Could not even get my foot in it.

Shoe was so narrow - couldn't even get it on.

An attractive shoe, but after wearing for several days, they became so stretched out as to be dangerous.

This shoe was not wide enough. To make it worse, there was hard pieces of glue at the seams on the cross straps that dug into the top and sides of my feet. Not good. They had to go back. They were cute.

I wore these in my closet because I need to try my shoes a bit before I keep them.The minute I put them on I knew I was not going to be able to wear them. I have flat feet and they started to rub against my arch. I wanted to wear around the house as slippers. I have ankle pain when I walk around barefoot. I don't recommend these to anyone with a low arch.

Disappointed. I've always been a Clarks fan, but these shoes don't live up to Clarks standard. I ordered a medium, and they're much more like a wide. In addition, there are troublesome gaps that would exist even with a wide foot. The quality control just isn't there. Am thinking about returning them. I'm bummed, because I really like the style.

Read all the reviews and felt comfortable ordering this shoe. It is the most uncomfortable shoe. Just trying it on it started hurting. The leather was cutting into both my big toes and it hurt. There is a huge gap at the instep that walking in the house was rubbing. Sent them back. Cannot imagine that they would ever be comfortable. I have been especially unhappy with the past few orders of Clarks, sent them all back and the one pair I kept rubbed on my big toe after I had worn them for a small amount of time. I took a rolling pin and rubbed the leather and smoothed out to be a little more comfortable, but they cannot be worn for an extended time.

I have extremely sensitive skin/feet. I bought some Clark's bendables on here last year and they are my favorite sandals EVER because I finally found something soft enough that didn't rub. Well, I tried again with this style and it was a bust. These aren't as soft, they rubbed across the arch at the top and at the toes as well. It might be the stitching, but the leather is not as soft as the other style I bought. Returning them and hoping I can find something that won't hurt my feet. Love Zappos. They are so nice about returns.

Very light weight shoe, smaller than other Clarks in same size I've had. Attractive style, not as comfortable as Artisan styles.

must have been mismarked. These were NOT double wide. More like a B. Couldn't get it on and I have two in other colors. Love this shoe.

I can't even get them on my feet

I have a previous version of this exact shoe in my size of 7.5 W in black. I could not even get my foot into this white sandal that was supposed to be a 7.5 W! It did not fit in length or width. I also ordered it in black, which did fit in length but not in width. I am disappointed in the inconsistency in this brand.

I have a previous version of these exact same shoes and these ones are about a 1/2 shorter and not wide enough. I am disappointed and will be returning them.

I could not believe how narrow these run! I take a medium width in ALL shoes, and ordered a medium but they were extra narrow - my foot was coming off the sides! Also too short/not long enough. I did not think these looked as nice in person as on the website. I wish the open toe area was not as open, but more closed. They appeared matronly to me. You can see in the photos how far my foot came to the top/back and how it was spilling off the side - as stated I Never have taken wide shoes, these are not sized correctly. Overall they ran very small, I returned them. I normally take a 7.5 - 8 medium, and ordered the 7.5 B (medium) - In these I would need an 8 wide.

What a disappointment! I have owned many pairs of Clarks over the years, and these seem like a VERY CHEAP KNOCKOFF of the way they used to be made - and should still be made, at the prices charged! They are super lightweight, and not in a good way. This is clearly because the manufacturer used a cheap, plastic-like material for the heel/soles. You know how restaurants sometimes have fake sample versions of some of their dishes in a display case? They sort of look like the real thing, but you wouldn't want to eat them! That is what these sandals are like - they look good but as soon as you pick them up, you realize they are a grossly fake sample of the real thing.

Terrible! I've been buying this style for 10 years or more and Clarks has obviously changed it. The footbed material is different and the wide width is not as wide. Sending back

Very frustrated. These shoes were very narrow, easily a size, or 1 1/2 smaller. On top of it the left shoe was even smaller than the right one, so much I thought they were not the same size. They are going back.

Beware these shoes are a half size smaller than expected! They are even marked as 6.5 UK vs 7 UK which is what a US 9 is usually. Will be reordering 1/2 size up.

I wanted to love these but they were so uncomforable! The upper part felt sharp on the tops of my feet and the footbed was sharp against my arch. They didn't feel padded, they were hard. I ordered 2 colors and both had the same feel. They're going back.

Sandals were too large, almost as if someone with really wide feet tried them.

I was hopeful that this Clark's "double wide ee" size would do the trick for my wide feet. But, nope. Clark's wide widths for the past few seasons don't seem at all to actually have a wide FOOTBED. Instead, looks like they have just added extra material to the shoe's strapping and uppers to accommodate foot volume - but the actual footbed is the same width as a medium width. What's with that? These are going back; probably won't order any more Clarks. Tired of being disappointed.

I wanted to love this sandal. I had a similar sandal from Clark's a few years ago. It looks like the same shoe, only the leather was different. I have very narrow feet, and these were way too big.

I have 2 pair of these sandals bought last summer. The new ones I ordered were supposed to be the same size. They are NOT. They are very wide. I agree with another customer who felt the same way. Interesting that last year, the box had European size 39. This year it says 39 and 1/2. Clarks is not what the used to be!
