could return them now I just have to hope that I can stretch them out enough to where it does not hurt. The elastic material just grabs at your ankle it hurts a lot. I have had other Hush Puppies before and they were great, I wish that I would not have worn them out because these are deceiving.
