wanted to love this, pretty unhappy. the footbed is so... hard. my flip-flops have more cushion. maybe they'll be more comfortable on your feet, but for me, MEH. have worn them outside, so I guess I can't return 'em. :-(

These are nice shoes, but I have NEVER seen a men's 9.5 so LARGE. Exchanging for size 9 and we will see...

I should have listened more to the reviews about sizing. I normally take a size 12, went down to an 11.5, and should have gone to an 11. Sending back the return now. Shoe seems nice, but not as nice as I thought it would be. I would have kept it if the size was right, but am not going to bother to reorder the right size as the shoe looks OK, but not great.

Beware big footed folk -- the difference in width from 14 to 15 is dramatic. I have size 15 feet, the 15 was way too big, a bit long but ok but width was much too wide (they don't come in variable widths). Heel coming out. So I went down to 14 and width too short, but the width was right.

First I ordered a half size smaller as per reviews. One shoe was to small pushing on the (trimmed) toe nail, the other was perfect. I exchanged then for the size I normally wear they are slightly large in the previous cramped foot and to big for the other. The arch support is nor as good as OluKai slippahs, been wearing them for many years and they are great. I just wanted something as good a feel as their slippahs, these aren't the ones. I'll keep them just the same in case I ever want to wear socks with them. I'm not sure where Olu Kai is made but sizing standard may be off there was a big difference between the 1/2 size. I could try another but that wouldn't be fair to Zappos. They'll set in the box till later, bummer.

Really nice shoes. If you are used to Sketchers or something similar that are very light weight, these seem heavier than they need to be. I wear a 14 in nearly everything, ordered a 14 in these, and they are massive. I went to a local store and tried on a 12 and a 13 in a similar style OluKai. I'd probably be a 12-1/2, but those don't exist. They are at least 1 full size too big, so order small.

Bought a pair of these while I was in Kaua'i. They are the most comfortable slippers I've ever had BUT they stunk instantly and there's no microbial whatever inserts in them. The first day was wearing them at the beach where they got wet during a downpour and they started to stink from there on. I'm sure I can get a better insert, but for the money, these should have them.

great idea, but strange arch fit. Overpronaters beware. I don’t tend to overpronate, but these always make my feet look like I do.

My husband liked these ok, but has commented that they are stiff and make his feet sweat, so I doubt we'll be repeat buyers.

Loved the look, but a 12 seemed too small and a 13 too big. Seemed like a well constructed shoe with good support. Will give OluKai another try with a different shoe.

I've bought and worn out 2 pairs of these in 2 years. Sure, they're lightweight and I wore them pretty hard, but after a (pretty short) while, they came apart at the seams, literally. I like them well enough to give them a second try, but not a third.

I really like this shoe - and I hate wearing shoes. These are the only shoes I wear that aren't constantly reminding me I have shoes on. Even with a wide toe box and steep instep I can wear them all day long. They really are that comfortable, especially with no socks. There is a problem. Mine are only 7 months old and there's a hole in the mesh above the big toe. A real disappointment. Hopefully I can find something to attach inside to the mesh above the toe - otherwise it's a deal breaker.

beautiful shoe, runs very large in length. well crafted though and soft.

size up. i have the same style in other materials and this one is smaller even though i bought the same size. lukewarm review only because i couldn't wear them. i like other olukais i own.

These are comfortable for sure but are definitely not something you want to wear that involves water...which is what they would appear to be made for. Unfortunately, once they get wet, they stay that way for a very long time. Wore them boating and they were great, then they weren't. If you just want them for wearing with shorts or whatever, fine but look elsewhere for a good boat shoe.

I love these shoes....except, the insole started to come apart after only a couple months (the thin comfy top layer peeled away from the rubber part). I contacted the company and sent me an entire new pair! Excellent service...but the same thing happened on the second pair. Am I wearing them wrong? Maybe I'm supposed to go without socks or wear special Hawaiian socks or something?

Can't find a size. Extremely wide shoes, canvas and mesh sizes seemed to even different. I give! I won't own Olukai.

Somewhat overrated. I was buying it for the true 'slip on' feature where the back of the shoe can sort of fold down and you can wear it like a slipper. Not very well thought of design as you still feel something digging into your heel. Also, design and style did not seem like value for money.It does run a size large.

The shoes are nice, but the liner is the wrong size for the shoe, it's far too narrow on the arch, so my arches ended up spilling over the edge of the insole, which is quite uncomfortable. I ended up using a Spenco liner, which fits perfectly and now the shoes are wearable. They're a little loose now, though, as the original insole was very thick.

The shoe has no support, and is much larger than true size. Your foot will slip around in it. By a half to a full size smaller. No support at all, looks okay.

Okay shoe, run big. I'm a 13. 12 too small. 13 too big. Loosey goosey, no support. Good to slip on, go to super market...that's it.

Hope you don't need customer support from the company, my two pairs within one month fell apart at the toe stitching, so far the company has done NOTHING.
