What can I say other than I wanted to love these shoes. I really did. They're very good looking and I received many compliments each time I wore them. In fact, they are the best looking pair of shoes I own. I bought them to wear on special occasions with a tailored linen summer suit. However, having only worn these shoes five times, the heals are already coming loose and tearing away from the shoe itself. I am beyond disappointed in the quality of these shoes. I would not recommend these to anyone.

Great shoes and super comfortable. High quality construction and materials here with no weird creasing in the toe. Non-slip rubber soles made break-in easy and fast. Slightly long toe and profile, which looks elegant and not overly trendy. Would definitely recommend these and would buy again.

These shoes are comfortable and very stylish. Every time I've worn them, I've received compliments and I've never had an issue with sore feet or hot spots. I wish I had 10 pairs of these, but I can't quite afford that. They are a bit on the expensive side, but I believe that you get what you pay for and these shoes deliver on that deal. For sizing: I typically wear a 10.5-11 street shoe. I ordered a 10.5, but they were a bit large. So, I returned for a 10 and they fit perfectly.

I did need to buy a sole insert in order to get extra elevation because the arch area around the ankle was making contact with my bone when I walked. Other than that the shoes feel great.

I have a couple of the Gordon Rush shoes and I’ve had them for years - never any issues with quality but I do take good care of them (shoe trees, cream, etc.). The manning was my most recent purchase from them and I'm impressed again.

The ladies are like "awwwww," the dudes are like "whaaaaa!" A stiff shoe, but they make you feel like the man, so it's a nice spring in your step to counter the rigidity otherwise afforded by this fine quality leather. Get yourself some trees and cream, and your shelf will scream "take these beauties off of me and go take your woman out for a fine evening!"

I have four pairs of Gordon Rush shoes and have always been quite happy with them. I do have a problem with the Cognac Calf Manning however. I do not know if I have a defective pair made from leather that was not tanned well but they simply do not hold a shine. I have had them professionally shined 8 or 10 times and they always look dull within a day or so. Also there are slight irregularities on the leather that upon close inspection look like there are spots of discoloration. It is really a shame as shoes of this color only look good when properly shined. I don't have any problem with the other Gordon Rush shoes that I own.

Bought these for a wedding to go with a tux. They really looked great - way better than the blocky rentals. They fit true to size for me and remained very comfortable throughout the day. Make sure you have shoe trees for them after wearing to keep the leather looking like new!

I bought these recently as I was in need of a dressier shoe for work and my dark denim jeans. I've been extremely pleased with these shoes and they look much more expensive than they were. Added bonus was the compliments I received from some women in my office and my girlfriend is a fan too. I will be buying more from this brand for sure.

Good shoe but the quality is questionable, fell apart in 6-9 months

These are terrible shoes. They look great, actually very comfortable, zero break in time. But they are made of cheap materials - I highly question the claim of leather upper - and they are not worth the price. After about six months they started to fade, scuff, and pull apart. The heel has come unglued on one shoe now, and they would never take a shine. They lasted me longer than they should have, but ultimately I wish I had not spent the money. A good J&M, Ecco, or AE would have been a better investment.
