I am a volunteer forest ranger in the southern California mountains need a reliable jacket for those cool morning when I patrol hiking trails. I love the Mighty Lite jacket so much that I now own two of them. One in black for the city and one in Red for the backcountry. This jacket is so comfortable that it gives you the sensation of being in a warm sleeping bag without all the bulkiness. It's light enough that you can shove into a daypack. The sleeves and body of the jacket are slightly long to prevent gaps where cold wind can creep in, not to mention the comfort cuffs are indeed comfy. What I like most about the Mighty Lite jacket is the range in motion which is needed when moving through dense brush. The black jacket is attractive enough to wear to work or out to dinner. I'm 5'8" and 145 lbs. I ordered size M.

This jacket runs just a bit tight. I purchased a size small, which is my normal size, and have just enough room. Jacket is warm, but wouldn't wear it in weather colder than 40 degrees. This jacket is very light-weight and the color riptide is bright and shiny.

I was looking for a lightweight yet warm puffer style jacket that would not make me look like a marshmallow. This coat delivered everything I wanted. This coat is extremely lightweight and has an attractive slimming cut. The fabric does not get crunchy and I like the very faint plaid detailing on it. The Vapor Blue color I selected feels trendy. I've worn this coat for a couple weeks now and find it to be plenty warm enough for most Vermont winter days. Regarding sizing, I'm 5' 4" and usually wear a 12. The L is roomy enough to wear a sweater but not so roomy as to wish I had sized down. I like the length as well, which for me falls below the hip but I am short waisted. I do agree with reviewers who said that the sleeves are too long. The sleeves measure 23in (armpit to wrist) which is a full 3in too long for me. I roll them up which exposes the gray lining. I don't mind this because it is the same gray lining that shows on the inside of the zipper area when the coat is not fully zipped. I really like how the interior cuffs with the thumb holes keep your wrists covered when your glove and cuff separate. Overall, very happy with this coat.

Great jacket for it's warmth yet thin enough that it doesn't make you look over sized. The hand extensions replace the need for gloves. The zipper pockets both on the inside and out are a perfect design for keeping things safe. I like this jacket so much that I'm purchasing another. Only complaint is the color selection is not to my taste or accurate and I've returned 2 for black.

Love the looks of this jacket. Riptide color is amazing! Haven't really had a chance to test the warmth. Hope it as warm as the reviews say it is.

This jacket is warm but very comfortable light in weight. The sleeves were just a little short so the thumb holes didn't fit perfectly, but other than that it fits great! Also, it really doesn't get too hot, making it an easy choice for a whole range of temperatures.

I ordered this jacket in the blue vapor and the color is just as beautiful in person as in the photo. The jacket is super light and thin but is quite warm. I ended up having to exchange it for a smaller size, as it does run a little large. I normally wear a size 8-10 and usually wear a medium; unfortunately, I looked like a blue marshmallow in the medium but the small fit perfectly. I also ordered the white for my sister-in-law and ended up ordering a smaller size for her too...so my mom kept the first one for herself! Overall, we couldn't be happier (or warmer) with our three jackets. Highly recommend!

The jacket is very light and cute, it keeps me warm here in a 30 degree weather or colder if I wear a sweatshirt underneath. I got the light blue one , small. I'm 5'4, 127 lb and it fits perfectly! I might get the white one too!

I bought this one because it was cheaper than the others and seem pretty good. I completely underestimated this jacket! I am an avid Columbia shopper and have never been more impressed! It is incredibly soft, warm, and dry! First day that I got the jacket it was a sleet storm so I tested it out and didn't feel a thing! I am 5'10" and 140 lbs. I got a Medium and have enough room to wear thick hoodies underneath or don't have to wear anything but a tee. Normally I am a strict Medium. The sleeves meet right at the end of my wrist which is a miracle! The neck is a bit wide but no biggie. Also, the orange is BRIGHT! Just fyi! I strongly recommend this jacket!

I bought this for my daughter who has to stand in the cold to wait for her train. She loves this coat and says it keeps her very warm!

I was very happy when I received my jacket. It's comfortable, warm, and lightweight. The only thing I read on the reviews and agree with is that the sleeves could be a little longer. I got the xs and I am 5'1" 105 lbs and the sleeves are a little too short on me. When I have my thumbs in the thumbholes I can feel it pulling in the armpit area when I extend my arm. I won't be using that function often though.

I love this jacket! I purchased it online for it's light weight and non-bulky fit and it lives up to the description. It is very warm and I barely know I'm wearing a jacket. The fit is slightly shaped at the waist and very flattering and I think the triangular baffles are more subtle and better looking than the standard horizontal baffles. I ordered the blue vapor, which is a pretty color, slightly brighter and a little more aqua than it looks in the photo. I am 5'9", 128 lbs with broad shoulders and I usually fall in between a small and medium. In this jacket, the small fits well if you want a fitted look; I definitely don't have any extra room across the chest and back. The sleeves are a good length on me, as is the overall length.

This is a very nice, warm jacket. It is a bit more form fitting, so if you will be layering underneath, I would recommend going up a size. We have had temperatures down in the teen's here and it has kept me nice and warm. Thinking about coming back for another color before they sell out.

This is lightweight with amazing warmth. The beautiful color lights up my face and garners many compliments. I wish it were a bit shorter in body length, but that is just me.

This jacket is so warm and yet it is not bulky but very light. It does not feel like you are weighed down at all. This is the best jacket I have ever had. I love the thumb hole in the inner sleeve, it really helps keep the hands extra toasty.

Great jacket. Super warm. Fits perfect. I'm 5'9, 135. After reading the reviews I ordered a small. The sleeves are plenty long enough and it fits great in the torso. Definitely recommend this jacket.

This jacket has been a warm, comfortable mid-layer over wool base layer and under shell for cross-country skiing. It also served as mid-layer with heavier clothes for downhill ski on 2 degree day; my core stayed warm even though my toes froze. It has slim fit that works as mid-layer. The size small fit in a store, but the small I ordered was too small!. Medium works but is a little loose. "Light grape" color is a beautiful medium blue-purple.

I will be traveling to Ireland and needed a very light jacket that also kept me very warm. This jacket is extremely light, so will fit in luggage and not take up too much space. I've worn it outside on our coldest days(In Texas anyway) and am very pleased with how warm it keeps me at 30 deg and above. Those are the temps I will be dealing w/ in Ireland. I am extremely pleased with the purchase!

I bought this for my daughter, petite 5"2, 120 lbs.. We tried the small but it was too tight. The medium is a perfect fit. She loves the lightweight feel and heat reflective interior. The service was prompt. We will order again from Columbia.

Love it. lightweight, not bulky, great color. I stuck with a small when I should have maybe got a medium so I won't be able to layer much since its a bit form fitting but so far kept me very warm in 40-50 degree weather. Haven't been in colder temps yet. I liked this better than the Patagonia Nano puff. The Columbia actually seemed much better made.

I live in Chicago and this jacket is perfect. I love the new Omni-heat technology. I found that this jacket starts reflecting the heat back almost immediately and keeps me toasting warm. I am also very impressed with lightness and fit of the jacket. I have broad shoulders and most of the coats that I own are very restrictive in this area but not this jacket. I have plenty of room to move and it still fits correctly. One of my better purchases. :-)

Very light...and so far has been warm. Don't know as yet how it will do below 30, but I wore it on a windy cold day, ans it was great.

The Blue Vapor color is gorgeous and the jacket is warm. There has been only one instance where I wasn't warm enough and I am not sure what was going on to make that so. Even with that I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

Thank you Columbia for producing such a perfect jacket. I'm 5 feet 8 inches and weigh 145 with an active/cyclist build. I ordered the blue vapor color in size small and it fits perfectly! I've worn it while biking to work in temps down to 38 degrees (so far), with only a thin long sleeve t-shirt underneath. I do not recommend wearing this with short sleeve shirts as the omni heat material will stick to your skin once your body heat rises. I have a heavier, hooded version of this jacket from last year and am planning to donate it and purchase another Mighty Lite.
