I've owned these for a year, and worn them only a few times. Every time I do, I regret it because these are the most excrutiatingly painful flats I've ever owned. They're beautiful shoes - the leather seems nice, the color is lovely, the footbed seems like it would be comfortable. The body of the shoe fits relatively well, but the elastic is so aggressively tight that it leaves marks at the front of my foot, and welts at the heel, where it really digs in. I've tried bending them backwards to stretch out the elastic, but with no success, so they're still basically unwearable.

They squeaked very loudly with every step so I had to return them!

This shoe is dull looking. More like a slipper. No arch support! Returning.

I was excited to get these shoes based on the fact that I got a different pair of Hush Puppies recently that are fantastic. I don't know how to explain the feel of the material except to say that they are sort of like pleathery card stock. The other pair of Hush Puppies I got have the softest leather and are so comfortable. Hush Puppies People, if you read this, try again with a super soft upper and a little elastic in the heal for a snug fit.

These are just a little too small. I'm not sure if they would stretch after wear and actually end up perfect, but I'm afraid to take the chance. Becuase of the leather stretching, I'm not sure if these are 1/2 size or a full size too small. My big toe is really pushing against the toe area in an unflattering way. Otherwise, I really like these shoes, they are really cute and I like the elasticized back around the heel. I would try these again in the next size up when they are back in stock.

Overall, I love these shoes! They did rub a little on my ankle the first day. Also, the gold on the shoe is a bit shiny, and I didn’t love that. True Hush Puppies feel!

These are great looking and the wide width fit beautifully. However, in seeing the design in person, it was clear that the hide would wear out at the bottom sides as they were almost level with the bottom sole. If this had a slightly higher base to get the hide away from dragging on the ground, they would be perfect.

Love my new Hush Puppies. I had a pair of these that I wore forever, but they finally wore out. So this is my second pair of the shoe. They fit well, look great, and are light to carry in my bag. Got both the leather and the cloth version. Very happy with them.

These shoes fit great and are pretty comfortable for ballet flats. I have them in black and needed something in British Tan to match a handbag. The cognac color looked perfect, but they were nowhere near the color as pictured. I know everyone’s monitor is different, so I looked at them in my tablet as well. I’m sad I have to return these.

I bought these for my daughter who has long, narrow feet. It's difficult to find ballet flats that actually stay on her feet. Finding these in a narrow width was fantastic. The fact that they curl up on itself a bit due to the elastic in the opening, in addition to the narrow width, make these the best fit for her that we've found in ballet flats. The shoes are fairly comfortable with decent padding on the footbed. A fair amount of shock absorption for ballet flats. I would buy these for her again.

It may feel half a size larger than even the half size down. Don't worry . Order on the low end size-wise and expect it to feel a bit loose until it really starts to conform. I am wearing out the pair I bought last winter. This is the shoe I slip on with all things when I need to go. Whether in the house or out. Nice flat, good on the wide-fit. Good sole for not slipping. Not slipping is really a key to ballerina-grace, is it not? So, I'm writing this review while ordering a few more pair. Don't worry if it feels a bit loose at first, This shoe will conform nicely to your foot. It interferes with foot motion not at all. The best thing next to going barefoot and also looking girlish. I do like this shoe. My first pair was red.

Fits really well. My usual size is a 12. A really cute shoe, and the leather feels soft and accommodating. My right foot is very flat and pronates, so I am not sure how this will work for me long term, but I still liked it enough to pick up the leopard style also.

Very cute. Slight rubbing on little toe and top foot on one foot but maybe that's just my foot. Color is perfect - just the right shade. I really like them

I have a wide foot and bought my size. They fit perfectly and are so comfortable. I'm going to get additional colors.

This is my third pair of hush puppies and they are great for office attire. They are pretty comfortable. My feet are wide and the wide width fit perfect. I would recommend with jeans or dress pants. Very cute.

These are a beautiful deep red color. A more substantial ballet flat with more cushioning in the insole than most ballet flats. Slight arch support. I wear a 6 medium and they fit like a 6M. All leather and leather insole.

Over the years, I have found it harder and harder to find comfortable shoes with my now WW size and bunions. I had almost given up on finding some quick, slip-on flats. I was very happy with this shoe and bought the same in 2 more colors. The front of the shoes covered my bunions comfortably and the width was surprisingly perfect. Only had a bit of a pinch from the elastic around the top, but feel that will improve with wear.

I don’t buy flats for arch support. If My need was arch support I would purchase shoes with somewhat of a heel. Unfortunately any amount of heal effects my knee poorly. I am not fond of paying the sometimes steeper prices at Zappos, but the service excellence, packaging, convenience cannot be rivaled!

These feel like slippers. They mold to your feet and are true to size. Happy that W width is available!

Finding shoes that feet my feet is extremely hard. My right foot is an 8-1/2 wide and my left foot is an 8 medium. So needless to say I have to buy 8-1/2 wide shoes for my right foot and then the left shoe is always too loose. These shoes are perfect. The leather is soft and flexible giving my right foot the comfort it needs and the stretchy elastic sides of the shoe help the left shoe not feel so loose that it's going to fall off. I'm so happy with these shoes.

Classy and dressy without being over the top. A great dressy alternative to heels

This my second time buying this shoe, and I got it two colors. It's one of the few shoes that reliably fit my 8WW feet, with a forefoot that's wide enough but with a heel that is normal size. It takes a couple times to wear in, as the elasticized heels are stiff to start, but then they feel great.

The chaste ballet is a favorite of mine. I have the cognac leather and know how comfortable and a go-to shoe it can be. I wear it with business suits, dresses, jeans. It is very versatile. The only drawback is that it is a shoe I have had to break in. The first couple of wears may rub the heel or that big toe bone right where the trimming falls. Once it is worn in though, it is a go to. The built in, slightly padded insole is comfortable and actually massages the feet. It is value for money. I have had my first pair for a number of years and decided to get a black one because of my experience with it. If it is like the cognac leather, use an oil polish to treat the leather over time. You will have this shoe for years to come.

I have two pairs of these flats and I love them both! They are comfortable, flattering to my wide foot, and look good with just about any pants. For a ballet flat, they are wearing pretty well.
