I got these great boat shoes on sale -- a great price for a quality product. Shopping at Zappos is Zaptastic.

I was so excited when these shoes arrived! The leather is butter soft, and the cushioned insole is wonderful. The problem is they seem to run pretty large. I usually wear a 6WW, but I have had shoes from this company before and was aware they do stretch out. I ordered a 6M in turquoise & my foot was very loose in the shoe. I could easily have walked right out of them. Sending them back to get a 5 1/2 and hope that will work. Some reviews here say they run true to size or narrow. Perhaps the sizes vary by color, bit I really hope going down a half size will do the trick.

I bought these in red on another site last summer. I love them and wear them a lot. They do run about a half size smaller than other Minnetonka mocs. I love the brighter colors this season and may have to get a second pair.

I usually wear a size 6, but after reading other reviews I ordered a 5.5 and a 6. Both were too large. In fact, the 5.5 foot bed was only 1cm shorter than the 6. I think an earlier reviewer may have been right to suggest a quality control issue. The sizing issue is why I gave these shoes 3 stars. I am returning and exchanging for a 5, but if you have small feet like me you may want to order a full size down.

I thought at first that these would be too low-cut to be secure on my feet while boating, but they do feel secure. However, the footbed lining is only partial and rough around the toes, so they always feel as if they have sand or grit in them. Disconcerting.

I gave it a low rating only because the first pair I ordered had different colored stitching around the toe. I ordered a second pair, the leather was different from the first pair. It was smooth, not crinkly which I actually liked better (the crinkly one). The smooth leather looked cheaper(poorer quality). The second pair also had a cut or rip in the toe area of the right big toe in the leather and not at the seam. Poor quality control check I suppose. I will try a third pair, but that's it. Fingers crossed.

These were so comfortable, but they look terrible on my feet. The length feels perfect, but they are very wide shoes. The leather is so soft that it buckles and gaps around the sides. Super soft and comfy inside, though. I'm sending them back because I don't like the way they look on my feet. Maybe they'd fit someone with wide feet better?
