I've had four pairs of these now - wore the first two pairs out completely (although it took a couple of years). I keep one pair for good, anduseonepairfor mucking, muddy riding days, and general chores. They have great traction, I can walk/stand all day in them if I need to, and they transition right into the saddle, no problem. I wear them with half-chaps for English lessons, and with jeans for working cows. All of them have been waterproof until the seams wear out, and they clean up well, too. Definitely worth the price. (I just wish they still came in dark grey/charcoal!)

I own a pair of these wonderful shoes and bought a pair for each of my sisters. The shoe is versatile and comfortable. There is plenty ofroomfor heavy socks during winter. Ihope that Ariat doesn'tchange the design.

Comfortable in or out of the saddle. Don't change them. Sizing is large bought one size smaller - then a perfect fit.

Very comfortable and protects my feet around the barn while working. I don't use them for riding, prefer my Ariat bootsthat slip on.

I have had my terrain boots for three years now, and even after wearing them 6 days a week, many times for most of theday, they are in perfectcondition andare ascomfortable as any shoe I've ever worn! Idon't have the waterproof version, but they are decently water resistant. The traction is excellent, and they also are pretty cool in the summer time. Excellent boot! Definitely worth the money!

We love to purchase Terrains for all referred campers (who wear adult-sizes) at All The King's Horses. They are the most comfortable, versitile, and well-madeproduct we havefound and they look good, too. Everyone who tries them loves them.

I have a pair of these that are 7 years old. I wear them almost daily through the autumn, winter and spring. The only wear that they show are onthe bottomand a few scuffs.Theyhave seen plenty of mud, snow, rain and rough handling and still they are more comfortable than my slippers. I will definitly buy another pair soon.

I currently have three pairs of these boots and will keep buying them as they wear out. Comfortable to wear all day everyday. I wear them atthefarm iworkat cleaning stalls and lunging horses. Have also worn them riding and they fit in the stirrup well and are good for hiking. Light and sturdy. also wear these standing on concrete all day and my feet don't hurt. These boots have never given me blisters either. No break in time.

I just bought these because my physical therapist told me I needed supportive shoes when I was going to be standing allday. These supportmy ankle andfeetand look great.I can wear them with slacksor jeans(I got the cordovan color) and I think they will clean up well from mud or snow. I don't mind the cost as they are well made and will last.

I have a weak ankle and the steel shank helps to keep me from rolling my ankle. They provide great stability for me.

I have looked for many years for a comfortable boot for riding my horses and walking around caring for them. These boots are the answer. My riding partnerlet metry her'soneday when my horse stompedmy foot(while wearing tennis shoes) and I immediately ordered myself a pair. They are the most comfortable, supportive boot I've ever ridden in. Plenty of room for my wide foot, My feet and toes don't go numb from pressure anymore. They are great for walking around in. My feet don't hurt like they did in my cowgirl boots. I'm going to order another pair in Black asap. I highly recommend the Terrain for whatever you're doing.

I bought these boots originally to wear while sidewalking with riders at a therapeutic riding facility. They were perfect for handling all of thosewalkingmiles and even allowedme to easily hop in thesaddle toworka horse. Next, my Terrains were my obvious choice to wear when volunteering at the 2010 World Equestrian Games where I knew I would be standing in the dressage arena all day long. And now, in a week and a half, my boots will make the trip to Machu Picchu where they will get a taste of the Andes mountains- I have no doubt they will feel great!

These boots are fantastic! I bought them for working and riding at my barn. I walk through slush, mud and dirt, everything with them. I bought thelighttanpair 2summersago, which have since turned muddy brown. They are specifically great because they are super comfortable, I wear them up to 10 hours a day in the summer, and they are more comfortable than my Nikes. I also really like that they fit into both english and western stirrups, which means I can work, then ride both disciplines in the same day! They are secure, though they fit my narrow feet a tad wide. The durability is incredible, especially considering I can hose them off, go through mud, get stepped on, and they have only scuff marks, no tears or fraying. Literally the only complaint I have is that they stained and that they are not very attractive, but I can live with that! You won't regret buying these boots!

I absolutely loves these, couldn't wait for them to arrive. I have a couple of pair in brown! I have been looking forblack and here they were. Now Ineedanotherpair tokeepon the shelf! I usuallyalways have anew pair of brown, just in case I haven't had time to polish the pair I'm wearing. Being non-traditional in the line of work I do, I like my boots to match the tops I wear, my husband has to laugh! I have gotten a few of the other females that work out doors that now wear the same brand, they love them as well. Don't ever quit making them, at least not until I retire! Excellent womens foot wear.

Rarely do I find a pair of shoes or boots that I go out to buy a second pair! I wear them everyday. The first pair I bought several years ago and Istill havenot worn themout, but they now look prettywellloved asmy primary barn, mucking and trail riding boots. The second pair I bought a few months ago to use everywhere else (except to the Opera) so that I have one pair of "clean" boots that does not smell like the barn. These boots run a little larger and wider than normal american sizing, and I usually wear a 9-D, but for my ARIAT terrains I tried on the first pair and ended up surprisingly with the 8.5 Medium. They broke in to my feet with no rubbing or cramping. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these boots. Great for riding, hiking and camping, gardening- anything outdoorsy that needs rugged footwear. They are really well made, durable, tough and surprisingly water resistant. In the winter, I wear "smart wool" socks with them and my feet stay plenty warm (and it can get really COLD here). Best boots ever.
