My husband wears a size 11 size shoe. The first pair we ordered were an 11: too big. The second pair were a size 10-1/2: too big. We have now ordered a size 10. If those don't fit I give up.

They are flip flops with a heel and toe.

These are beautiful shoes, and I really wanted them to work. Unfortunately, they seem to run very wide, and that was a problem. I frequently need to order a W/2E size for my foot, but even with a medium width in these shoes, they were too loose on my foot, and my toe kept sliding up into the front of the shoe. A larger size would not have helped, as the issue was that the shoe did not "hug" my foot securely enough to prevent them from sliding. A smaller size only would have made the situation worse. I'm sad that these didn't work out for me, but if you have a really wide foot, these might be perfect for you!

The reviewers who recommended buying a full size smaller are incorrect, at least for this size range. I am normally a 10, ordered a 9 and found it too small. I like the style and the arch support, but it was definitely too tight in length. I will return the 9's and order my normal size. I think I can make this work with Zappos' help.

First, I love OluKai sandals! These were a bit different story. They look great, they are light, and they might be right for some people. But the sizing is all wonky - I wear a 14 in most every shoe. I ordered a 13 in these items and they were way too big, then ordered a 12 and it was like stuffing a sausage (way too small). I guess it was just not meant to be.

Very comfortable, but very wide up around the toe. So much so that they almost had a clown shoe appearance (according to my kids). Would have kept the shoe if the shape was more uniform and proportional to the rest of the shoe.

I really like these shoes, but the seem to run a bit longer than I expected. -- I don't think it is actually a 1/2 size larger. I'm keeping them because I would rather have a summer shoe that is a bit lose compared to a bit tight. Other than the size, they are very comfortable and seem well made.

Comfortable, but a little large. I bought the 8 and returned them because they were to small, then the 9 was to big. When I wear without the heal, they are great.

Most comfortable shoe for the summer months and extremely comfortable. Mesh top makes the shoes light weight and keeps them airy and cool. Wouldn't wear them as water shoes at the beach or a lake as they take a while to dry off. But for land, they are the best!

So hopeful, but so disappointed. Great concept of barefoot sneaker/sandal flop thing. Reviews said it runs big, am 9~9.5 so went w/ 8.5 at first, swimming, returned. Tried 8, better but footbed/arch feel/support is weird and would not be comfortable for walking very far. The size felt better toe to heel, except my toenails would rub/catch on the front fabric of the shoe, either indicating that the shoe is still too long and needs to be another size smaller, or that I have weird feet and/or a weird gait too. Can't bother fiddling with many exchanges to find perfect size, promising idea nonetheless.

Very comfortable shoes. Wanted something that was not a Topsider that was comfortable to wear in the Bahamas. This shoe is perfect.

2 sizes too big, literally. I wear 11.5-12 wide and I needed to go down to 10, and they still flop around a bit. I really like them otherwise.

I bought these almost a year ago. I purchased them just prior to a trip to Europe. I was looking for a comfortable walking shoe that could accommodate my medical orthotics. I spent 4 weeks walking around in them and they were great! They also look stylish so I wear them to the office as well. They pair I purchased a year ago still look great. I will be looking to get a couple of more pairs in other colors.

Very comfortable shoes. They run a little big but they are comfortable with or without socks and I kind of think of them as an alternative to flip flops. As far as the style goes, my wife really likes them but another friend thinks they're horrendously ugly so they're bound to be a little polarizing there.

Love the style.After reading the other reviews for a 10.5 I ordered the 10 a half size smaller. They are comfortable with no socks, but have a little room left if I decide to wear socks. With socks they are perfect. They do take some time to dry if wet even after removing the insert, hence four stars. Overall I am very pleased with the styling and comfort.

These are great. Comfortable, airy, good support for a small light shoe. Like others say, they run big. Maybe a full size big. Doesn't matter so much to me, but they would be even better if they made a smaller size.

Comfortable and cool mesh for a informal summer shoes. As stated by many they run a little big, in my case not a full size but rather an half one, usually 9 fit me well, 8 1/2 did the trick.

Ok here is the real deal They are NOT one size too big just a half size. I'm a true 13 bought 13 little big sent back for 12 to small...kept 13. Shoe is ok for a quick run to the store or park, but it has no support. Needs a lot Cushing, add insole. cant where for hours with out a little discomfort Looks stylish easy on and off will keep.

Good shoe. Nice and casual. With my other OluKai's my feet got hot, but they were leather. These shoes are much more breathable. Not a whole lof of arch, but there is some support. Most of my shoes are size 9, I had to get these in 8.5.

Nice looking mesh shoes. Foot pad is very comfortable and supportive. The material wraps a little loose around the foot so you have to get used to some flex in the shoe on the foot. This does not affect the performance. Overall - a very comfortable barefoot shoe for mild walking or around the house wear.

A reasonably comfortable shoe with a mesh top makes it light and airy I bought this pair for comfort and stability on a sailboat. Though I've been wearing them for most casual weekend activities.
