Awesome! Usually with a carry on there are 2 very hard bars on the bottom...this does not have that increasing the room inside by at least 30% for packing.

Best suitcase I've ever owned. Very study construction. Lighter weight than most. Doesn't tip over when full. Easy to maneuver with around busy airports. I can pack a full week's worth of clothes and extra pair of sneakers in here. Never had a problem getting this into overhead storage either. Meets the latest FAA 2014 overhead size requirements (which are smaller than before).

Very satisfied with this bag so far. It meets the new 2014 smaller carry-on size requirements, doesn't tip over easily, had plenty of room for clothes on a week long trip. The compressing feature works really well. My only complaints would be that the umbrella pouch on the back side between the handles is too small for all the umbrellas I've tried to fit in it. Also, if you use the compression feature and then realize you needed to put something more in the bag, it can be a little difficult to re-expand the two compressors to the fully expanded position without taking out clothes -- but it's possible (just takes a little feeling around and some finger work).

I just bought this for my husband. So far, he's used it for one trip and loved it. I was concerned about the expandable parts, especially because I hadn't read anything good or bad in the numerous reviews I read online. So, in person, they clicky, expanding bits at each interior end of the suitcase seem sturdy and not likely to break. Expanding each end is a two-handed job, though. My husband's first comment was that he was excited about the flat-bottom interior. The handle seems longer than your average carry on, so you don't have to stoop too much. I wish they had a spinner version of the expandable, but they don't. I read a fair amount about Tumi versus B&R, but apparently the warranty/repair policy is much better with B&R.

I bought this to replace a well-worn Samsonite roller board. It's thoughtfully made of high-quality, durable, and repairable components. I liked it so much that immediately after my first trip, I bought the larger upright version as well. My sole complaint is that the handle is a suede-like material that is discoloring somewhat from handling.
I'd also recommend:
