If you have problematic wide feet - bunions, plantar faciitis, etc. try these Aravon sandals. They are roomy in the toe box and fully adjustable at the heel and mid foot. It is very hard to find a comfortable wide shoe that is attractive enough to wear in public but these are! Thanks Aravon (New Balance) and of course thanks to Zappos as well.

These are the most comfortable sandals ever... I wore them all day right out of the box with no issues. That NEVER happens to me with my wide feet and bad knees. They are a bit expensive but the comfort level is worth the price. I felt like they were custom made for me.

I love this light-weight little sandal--my 2nd pair by Aravon. My 8 1/2 WW, high arch feet need style and comfort and I get plenty of both with this sandal. The Velcro is superior (lasts years, not just one season) and the leather and embellishments are quality. Give this brand a try--you won't be sorry.

This is my 2nd Aravon sandal and I really like the brand; solid, anatomically conforming foot bed,superior and reliable Velcro, pretty leather and embellishments on the upper. This light- weight sandal gives support and comfort for my sometimes-aching high arch 8 1/2 WW feet and allows me to move like a teenager again. p.s. My old Aravons are still in great shape--just wanted a new, pretty pair.

I ordered ten pairs of sandals to try to find one to 2 pairs that worked for my wide, problem feet. These are one of the pairs that I am keeping. I don't intend getting the sweaty tennis shoe smell that someone else reported. I don't believe in wearing the same shoes for days on end since all shoes need time to air out. Great looking comfort show,. Wwould have preferred a contoured footbed such as Finn Comfort have.

These are the best shoes ever. I love them so much that I am ordering another pair. Talk about comfort. I have wide feet and bunions. These shoes come in double wide and actually cover my bunions. The leather is so soft. I work retail and my feet never hurt any more. I highly recommend these shoes especially for people with wide feet and bunions.

Love this shoe. I also ordered it in pewter now because it is so comfortable. I have a wide foot and ordered it in EE with and it fits very nicely.

Toe and instep straps can't be adjusted to fit my high-instep feet without the Velcro showing. However this is only true in the tan and black. The pewter color sandals are fine. That being said, these are the most comfortable shoes ever! They weigh almost nothing and the foot bed is cushy. They have good arch support, but you can remove the foot bed if needed and use your own orthotics. The style is not the cutest, but if you think of them being along the lines of a Birkenstock style, the are actually nice in comparison. The slight lift from the heel makes a wide foot look a little slimmer. (Birkenstock and Vionic make me look like I have duck feet.) Looks good with casual dresses/skirts as well as pants. These work well for my 6WW feet, flat arches, plantar fascists, neuroma and high instep.

This shoe is very cute and well made. I'm still evaluating by wearing them in the house. The leather on the straps seem to be cutting into my foot. I'm not sure if it's because I'm not accustom to wearing sandals or if it the placement of the straps that is just bad for my foot? I really like this sandal so I hope they work out for me.

Perfect!! I have a short and very wide foot. Have much difficulty finding any shoe to fit! Zappos only place I can buy shoes! This sandal very comfortable and true to size. Highly recommended! Thanks Zappos!

Nice looking, well constructed sandal. The only tricky part for me is the extra padding toward the front of the sandal that I believe is meant to fit directly under the toe joints. In my case, that area hits on the padded region directly below the base of the toe--i.e. the very top of the metatarsal area. It's soft padding, so it doesn't hurt in any way, but it's annoying to a degree. Too aware of it as I walk. Although I try to line up my heel with the adjustable strap so that it is directly above the edge of the sandal, my foot pushes forward slightly and so my foot lines up on the sandal in such a way that I feel what I described above.

I have been looking for a sandal with a removable footbed so I can use the custom orthotics I must wear. These look nice - although I wish they came in a tan/nude color. But when I wore them around my living room for half a day, the back strap began to chafe. Nice sandal otherwise - manufacturer should put padding/soft material on the back strap, like they did for the Katy, which I am buying instead.

Saved my vacation. No break in time. I needed a comfortable sandal for a cruise to an island where I would be walking a lot. I really wasn’t sure about the style, as this is normally not my style, but it is hard to find a cute AND comfortable shoe. I didn’t seem to have a lot of options in my local stores, but I tried this one. It felt comfortable, so I ordered the pewter from Zappos. At the last minute, I decided to take them, and glad I did. They really don’t look like an orthotic and I could walk all day in them. In my mid 50’s and in fairly good shape, but feet get sore during the day (especially the sides of my feet). They really did not in these. I Love cute shoes, so this was a hard decision, but I am glad that I had these, and I am sure they will get a lot of use as an everyday sandal when I need to walk a lot. ??

As soon as I tried them on, the inside of the toe strap started rubbing my foot.

Like another review I love the style and comfort of this shoe but,the insole is horrible. I think possibly the worst I have ever had. I have two pair of these and in great shape but the insole is hot and feet are sweaty. I will not buy more Aravon until this problem is corrected.

I purchased these as I was looking for a walking sandal that could handle cobblestones and dirt. I am sure they would, but unfortunately the side metal D-ring which holds the back ankle strap right away started digging into the side of my foot. They are being returned. The soles are wonderful and felt really good to walk in. I have a narrow foot, but the style is too clunky for me and makes my feet look large, in a Birkenstock chunky way. Not a sandal for a dress or going out in the evening.

This is my fourth pair of this shoe. Love them!!! Please don’t ever stop making them. I need the arch support and comfort of them. Great shoe!!!

Don't LOVE the look of these, but very comfortable and in a neutral/versatile color. They look like they will wear well.

Super comfy right out of the box. I have dreadful feet due to a foot injury, plantar fasciitis and a bunion so finding shoes that work can be a challenge. I wear a 7.5 to 8 wide in regular shoes and an 8 to 8.5 wide in running shoes. The 7 wide fit perfectly in this shoe, thanks to the adjustable straps. They look better in person and don’t make my feet look big or frumpy. And they can be dressed up or down. Thanks Zappos for your awesome customer service!

Excellent sandal for narrow feet. I have several pairs and can walk a long time without any discomfort.

I had already purchased a couple pairs of this exact sandel in the past from a local show retail store in the Bergen County, NJ area. This is the same sandel so it is fine. I tried them on and they are fine. I have not started wearing them as I am wearing my UGG boots now. I love this sandel and recommend it to any one to buy it. It is extremely supportive of the foot and very comfortable !! Carolyn Rice, nj

Comfy and cute. The narrow is truly narrow. But, they run a little long. I normally, wear an 11. But, the 10 fits well in these.

Love these shoes. Very cute and comfy. And they actually make my (big) feet looks smaller. They do run a little large. I normally wear an 11, but the 10 is perfect.

Wonderful sandals for thin feet, with good midfoot support, but sizing seems to have changed. I bought a pair in size 6B 2 years ago and they fit like a dream, but the footbed of the new pair I just returned is about a half size too small now, though width still OK.

I loved this sandal except it says it is pewter colored, whick is a dark silver to me, and it is actually a copper brown color. That is why I am returning it, sorry.
