This is such a cute shoe, but we are returning it for 2 reasons. 1. There are no half sizes offered and a whole size is too big. 2. This shoe is extremely wide.

In my experience, Livie and Luca's always run large. These fit narrow in the mid foot area which was strange and they were too small. My daughter wears a 13, so I ordered a 13 hoping they would run large as usual and she could grow into them. That unfortunately was not the case. I'm ordering her a size up and will see if that helps.

I purchased these for my granddaughter. After 2 months of wear, the leather is peeling. Not impressed, as they were not cheap. So sad! I can not recommend to others & would not purchase again.

This gets an overall of 3 stars because I'm noticing a trend with the Livie and Luca line and quality control. After a few months, the velcro on this came detached. I'm going to try and repair it today, but at this price point it gets me a little peeved.

I loved the design of this shoe - not too busy. Unfortunately, after my 21 month old toddler wore this twice the stitching was already coming undone. Perhaps it was just a defect on that particular shoe, because another toddler in her school has the same pair and they look just fine. But Zappos customer service is amazing and refunded my money. I'm still willing to try other Livie and Luca shoes.

We had last year's Ruches and they were fabulous! They were soft buttery leather and wore beautifully. They even survived an unfortunate dunk in a sink full of water at school. When I received and opened the box last week I was shocked at the difference. This year's shoe doesn't even feel like leather. The stitching also looks cheap. If I hadn't ordered these from Zappos, I would be sure they were counterfeit. They honestly look like shoes I paid $15-20 for. I emailed Livie and Luca and their response was that they agreed that the shoe isn't as nice as in the past and they're working to improve. My suggestion is to skip this year's Ruches and go with something else.
