I have worn Naot shoes for years. Usually buy them in multiple colors when I find ones I like. I buy them here in the states and on my numerous trips to Israel I always seek out the factory there and buy many pairs. I'm a faithful Naot shoe purchaser. There is something wrong with the design of the this shoe. I turned my ankle 3 times this AM while walking. I tightened strap and then early afternoon I feel while wearing this shoe. There is a very narrow width to the bottom of the platform. A flaw in the design. Be careful.

Beautiful shoe, however, I have a very lean size 11 foot and they were squished. I suppose the nice leather would stretch over time but I'm not willing to endure that.

This is the 2nd time I've purchased shoes over the Internet, and I was a bit worried, as I normally wear 8-1/2 medium, and NAOT doesn't offer half sizes. So I ordered size 39 (U.S. women's size 8). When I first put on these "Deluxe" NAOTs, I was a bit shocked to feel "less" of a shoe under me than I normally do. However, a visual check revealed that the shoe is neither too narrow nor too short for my feet, and after walking on them for a while I realized that THEY FIT LIKE A GLOVE. No joke! It's like wearing gloves on my feet -- but gloves that allow my feet to breathe a lot. I don't know whether there's anything like a "bespoke shoe," but if there is, it must feel like this one. FYI, I am 5'3" and overweight, with high arches. When I was younger I wore a 7-1/2 narrow, and that may help to explain why these shoes fit me perfectly. If you have wide feet, however, this probably won't be the style for you. [The only drawback for me is that the upper ["Metallic Road Leather"], while nicely decorative, is made of a material that doesn't feel "smooth" on the skin. I hasten to add that it doesn't pinch, "bite," or leave any marks on my feet after being worn for several hours. I guess I'm just used to wearing smooth leather uppers.]

I love these shoes! They are extremely comfortable. I have foot problems & it's difficult to find shoes that are stylish & comfortable. I have other Naots that are great as well.

Beautiful and comfortable sandal! This is no surprise for Naot brand. I ordered this in 8 (39) and it was perfect. Every pair I have of Naot (sandals, boots and shoes) they are all the same size. Obviously I love Naot since I keep going back to order more and since they are so consistent in sizing, it's easy to order them online. These sandals are very lightweight, quality materials, secure on the foot with the velcro strap across instep, quiet on hard floors, grippy on sole, and a great height. The black is a dark gray metallic on the cut-outs with black trim; the champagne/biscuit is a tan color on trim and a golden metallic hue on the cut-outs and appears darker in person than online. Great sandal...pricey, but worth it.

I had to order a second pair of the same shoe because I forgot to pack them for a 3 month stay. They are so comfortable and the color is great with black, blue or navy. I love the extra height they give but there us so much flexibility that I walk so naturally. I wear narrow but this fits perfectly so I guess it runs narrower than medium.

I love these shoes. They were perfect for my trip to São Paulo. They felt comfortable for days of travel and walking. They are so stylish and beautiful. They were perfect with every outfit!

I have a pair of these same shoes in black! I have had foot surgery and I also have feet problems. I own a lot of Naot shoes that are flats. I love them but like to have something with a wedge when I dress up. These are the only shoes that don't hurt my feet. I love the style and would highly recommend them.

These are lovely shoes. I wish they were not so expensive, but for me they are worth it. They are extremely comfortable, supportive, and actually quite cute. The Velcro strap being adjustable is really nice as I like to keep them looser or tighter depending on how much walking I am doing. There is only an inch drop from heel to toe; they actually feel like wearing flats. The weight is evenly distributed (somehow?) and the height does not put pressure anywhere. I have been wearing them constantly for a week, and doing a lot of walking. They are just as great for going out to dinner as walking for miles. I love Naots.

Much more comfortable than I anticipated. Wore them to a casual wedding right out of the box and danced the night away...no pain, no blisters. Velcro straps are subtle and easy to adjust. I'm going back for the black ones next!

Great shoe...I have received many compliments on these shoes. The wedge style is extremely comfortable & allows me to wear a higher heel without sacrificing comfort.

This is a very comfortable shoe. I wear it shopping all the time. The only issue I have is that it rubs my toes a bit but that seems to be lessening the longer I wear the shoe. I live this platform style. It's exactly the right height and shape for comfort and looks.

I followed the advice of other reviewers and bought one size up in this shoe and they fit great! The front of my foot is rather wide, with a bunion on each side of both feet, and this shoe feels great. I plan on wearing them all summer with a wide variety of skirts. I haven't received any compliments at all on them, but I don't care because my feet are comfortable. Heel height is nice also. I will try other styles of this brand. Thanks also to Zappos for superior service (as usual)!

I love Naot shoes. Sometimes they are a little too "earthy" looking for my office. These purple ones are perfect! They fit like a dream and even the check-out lady at the grocery store gave me a compliment on them. So worth the cost.

I bought these shoes in blue and they are really beautiful. This is probably the 15th pair of Naots I bought over the past 10 years, I buy at least one pair each year because they are so comfortable, long lasting and cute. Normally I am size 40 in Naots, Ecco and other European sized shoes (9 or 9½ in US sizing), but in any of these wedges, I need to get 41 - it is just a bit narrower sole (I have the Valencia from last year). The 41 is slightly longer but fits perfect across the metatarsals. Highly recommend these, they are so comfy I can walk my dog in these. Zappos' service is unprecedented!

I bought these to use in Spain for lots of walking. I liked the first pairs looks so much, I ordered another color. They are very cute, for comfort shoes, but I found them to be too heavy to support the miles I knew I'd need them for. It was between 85-95 F, so that made the heaviness unacceptable. It's too bad, but I'd recommend them for anyone that isn't walking lots. I'd definitely get them for a wedding on grass, or just easier strolling. I did buy & keep a different Naot platform which is much lighter.

This shoe is really comfortable and well made, but I am sending it back because it is not as cute as it looks on the internet. The top lace-cut outs are great in person, but the bottom is a drab grey color that makes the shoe look "maw-maw." It would have been much cuter if the wedge had more contrast... even a dark brown or black would have looked good.

I just thought these were not cute in person. And the material darker than on my monitor at least. I like the shape and feel of the wedge but the upper is just not appealing.

These are now my favorite going out shoes- super supportive & cute!

Amazing! I needed a pair of dressier shoes for nursing pinning ceremony and graduation, that I could wear all day and be comfortable standing in. The pair I tried before this one was Mephiso, that brand obviously is not for me. Let me say, this Naot dress shoe is more comfortable than any pair of sneakers I've ever worn! I got lots of complements on them. When my friends were complaining of their feet hurting, I was still standing strong. I had no problems walking up & down stairs and the arch support was phenomenal. Well worth the price. I will have gen for life.

These are really cute; really comfortable but they run larger than expected. I always wear a size 6 (37) but I am returning and buying one size down.

This is a postscript to the review I posted on May 30th (2016): (1) To "anonymous" who reported that she "turned her ankle 3 times this AM while walking," perhaps it was a defective shoe. I have been famous for falling while wearing platforms, and now that I'm sticking with NAOT sandals, the falls are a thing of the past! As I mentioned in my review, this shoe feels as if it was made for me -- it's like wearing a glove on my foot. I've stumbled on several occasions but have been able to "catch" myself. If I'd been wearing one of my previous pairs of shoes, I would have ended up with a skinned knee. (2) I can, however, report a flaw. Over time, the strap that goes around the top of my heel has s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d, and it now rests much lower on my heel (particularly the right shoe). I'm going to take it to my excellent shoe repair guy here in Berkeley to see if he can fix it. So far, this problem hasn't affected my stability, but I can feel it further down than I would like, and it affects the "profile" as well. I hope that NAOT reads these reviews!

Love Zappos, have worn Naots for years and always same size so when I first thought the felt a little short ordered a second pair a size larger. When the larger ones arrived I was able to compare and decided to keep the original shoes and wore them that night and very happy. Zappos gives the best service! Thank you Zappos.

I just picked up these Naot Deluxe shoes -- I have very high arched feet and have recently been having difficulties with my right leg, tight IT band so going through a lot of pain with PT, etc. I've been wearing cheap shoes too long...these are well worth the money -- they feel wonderful, very supportive and go with most everything I wear.

Ahhh, comfort! A wonderful sandal with total foot support. Velcro "buckle" works well for glove-like fit. Full platform for stability. Cut out design gives a pop of style.
