I am a frequent business traveler, flying to and from major East Coast cities. On my last flight back from Atlanta, my trusty, old "business guy black carry on" finally bit the dust. Duct taped handle, zippers closed with safety pins don't really scream successful-and-savvy- business-woman anyway. So it was time for something new. After doing a great deal of research on the web, I decided to give Briggs and Riley a try. They have an amazing online fanbase! Next I researched the various carry on designs that they offer and decided to give the Transcend Wide Body Spinner a go. It arrived on my porch today. What a well made piece of luggage! I immediately did a pretend pack for my next trip and my two days of clothing, including workout attire, two pairs of shoes, business casual clothing, laptop, leather folio, phone charger...it all fit in there with room to spare. I may have to rethink my pack list, because maybe I do have room for a third change of clothes and another pair of shoes. The zippers and other closures feel solid and sturdy. The spinner base spins like a troupe of well seasoned ballerinas. The handle, which attaches on the outside of the bag, feels strong and stable. And there is a small pouch attached between where the handles connect that I think will be a perfect place to store my laptop charger brick and cord. I got the rainforest green, just to not have another black bag. It is a very dark green, actually more of a brown green. But it's not another boring black business bag, so I'm happy. This is a pricey piece of luggage and I would not recommend it to someone who only flies for vacations, because it is really too small for that. But for the business traveler who goes on 1-3 day trips, this bag should fit the bill nicely.

After two trips, I can confirm that this little guy holds more than any of the traditional carry-ons I've used before. One reason is that the bars for the extended handle are mounted on the outside of the case, leaving more efficient packing room inside. (In between the handles there's space to tuck in chargers or travel umbrellas.) Together with a tote bag, I have enough room for a three- to five-day trip. The wheels make it easy to push the bag alongside vs. dragging it behind you. Because it's shorter, the bag takes up less space in overhead bins (no need to put it in sideways in most). I've had other bags from Briggs & Riley and have been very impressed with their quality and clever features.

My job requires a lot of travel, so I need a bag that can withstand the rigors of regional and large body jets, and the various moods of baggage handlers. When my B&R bag arrived, I was worried that it was too small. So I did a "practice pack" with a week's worth of clothes/shoes/toiletries with my packing cubes and compression bags. I was shocked that I easily fit my slacks, shoes, blouses, robe and toiletries in the bag, and I had room for another pair of shoes! The B&R bag rolls like a breeze through airports, and its color is easy to spot at baggage claim. Add in the lifetime warranty, and this bag is a winner. Don't let the price scare you off. It's a terrific bag.

This is a great small carry-on bag. It holds about 2 full packing cubes and 2 quarter cubes. The zipper compartment on the very front is not very useful; it could hold paperwork or magazines. The main front compartment is fairly shallow, good to stash a very light-weight jacket. The I love my Briggs and Riley luggage, so it was an easy decision to stick with the brand.

Best suitcase ever. Paired this with the Briggs & Riley Transcend Rolling Cabin Bag and fit everything I needed for a five-night stay in Europe. With these two as my only luggage, I didn't need to check a bag. The spinner wheels make it easy to roll down the airplane aisle without bumping anyone's seat. Fits perfectly into the overhead compartment unless you pack something too bulky in the outside pocket.

Absolutely beautiful and well made! I travel for business frequently and can get 4 days out of this baby! Including a bunch of shoes. Love it! I thought long and hard before I dropped the buck for this but am very happy with the purchase, especially with the lifetime warranty. The sunset color is lovely...not screaming red but definitely distinctive.

I love this brand of luggage. However, the four wheels do not roll well over uneven floor or cement. In addition the suitcase is not stable when you put something on it.

I purchased the two wheel version of the Transcend carry on wide body bag and loved it. I purchased this bag because of the 4-wheel spinner capability gives me better maneuverability. This bag is nice but I miss having the suiter section. Also, this bag cannot expand.

Well made bag, but unfortunately, I had to return it. The bag dimensions don't include the wheels. If you are planning to purchase the bag for us on international carriers with very strict carry-on requirements (EasyJet/Ryanair), this bag is too large. It measures 22" tall with the wheels.
