This dress is perfect! Nice length and you can cut it to make it shorter if it's too long! I am 5'5 and I usually wear a 4-6 in clothing! A small fit perfect.

Killer dress! So flattering and I am 4 months pregnant! Slimming because it kind of hugs you back to front and the ruched wide-band at the tummy is the best thing ever. There was even a little surprise zip-pocket on the back/side sort of that I wasn't expecting. The fact that it is designed for you to cut to whatever length suits you best is amazing too. I wish everything I owned was engineered like this dress. Couldn't love it more. I got the Verdigris color and can't wait to wear with a tan this summer.

Really comfortable dress that works as a great base layer. While I really like this dress, my biggest complaint is that the built in shelf is simply not deep enough for me and I'm forever having to pull it up to cover my bra. I ended up cutting the elastic in the back so it doesn't pull down to bra-strap height, but it's still kind of annoying. Wish it just didn't have the shelf at all.

This is a great everyday dress or one you can wear out to dinner. I wish it was a bit more fitting around the waistline.

I really like this dress. I bought the "Clove Print," which is a milk chocolate color with a clove/flower design throughout. The color is really nice. The length is perfect for me. I'm 5'7" and ordered the Medium, so the bottom doesn't drag but if you wanted to shorten the dress, all you would need to do is cut below one of 2 other pre-stitched hems. These hems are not really noticeable if you decide to keep it full length, like I have. It has a small invisible zippered pocket at the waist, which I haven't used, but I can see where it might come in handy to fit a chapstick or a single key, if you decide not to carry a purse that day. The one problem I have with this dress is the way the bust initially fit. I am small busted (36B) so this dress left inch gaps under my arms. I was so disappointed but I decided to keep it, in hopes that with a really hot wash & a really hot dry it might shrink a bit. It did! The bust isn't 100% perfect but it s nearly perfect. (It's perfect enough that I wear this dress about once every week/every other week.) The length barely shrunk at all! (But maybe you might not have a problem with the bust - it could have just been they way the dress fell on me.)

I wanted this dress for a long time, but it was never available in my size in the print. I am 5'10" and the XL falls to ankles unwashed/cut (designed to trim to suit height!). Unfortunately being tall the waist was not dropped low enough on me, and fell so it looked like I had no waist because all the bulk clumped just below belly button (I am an extreme hourglass and looked like a sneech in it). You can adjust the straps to lower the dress, but it didn't help me and the straps started to look too small for the weight of the dress and I just got boxier in shape. I highly recommend for shorter stick/box figures and people over 6' (so it falls to true waist), as it will give you curves in the right places.

I am a little too tall for this dress. I ordered a small, and I am 6' tall and 135 pounds. This was a bit short in length, and was not flattering to my shape. The straps remind me of some of my nightgowns. Back it goes.

Loved, loved, loved this dress (although very very long) BUT... Top edge of dress at straps was stretched in a strange way leaving gaps at the side which couldn't be altered due to double layer over bust. So sad!

Not a fan of this dress. I'm 5'9" and it was just way too short for me and looked weird a little above ankle length. After washing, I imagine it would be even worse, so I couldn't recommend this dress for anyone above 5'7". But I like my maxi dresses closer to the floor.

Okay, so I wanted to love this dress based on all the great reviews. I got the black in an XS. I am 5"5, 115 pounds, wear size 25 jeans and 34B bra. This dress was huge. I would have to shorten it, but the real problem is all the extra fabric in the front. Just too big and not flattering. Maybe if it were a size smaller...but it doesn't come in an XXS.
