Although the sandals were cute and fit well, after pulling the toggle to fit, I could not decide where to put all the extra cord. I also did not think it was as padded and supportive as others stated. But I might have kept these had all that extra cording had somewhere to go. I have a medium width foot but perhaps overall slim feet that need a snug fit, thus all the cord! Anyway, I have had great Ecco shoes in the past, so I will try them again (without toggles - LOL!)

Wonderful sandal and ridiculous color! Look, this is clearly an "old lady" sandal it is ugly but tolerably ugly but gold? Seriously? GOLD? I fell like I'm in a mid-western retirement home production of Xanadu! I am grateful to have a comfortable sandal for my difficult feet. I'm 55 and don't mind ugly shoes and they proclaim to the world. Yes, I danced too long on ragged beaches and splintered honky tonk floors, climbed too many mountains, ran too many delirious sprints at dawn. I would not trade my damaged feet, but I don't really want to sparkle in garish gilt either. Give us a plain color! Details - I usually need an orthodic, and my feet blister at any touch. This sandal is good for about 1-2 miles without pain. That is actually great for me! But I cringe every time I slip it on with the ridiculous cheap looking gold!

Funny thing about this sandal...a close friend was visiting when an order for this sandal in my normal size 38 (size 7-7.5) arrived. She has a narrow size 8 foot and the length and width were perfect for her and I reordered a size 37 (6-6.5) since the pair I had ordered fit her perfectly. My new pair came very quickly and I found that the length was perfect but the toe box was a bit too narrow for my little toe and despite the toggle adjustment, could not make it work. There is only moderate arch support but the sandal is well-made, more attractive than in the photos, and lightweight. Too bad it just didn't work for my fussy feet. Thanks for the old try, Zappos! Can't say enough about the service!

I am returning these because the toggle/pull cord system for tightening is a problem for me. There is nowhere to tuck the tab at the end of the cord that feels comfortable AND looks ok.

Cute enough, for old lady shoes. And they almost worked for me. But one of my bunions is so big that I had to loosen the gillie too much -- the strings ended up making marks on the top of my foot. Didn't dare wear them on the street to find out how they would have felt walking outdoors.

These are very comfortable and cute, but I had to order one size smaller. The cord is way too long after I adjusted it to fit my foot. I do not have narrow feet either. When I tuck it in like the pictures show it hangs past my toes! I will have to return the smaller size, too. I do not think that I should have to pay a shoemaker to shorten the cord and sew the little tab of leather back on. I am very disappointed!

These are fun comfortable sandals if you get the right fit. The red color is awesome. If it had fit I would have also ordered the blue. It is light, easy on-off. It runs wide.

I hate the look of these but the arch support was wonderful! I bought a pair in prep for a trip to Europe. I wore them for 2 hours around the house and my feet were super supported! Sadly, the top elastic cord starting digging into the top of both of my feet and was annoying even when loosened up. I put them on a week later and immediately it felt tender there. This is not going to be the ones. Going back. And they tend to run 1/2 size small.

I wear a 5 1/2. Ordered the 36. There was 1" shoe sticking out in front. They're very flat with no arch support. But very cute! Returned then.

I love this sandal. It is so comfortable and so adaptable; can be worn for very casual or with a skirt. I love the color; a cross between gold and silver, but subtle, not too bright and shiny. I hope Ecco will offer it in other colors and black.
