I absolutely love this dress!! I had to send the first one back and get a larger size because I didn't realize it was European sizing. I'm very curvy and normally wear an 8 but I needed a 12 in this. The length is perfect, it hits right below the knee making it a bit more elegant. This is going to be a staple in my wardrobe!

Love, love, love this dress! I am normally a size 4, but ordered a 6. The fabric could look richer, but it fits like a glove. Although it is a bit tight under the armpit, I like that it lays tight and snug. I'll sacrifice a little pinch for the perfect fit. The dress has some stretch to it, and makes you look like an absolute twig! So easy to accessorize and make it your own... Will enjoy every minute of this dress.

I followed the advice of other reviewers and ordered 2 sizes up. Normally I am a 6 - 8 and I ordered a 10. This was just right. I have broad shoulders so I was conscious of the armhole being too small at a smaller size. I am 5'7", 135lbs. I love the style and the brand, but do feel that for the high price, some of the details should have been better; the zipper is cheap and some lining would have been nice.

Love this dress! Simple but sexy ay the same time. I wore it to a birthday dinner after losing 145 pounds and having the loose skin taken off my arms and bust. People were amazed at how I looked. I am thinking about getting the red one.

Love this dress. Wore it to a black tie wedding with stiletto heels. Classy but super sexy. It is super tight however... I'm 5'9 and 150 pounds so the 10 fit the best.

I normally wear a size 4 but I also ordered this dress in a size 6. The dress fit well everywhere but was too tight in the bust. So I have returned the dress and ordered it in a size 8. I went to the Stop Staring Clothing site to get the measurements before I ordered the next size up. Beautiful dress!

This dress is amazing! I ordered it in Eggplant for my birthday party. I read all the reviews and ordered the dress in three sizes, (12, 14 and 16) as I was on a deadline and afraid it would not fit well. After trying them all on, in front of friends, I ended up wearing the 12. The material is intended to be body conscious and it is very va-va-voomy, a la Marilyn Monroe. My regular 12 fit, with the seams matched and not stretching, the back kick pleat in tact and the back seam straight. I don't know why everyone says that they had such an issue. Additionally, I partied in this dress. Meaning I really danced and played, and was not uncomfortable at all. The dress fabric isn't shiny, or sheeny, which to me says that it is more versatile and could be worn to work with a blazer and without for the evening out. I then ordered this dress in the Blue and Fuchsia because my boyfriend said I need this dress in every color and he asked me to wear it on his birthday!

I ordered a size 6, but they sent a size 8. I am glad they did. I am normally 4/6 and don't mind tighter fitting clothes. The 8 worked well. As soon as I touched the fabric, I was going to send it back without even trying it on. I am glad that I decided to give it a shot. Once on, the material doesn't feel so "canvas" thick and lays quite nice. I think this material allows it to be tight without any bulge. I am 5'5", 137 pounds, mostly muscle. I will be curious to see how the material holds up over an evening, i.e. wrinkles, stretching, etc. If there are no updates from me, then it must have done well! I ordered the blue. Gorgeous!

I should have read the reviews on sizing as I ordered a 6 and couldn't get it zipped at all. Thinking I must have put on some lbs. I took the dress off and saw how tiny the waist was. I will go two sizes up just to be sure since I have a larger bust and the armhole on the size 6 was very tight. Can't really give a good rating on Comfort since I couldn't really try it on. The fabric is a little stiff but from what I could see but from what I could see, less the zipping up, it looks like it will be very flattering. A bit too long since I am 5'3" so will have to be hemmed.

Order a size up! I made the mistake of ordering this dress without reading the reviews and had to do a mad dash reorder to get the correct size delivered in time for an event. I am typically a 2-4 and ordered a 4, but it would not come close to zipping. I reordered in a 6 and it fits like a glove. The eggplant color is beautiful and the dress is very flattering to my curvy figure (5'5, 26" waist, 32DD chest). I loved it so much I ordered the shorter version in red. The only reason this did not get 5 stars overall is due to the small sizing scale.

The other reviewers are right in saying you should order a size up. I'm a standard size 4 and I ordered a 6 which fit perfectly. It's a little large in the top (I'm only a A cup) but still looked fabulous on. The fabric has a very stretchy canvas feel which is terrific because it camouflages any unsightly bumps. The only down side to this dress is the arm holes - they are tight up into the armpit. If you're ok with this then go for it. This dress will make you feel like a curvy gorgeous bombshell. Sadly it was a deal breaker for me and I had to return it.

I ordered this dress in a size 18 and it fits just fine. I have no complaints whatsoever, I did order a size up. I am normally a 16 but went with the other reviewers advice about going up a size. This dress has a lot of stretch in it ladies and you cannot go wrong. Overall it is a nice dress and the material is a little thick with a lot of stretch.

The dress fit wonderfully; Id gotten one size up as advised; I wear an 8 and purchased a 10. The eggplant color however was a tad pale-looking. It had the over washed faded sort of look so I exchanged for the red which look awesome! The fabrics, style, and feel of the dress is just as advertised and is very feminine. I have several stop staring dresses as staples. Love them! Great investment.

This is a great dress, but I am always a size "4" and I ordered up since the reviews said this fit ran small. The six was tight and the material does not stretch much. The arm hole is very small (pinched and was uncomfortable) and form my 5'4" frame, the dress was too long (it fell about 2-3 inches below my knee). Great dress - just not a great fit for me.

Definitely order a size bigger. The problem I had with this dress is the armhole. It was VERY tight. Uncomfortably tight. I was so disappointed because the dress fits like a glove but I'm not willing to be uncomfortable!

I love this dress, but it took me three tries to find the size that fit me. I had to order two sizes up, and the sizing was confusing to begin with. I would not recommend this dress to any woman with a lot of curves. You won't get it on! Overall very stylish and sexy dress, but it was made for a skinny girl.

Great dress. Based on other reviews I did order one size up which was probably a good call. Wore the dress to a wedding and I will certainly find more occasions to wear.

I'm normally a size 4 but ordered this in a 6. It's still really small. The material stretches nicely, but the armhole is tiny. I love the way it stretches and fits everywhere else, but I'm going to order up one more size.

After reading all the reviews, I ordered a couple sizes so that I could have the right one in time for an event. My normal size (4) fit, but was snug. If I didn't have any problem spots that I didn't like being highlighted, I would've worn this one. The 6 was certainly less snug, but it was just big enough to scrunch around those problem spots. Again, not an issue if you don't have these spots. The 8 smoothed everything over without anything bodywise being too noticeable. The arm hole did fit a bit awkward in all sizes. The color (blue) was true to the picture and very pretty, but the fabric leaves something to be desired. It's fine, not great. My biggest pet peeve with this dress is that the neckline is elasticized. That to me looks very tacky, and it affected the way it fit on me because it was puffy in that area.

Cute dress, runs small. I am 5'6", 140 pounds and a size 8. I ordered a size 10 due to what the other reviewers said about going a size up. The bust area was fine in terms of size- that's usually where clothes are too tight on me, but the butt was way too tight. I agree with the other reviewers, the price seems high as the material is cheap and it's not lined, but if the dress fits you right, it's cute enough that you won't care.

I love the royal blue color and the cut of the dress. I normally wear a size 2 or 4 depending on the brand. Ordered a size 6 and still was barely able to zip it up. The arm opening was way too small for me and was cutting into my armpit. Zappos customer service 5 stars.

Like everyone else has stated, this dress runs very small. I am 5' 3", 110 lbs and I ordered a size 6 (I'm usually a 2). Even with a size 6, it felt a little snug. The material is stretchy so it kinda pulls everything in and it did "fit", but even the hole for my arm seemed a bit tight. Overall, while I could move and breathe in this one, I felt self conscious... it just seemed to snug and I returned it. The fabric also seemed a bit dull in color and not the highest in quality.

Looks great on curves and is really stretchy and comfy, but for this price I think it should be lined, have the zipper better hidden and have slightly less matte fabric - that is, for this price, it should look more formal. I'm returning it. Definitely order up - I'm usually a 4 or a 6, and the 10 in this dress fit perfectly.
