This flip flop if perfect for someone who needs or wants arch support but it's not too much to cause discomfort to walking. They are nice lightweight and stay looking great for a very long time. I have several pairs of these during the past five years.

I have these shoes in size 8 so reordered because I love them. The new size 8 was smaller than last. I reordered in 9 and they are perfect matching the old size 8. Beware!

I have always been a reef girl but haven't felt enough support and with complete telework, I spend most of my days in the house. I saw the these and they had good reviews so I thought I would try them. I am in love. They are like a glove for my feet. I got the silver which go with everything and I am just in love with these. Best chanclas ever! I am now looking at getting some other colors. These are my new favs for sure!

These are the best flip flops if you need arch support. So comfortable!

I own a few olukai sandals. While these are priced like their leather sandals, they are nowhere near the quality. They were foam and sat crooked on my foot.

First time ordering from Zappos and the process was so quick and my flip flops came a few days later! These Kulapa Kai flip flops in Java are a dream! I bought my normal size (I’m not a half size and have a normal width foot) and they fit perfectly! The arch support falls in the right place and the material of the flop is so smooth and silky. Go get yourself these flops ASAP! I’ll be buying more soon ?

Ordered a size 10 for my sister’s birthday present. Although they fit, they could have been a tad longer. She has a very narrow foot which helped ensure her heel fit nicely in the heel of the sandal, but there was no room to spare.

I have flat feet no arch and overpronation, this sandals provide comfortable arch support.

These are my favorite sandals by Olukai. Wonderful arch support. I wear a 9-91/2 and size 9 is a good fit.

These run small compared to the Ohana. I wear a 7 in Ohana but the 7 in the Kulapa Kai was too small and the 8 was a little too big. Also, these don’t have has much cushion and support. I was really hoping they’d be Ohanas with a skinny strap, sadly they’re not. They are cute though and if they fit for your foot you’ll probably like them but I’m sticking with the Ohana.

This is my second pair of Kulapa Kais. I bought the first pair, also from Zappos, in May 2017. I wore them almost every day, often to the beach and on rough lava rock, through salt water and in the hot sun. The straps on the first pair started peeling a couple months ago, so they look junk and rub my feet uncomfortably. The soles and traction are still solid though. I'm very satisfied with how long they held up, so didn't hesitate to replace them with the exact same slipper. The black color is sharp and dressy (for Hawai'i standards). Thank you Olukai and Zappos!

I'm usually a 7.5 but get a size 8. The 8's are a little snug and shorter this time. I'm hoping they stretch. Have purchased these same sandals before in an 8 and they were fine.

I love Olukai’s and have been wearing them for years. They really hold up with time and simply don’t wear out! I own 3 pairs and practically live in them as I live in Florida. My favorite style are the Ohana’s as they provide excellent support. I’m really liking the Kulapa Kai too because of the thinner strap and feminine look.

I've ordered and kept many pairs in this style in the same size. These do not have the same feel in the footbed. It doesn't seem to have the same amount of cushioning as the others. It also feels snugger on my foot than the previous ones in exactly the same size. This is disappointing since I have trouble finding shoes that do not bother my feet.

Super comfortable from the very first time I wore them. I needed arch support for a foot injury and didn’t want to stop wearing flip-flops, and these solved my problem! (I don’t usually wear flip flops with arch support so I don’t really know of these are “moderate” or “excellent”). I’m back to order another pair!

This style seems to run smaller than the other OluKai flip flops I've had.

Everything about these sandals were perfect, the size, the feel. Very comfortable to wear.

I have a slightly narrow, size 7 foot and this shoe fits like a glove. Great arch support. Olukai is only brand of flip flops that I'll buy and so far, the Kulapa Kai style is my favorite!

I normally wear a size 8 narrow shoe, but of course it's impossible to find narrow flip flops, so I went with the 8 and they work...a tiny bit loose but my feet are ridiculously narrow. They have a moderate arch that is comfortable. I really like the color...very bright turquoise. I wish I could have found them in pink or orange as well but I found these so late in the season that most of the colors were sold out except for the black. If you go to the Olukai website, you'll find this style is one of the few that runs more narrow. Most of their sandals are made for much wider feet. So if you normally wear a B width, these should work well.
