OK... Here's the Real Deal! for us 1/2 size people ~ I'm a true 7 1/2 with a narrow foot high arch. I purchased the Kulapa Kai & I'a in both 7&8 ... both styles were the same in fit, width & great arch support. The 7's are snugger strap wise than the 8 not much but you can tell the difference & arch support is ever so slightly positioned differently because of that 1/2in. So if you have a thicker foot or any swelling because of foot problems go for size 8. It's a shame they don't make 1/2 size's, it would just make it easier to get the true proper fit for your foot.

I absolutely love these! I have always wanted to be a flip-flop girl especially because there is so much flip-flop weather in the Southwest where I live, but I do not usually find flip-flops comfortable enough to even wear running to the store. I have tried Sanuk flip-flops and they are soft like a cloud, but not enough support. I have tried Chaco, but they rubbed my feet in the wrong way. These OluKai flip-flops are just right! I slipped them on and they worked right from the start. No rubbing. No blisters. I wore them everywhere this summer. They are just dressy enough to look great with a sundress. They also work with everyday shorts or pants. My feet are a little wider in the toes and they have enough width to not have my feet spilling over, but do not seem like wide shoes. They are true to size.

I tried a couple of other olukai styles first, then these and these for best and I loved the look. The sole footprint is a little less wide and the strap is thinner than Ohana, but it has the same soft fabric between the toe post. The strap is more snug and holds onto my foot well without being tight. I love the bubbly color which is a pale gold, should go well with a lot of clothes.

These were recommended to me as a way to continue to wear flip flops while suffering from plantar fasciitis. They are great! Wonderful support in the arch.

These are the best sandals I ever have owned. Very comfortable arch support, but not too high as to be uncomfortable. They are defintiely water resilient, and I wore them to the beach for my week vacation. Can be dressed up as the straps are shiny. They spray down easily to get all sand off. Sand does stick to these sandals and requires water or simple brushing off to clean them up after a day at the beach. I really love them and will definitely be interested in purchasing another pair of Olukai again. One other thing about the sandals is that they fit nicely on your foots. Other sandals I tried, I felt like I had to curl my toes to keep them on because the straps were to loose on my foot to keep them on. These fit a lot better. I do not have a wide foot.

If you’re looking for a lighter, thinner version of OluKai Ohanas, the Kalupa Kai sandals are a perfect option. They feel very light and slipper-like. The sole is not as beefy as the Ohana, so it feels that there is a little less support for the arches, but still plenty of cushioning. I have wide feet and I normally wear an 8.5 or 9 in regular shoes, and a size 8 in the OluKai Ohanas and Paniolos. After reading the reviews for the Kulupa Kai, I ordered a 9. Glad I did. As you can see, the fit is perfect. Beautiful, well-made sandals. Love them!

I purchase 3 pairs of OluKai flip flops after someone highly recommended them for arch support. They were very comfortable but unfortunately they were VERY squeeky for the first few weeks of wearing them (from feet rubbing on the rubber). Once the squeeking stopped, the rubber has smelled VERY bad and very strong. I have never had smelly feet or shoes, so it has to be something to do with the rubber on these. I'm returning the other 2 pair and Zappos refund for the 1 pair that I tried.

I love this brand of flip flop. I know that these aren't cheap, but you truly get what you pay for. These flip flops provide excellent arch support. I never recommend to order a size up but for this brand it is a must!

I want to start my review by saying I love this flip flop. This is my fifth pair. My only issue with this pair is that it definitely is running small. I compared it to my older Kulupa Kais and these even look smaller although I have ordered my usual size 7. I don’t understand why the sizing seems different with this years model. Unfortunately there is no half size option and I think the size 8 would be too big. I am going to wear them around the house for a few days to see if they stretch out. I have never had to do this with previous pairs.

Love these! I started wearing the Ohana style when I went through a painful bout of plantar fasciitis, they were the only shoes that weren't excruciating. Then I discovered the Kulapa Kai style, which has the same awesome type of footbed, but a narrower fit for my skinny feet. So I now have the brown, and silver (for when I'm feeling fancy). :-) I live in Florida and wear my OluKais year round - they hold up great.

Love these. I ordered three different kinds of OluKai flip flops--I already have one leather pair that's kind of dressy and a little clunky--I wanted something lighter and more versatile, so ordered these in Silver. I also tried the Ohana and the Punua--hated the fit on both, the straps seemed too long and didn't fit me. I have narrow feet with high arches (and arthritis) and the Kulapa Kai was perfect! The sole is so soft and cushiony! The straps are pretty snug but very comfy. And so so cute! Very pleased with these. I generally love everything OluKai but their flip flops are hard with only full sizing as I am a true 6 1/2. I ordered these in a 7 and they fit perfectly. I don't know how the bottoms will hold up if I wear them out and about but I'll be happy even if they're just house shoes.

These are the best flip flops. I think I can wear them all summer without having aching feet.

This style seems to run smaller than the other OluKai flip flops I've had.

Honestly, if the Ohana's had this outsole, we'd have a perfect sandal. The soles on these are more rubbery, and therefore have a better grip and flexibility. I think if you find yourself between sizes w/ Olukai and don't mind the narrow straps, get these because they have a smaller fit than the Ohana's but still provide some arch support and good cushioning. I'm not a fan of the thin straps because they always seem to pinch the tops of my feet but it's a nice sandal for those who want a slimmer profile. Worth the money? Make them in the USA and sure!

These are my favorite flip flops. Very comfortable with good arch support for a sandal or flip flop. They look good and you can wash off sand easily. Unfortunately, I have a narrow (AAA or AAAA) foot and have to order several pairs and hope to get a pair that runs narrow. I have been successful several times in the past getting a pair I can make work with perseverance and Zappos wonderful customer service.

This is exactly what I was looking for. A light weight thoung sandal. I like the arch support.

I love this flip flop for its quality and the arch support it gives. Plus the footbed feels so soft & lush. I find it better than the more popular Ohana model because the footbed on the Ohana is too bulky & heavy for me. Its weight causes it to drag when I walk and creates blisters. This model is lighter and stays with my foot when I walk. This flip flop runs true to size for me. My foot runs slightly wide and fits fine.

I bought 9's in Kulapa Kai and Ohana, hoping one would be closer to my 8.5 foot, since Olukai doesn't make half sizes. These, Kulapa Kai, fit perfectly. There is a little room in front of my big toe and my heel is very close to the back edge. The 9 really is like an 8.5, IMO. The Ohana W in 9 was too big overall. I'm really happy I fit into Olukai Kulapa Kai. I'll buy other colors.

My daughter has plantar faciitis and this is the only footwear she can tolerate when her symptom are severe. Actually, this is her go to favorite all year round. Great sanders and great arch support. Totally recommend them.

I normally wear a 6 1/2 in regular shoes and took the advise of many reviewers and sized up and ordered a 7. It was way too big, the 6 fits perfectly. Super comfortable, but be aware that the arches are high. Also the straps are snug, hoping they will stretch quickly, but I do have wide feet so that may be why they are tight otherwise the width is generous. Rubber insole is soft and feels nice to stand on.

Even though they did not fit, I can tell that these flip flops are fantastic. Unfortunately, the fit on these sandals did not work for me. I have a fairly wide foot and short toes. The shoe was too short in the heel but left me with a ton of room at the toes. I am not sure if it was this style of sandal or just because my foot was too wide to properly fit. I am trying a men's size in hopes that they are wider! If you have a wide or "Fat" foot, possibly try out the men's size instead!

In trying to decide between these and the Vionic Tide, I have decided to go with the Vionics because the arch in these hit me just a little "off" and they seemed just a touch long. They seem very well made and they are pretty nice looking for flip-flops. I think it all comes down to the shape of your particular foot.

I really needed a pair of flip flops that were grippy & water proof for a trip to Maui…so I searched endlessly. I came across this pair of Olukai and they seemed to fit the description of what I needed. A rugged flip flop that had grippy soles that I could trek across the rugged shoreline and had good arch support for my high arch instep ~ I thought they were expensive for a pair of flip flops..After-all they’re just flip flops right? Well, I’m here to tell you these flops are outrageously comfortable ~ like walking on a cloud..they conform to your feet like a glove and they feel absolutely amazing to walk in…it’s a game changer. Wish I knew about these long ago…go ahead put them in your basket..,you’re welcome Note: run pretty true to size maybe a smidgen smaller, but not enough to go up a size.

These are the best, most comfortable flip-flops ever. I'll probably wear them into the ground, literally.
