Beautiful color, highest quality leather. Unfortunately, the buckle hits me right on the ankle bone. Sadly, these will have to go back.

I wanted to keep this so badly, I love the look but the fit is off. While the length is fine, the corner of my big toes migrate off the footbed as I walk. The footbed is cut more narrow in the toes than my much loved Carson T-Strap, which I still have from a few years ago. Too bad, they're cool looking sandals. The congac color also doesn't work with my pale, pink skin, so I went for black. As much as I want to keep these, for the price, they need to be perfect. Returned :(

Good looking sandal, but the front is pointed in the center, meaning that your big toe goes off the inside edge of the shoe. The front should have a more natural foot shape. Also, I wear a Size 8, but always order a Size 8.5 when buying a Frye shoe. This shoe barely fit. They are being returned.

I wanted these to be perfect, but there was just way too much material. I don't know if my ankles are super small, but all the heel straps were just too much. there was weird gaping and it just seemed strange. The seemed very well made though, as expected, just the fit was completely off for my foot.

As much as I love Frye boots, I wanted to make these sandals happen; they're just not for me. My foot's not wide, yet the inner edges of my big toes hang off the left toe edge a little. Definitely for someone 1.) who has big toes angled outward slightly or 2.) whose toes don't spread too far across. There's zero arch support, so a slightly-pronating foot (like mine) probably needs a little more footbed. Aside from my personal quirks, these sandals are classy and well-made.

I wanted to like these. Just returned from Paris and everyone is wearing this type of flat sandal. For me, it's just too uncomfortable with the flat bottom, no support and not flexible. When I walked around the house, my kids came running down an asked what that weird noise was? I said it was me walking in these shoes. They said I sounded like a horse! Back they go!

I get that there is a whole cult of Frye but I guess I just don't worship there. I wanted simple yellow sandals, saw these (on sale and still v-e-r-y $$$ for such simple sandals) and thought I'd try them. I was really surprised how little support they offered (given all the oohs and aahs over Frye). Additionally, in real life the yellow read too muted, appearing more natural with yellow leanings than a true yellow. So that's nice and subtle, but I was after Yellow Sandals. A Plus: the thong (the piece in between the toes) was smooth, so no discomfort there. A Minus: slightly small, not a full half-size smaller, but clearly on the smaller size. I ultimately returned these because for this amount of money I expect sandals to provide (any) arch support (like in Gentle Souls).

I ordered a 10 at first, since that's what I take in Frye boots, but re-ordered the 9-1/2, and that fit better. I ordered the brown-and-black the first time, but the colors were not the same as in the picture. The 2nd time I ordered the red, hoping it would be a rich, dark red like my Frye hobo bag. But it was more of a monochrome, bright red. So again, the color was disappointing. When I walked around the house in the pair that fit, my foot kept sliding sideways. So I returned them and bought something for 1/3 the price from another brand. The all-adjustable straps and heel box were nice, but for the money the leather should be richer and the shoes more stable.

I ordered the black-and-brown, but when it came, the soles and the brown straps were the same color -- so only 2 colors, not 3 as in the picture. I buy 9-1/2 or 10 in Frye boots, and my feet are on the widish side. The 9-1/2 was long. I'm going to try again in a nine, hoping for color accuracy and Better length. Great quality.

Wanted to love this sandal, bed the cut of the foot bed is way too narrow and I do not have wide feet. My big toe hangs off the side by 1/4 inch. It's a beautiful sandal and I'm sad that I have to return it. Frye should try making the foot bed a 1/4 inch wider to accommodate the toe spread.

First of all, I was sent the wrong color of sandal which wouldn't have been an issue, but the sandal is just too narrow. The first pair I ordered and returned seemed a full size too small. I reordered, and although this length is fine, the width is amazingly too narrow. I've never had a problem with width. Perhaps it's this particular style. As I'm reading reviews of other brands on this style of sandal, the width seems to be an issue.

Insanely narrow. I don't have narrow feet but my big toe was hanging 1/4 of the way off and the arch of my foot nearly touched the ground. Not a cute look.

I am a huge fan of Frye boots and shoes. However, these sandals had to be sent back. While beautiful, they seemed to run small, and generally just didn't fit my feet well.

These sandals look great and the foot bed is comfortable, but they didn't quite work for me. I thought by adding another hole in the strap they would tighten up around my narrow feet and be just perfect. Unfortunately, no matter which hole I buckle the strap with, the back strap rubs my heal uncomfortably.

Beautiful shoe in the blue color, nice leather with seemingly good construction. Problem was footbed under the ball of the foot seemed narrow to the point that my feet were hanging over the edge. I probably would have written the review saying they run small but this area stood out to me since the rest seemed to fit well. I was looking forward to wearing them but they have to go back and I have to keep looking for my goto summer shoe.

I love this color - love the sandal - I want to love it on my foot - but the footbed is just not the right shape. I tried a 1/2 size larger hoping it would give a little more room in the toe area but no luck. Sadly I'll have to return it.

NOT MEDIUM AT ALL! It's the sole of the shoe that is wayyyy, super narrow. I've never put on a sandal that had half my big toe touching the ground. It's like the part that goes between the big toe and second toe is too far over. I am so disappointed because this sandal is beautiful. Sending back right now.

I wanted to like this sandal really bad. It is very stylish and the color selection is great. However, the leather is very hard and uncomfortable. I liked that I could adjust the straps to make it fit better on my wide feet, but there was no goring to make it more comfortable. The straps that covered the back of my foot were very stiff and the sole was very slippery. After I tried it on, I couldn't bear to keep it on my feet too long - it just didn't feel like a sandal should. These are going back to Zappos. Thank goodness for free shipping both ways!

Cute sandal but the buckle hits my ankle where it rubs with every step. I was ad to return them. I wear a 6.5 and have thin feet. I usually love Fryes but not these sandals.

This stretched terribly. It ended up being a bad yet expensive purchase; I bought these sandals several years ago; had them resoled and they finally wore out; I loved them. But when I bought this new pair the leather was stretched out within a month and I was in deep trouble - they are too floppy to wear and walk in for long periods. Frye really took the money and ran on this one! Not their usual quality. Not sure what happened.

The buckle falls right over my ankle bone and causes discomfort. I have to return them. Otherwise, they are a gorgeous sandal. I'm very disappointed that they didn't work out.

This was the perfect red, summer sandal except for the buckle. It was difficult, the prong was not long enough, my husband had to buckle them therefore he hated them, and I dreaded taking them off because of the difficulty of the buckle. I shouldn't have to suffer this much to look nice. And they were so overpriced for what I got, never mind the buckle. I was willing to pay, but I cannot wear color and style if they will not buckle without effort.
