Briggs and Riley are the only way to go if you travel frequently. Spend the money and don't look back.

This is a great suitcase! Was purchased for our daughter as a gift. She already had the carry on model. So many carefully thought out ways to store your belongings for travel. However, once we put clothing and 5 pairs of shoes to fit the space without compacting and without toiletries, it weighed 46 pounds! So I will sadly return to avoid the extra poundage airline charges.

I own the wide-body carry-on of this line and love it. I replace luggage "as it breaks" and with Briggs and Riley, they repair it for free, so that won't be necessary. So when my current upright zipper broke, I decided to replace it with this OR the medium size Baseline upright. I decided to go with the medium, as this one is SO large I was fairly certain it would be hard to not go over the airline weight limit with it! But if you have no fear of going over the weight limit, this would be a great suitcase to hold enough clothing for two weeks...it's huge! For us...we sent this one back and kept the medium.

Pros - very attractive and rolls smoothly. Very well made. I travel via air about 20 times a year and so far after six months it's holding up well. Lightweight. Cons - HATE that the zipper zips open to the opposite size of 99 percent of all other suitcases. Maybe great if you're left-handed. Expandable feature is funky. The adjustability factor of it seemed like a great idea, but when you press down to close the bag, the mechanism doesn't stay in place and reverts to the smaller size setting, so you have to open up the bag again and re-position the mechanism. (If you look at the picture, it's the gray plastic box inside the suitcase & each side has one.)
