The fit is fine and true to size. I want something scrappy and ute for my aging feet. This is too dowdy for me.

Despite the extra width I kept this sandal because of the excellent arch support and that it was so comfortable.

Ordered 9.5 in black. It's very comfortable and true to size. But I must return because for some reason my heels sit off to the outside of the shoes. Probably something about how I walk. Wish I could keep them. It's so difficult for me to find comfortable, somewhat stylish, and supportive sandals for my old, sensitive, somewhat narrow feet. But TG for Zappos and their marvelous customer service.

This is a very comfortable, supportive, good-looking shoe. Style, color, comfort--all there. It took 2 pairs, though, to get the workmanship right. Aetrex needs to improve their QC.

Crazy comfortable! Trying to decide if I'll keep it...the white is a little bright for my size 9 feet. (Fit true to size with a little room for stubbing toes.) Love that the velcro makes it adjustable but doesn't show. I have a wide foot and this was the one sandal I wasn't breaking over the edge, even in the regular width. Comfy footbed. One issue: synthetic leather on a bare foot seems like a recipe for sweaty feet.

I would prefer buckles over Velcro for adjustment. They are very comfortable to wear. I have plantar fasciitis and my feet did not bother me all day when wearing them.

I prefer adjustability of buckles. However, if stitching of Velcro doesn't come out, these are very comfortable sandals. In fact, I'm hoping the "aged red" comes back in my size.

I wish I had ordered down to the 8 when I bought these. I'm an 8.5 and usually have to order up to the 9. But. I really like these as a sandal for my plantar fasciitis. They are much better than anything else I've tried that's not a tennis shoe. I live in an area where I can wear sandals almost year round so good supportive sandals are a must. I will be buying more of this brand in the future for sure!

I really wanted to like these shoes. I have wide, flat feet, sensitive soles, heel pain, and to top it off, I prefer a slip on style that I can wear without socks. Needless to say, it is very hard for me to find shoes that work for me. When I first tried these on, I thought, oh my God, this is it - these are the ones! The soles are very cushy, the leather straps are super soft. The width is adjustable, so they fit my wide feet. While not super stylish, they are definitely cuter than most comfort shoes. Unfortunately, the arch support did not hit in the right place and they were uncomfortable after wearing them for even a short period of time. Even though these did not work for me, I would suggest giving them a try (free shipping, free returns!).

I really wanted to love this shoe. It's stylish, the leather is soft and the foot bed is heaven. Unfortunately, the arch is in the wrong place for my foot...too far back towards the heel, making it feel strange and uncomfortable. So sad!

Wanted a good looking shoe with support. This shoe has good support. All over footbed and arch. The front strap rubbed a bit so had to loosen. Both straps are a bit loose when adjusted to not rub. That would be my main complaint.

Must send these back. Based on a few reviews and the adjustable straps, I thought I might be able to wear these cute, very comfy sandals. My feet are just too wide. In fairness, it was a gamble because I usually have to buy a W or a WW. The footbed is a perfect fit, but the Velcro straps at the ankle are far too short. Right foot strap will close, barely. But the left foot strap won't even touch. I wish manufacturers would give some extra length on adjustable straps so that a "customizable" sandal or shoe could actually be customizable. Very cute sandal. Soft and supportive footbed, felt like they would have been great to walk in. Strap around back ankle is very soft, too.

First the negative: As others have mentioned this shoe runs narrow. I did not find the shoe bed itself to be narrow. The straps on both the ankle and toe area are skimpy, not allowing enough strap to completely cover the velcro. I do not have wide feet or thick ankles. If you don't mind the velcro not be completely covered by the straps, then you would be okay with the shoe. Positive: The shoe is cute and the color perfect going with everything. I ordered two pairs because I liked the picture and read the reviews. The 5 1/2 were long, covering my toes. The 5 fit perfectly and was the most comfortable sandal out of the box. I can't comment on the arch support as of yet since have not used them for long distance walking. However, I would state they probably have more support than average. I am pretty sure I will be keeping these because of the comfort but it does bother me for the price to barely have the straps touching the velcro and the velcro visible. As usual I love Zappos. It is almost impossible to find shoes between 5 and 5 1/2 and with so many choices they makes me a very happy shopper. I always turn to them knowing I will find a shoe.

They are very soft and cushy, but I think that my feet will sweat like crazy because of the footbed material. Also, in my book, soft does not equal supportive -- I find my much stiffer Birkenstocks significantly more supportive. The styling was OK, but not great, and the shoe was very stinky. I really like the width adjust-ability because I have such narrow feet. However, that alone did not merit the high price.

Not all Aetrex shoes have the same great arch support. These do not. I returned them.

I purchased a pair of Aetrex Mary Janes and loved them so much I thought I'd try to find some sandals. While the foot bed is really comfy, they are a bit too narrow for my foot and the ankle strap was rubbing the wrong way on my right foot. I'd say these are narrow...not medium width so sadly I'll be returning these.

I loved these sandals immediately. However, after about 3 months the velcro had worn out so badly on the straps that I cannot keep them fastened. Disappointing.

The sandals are cute but unfortunately the arch is in the wrong spot. I have another pair of Aetrex sandals when I compared the Lori dress sandal with my older pair the arch on the older pair is farther forward. I will be returning these which is too bad since I wanted them to work.

As in a previous review, I was excited by the style and footbed of this sandal. However, the closure straps were skimpy and did not cover the velcro strip. I wanted to reorder a wider size 10 but see that this shoe is offered in only medium width which is almost always what my foot requires. Needless to say, I was disappointed in these shoes. Your service, however, is excellent.

These are really cute shoes, but on my foot, not so much. I'm used to wearing shoes with good arch support, but with these, it felt like the arch was too far back on the sole of the shoe, and it made my foot spread in a weird way. I don't really know how to describe it, other than to say the arch is in the wrong spot, for my foot, anyway. I'll stick with Naot and Taos for the price.

Not comfortable. Strap was too high above my toes and hurt. Toes stuck out and was not comfortable.

These shoes are frustrating! The straps are very awkwardly connected and give me blisters - even after months of trying to wear them. I can wear them for three hours at a time, which I do because the soles are very comfortable to the bottoms of my feet. The Velcro strap easily comes apart while I am walking causing the shoes to fall off randomly and often. These shoes are new. They were a complete waste of money.

These sandals are very attractive and I took a chance on them because of all the raving good reviews. Sorry to have a contrary opinion, but I didn't think much of them. Very pretty to look at before I put them on, but the extra width of the footbed ruined it once on my feet. It just looked so strange. I have a classic size 6 medium foot with a high instep, a bit on the slender side, and these sandals were about the length of most 6 1/2s and too wide for a medium. You can adjust the straps to fit but they don't look good once you do. Besides that, the footbed has memory foam with a synthetic cover of some kind that was extremely unpleasant against my skin. It made the bottoms of my feet get hot and had a weird sweaty, clammy feel at the same time. Ick. I couldn't take more than five minutes of these on my feet. I have several other sandals with aegis antimicrobial and have no such reaction to them, so I know that isn't causing it. I don't care how pretty they are - I can't wear the things. Returned.

These shoes stink! I don't know what kind of material or "fragrance" was used, but my nose is very sensitive to it. I was also not pleased with the lack of support from the velcro -- are there sandals made with buckles anymore? Not at all happy. I will have to scour actual shoe stores in hopes of finding decent sandals.
