I tried to like them, because they were so cute. But even after using them for 2 months, trying to break them in, they stayed super uncomfortable. My toes felt squished all the time, and they were pretty heavy. I accidentally wore them for an outing once, and I was in such pain by the time I came home. I had to get rid of the shoes.

I love how this shoe looks and they are super cute with almost any outfit (long jeans, capris, shorts, dresses, too). Upon initial try on the shoes are really comfortable but there is a stiff seam where your little toe will touch in the shoe. Without socks, the seam is pretty painful while walking around. Some of the super short footie socks will still let you keep the cute look of this shoe but eases the seam rubbing on your toes so much. Breaking them in is key! I will absolutely but a pair in red as soon as they have them in my size!

I gave this a higher score overall because, from the other reviews, I am sure it is just my goofy feet. I have a super narrow tendon in the back and new shoes will always be too large there. I purchased these and tried to wear them around the house for an hour each day (I work out of my home) so I would be able to break them in before going out in public. They rubbed blisters on my achille's tendon EVERY TIME and I would have to wait 2 weeks for the blister to heal before I could use them again. Now, my foot is sore in that same spot after 6 attempts at wearing them and they haven't broken in yet. There is no arch support but it isn't meant for wearing hiking in the bush. Just a simple, fun shoe. They look super cute on and I wish they worked for me. I ended up keeping them since I had worn them so many times. They will sit on my shelf and then in 3 years when I have a shoe purge, someone will be lucky to own them from Goodwill. :( I will try again in the winter with socks and see if I can wear them down. They really are a super cute shoe on!

These shoes are great. I wear a size 11 and Converse usually make my feet look even bigger than they are. Not these! They actually look cute. They slip on and are comfy. I would buy another pair in a different color.

Great! Love the look, perfect for the summer time. Run a 1/2 size big. I'm usually 8.5 I purchased a size 8 and they fit great.

Exactly what I was looking for! I love the newer style. Elastic back and not as long in the shoestring area -- so cute and comfy.

Super cute Chucks! Love the classic colors and design. Not crazy about the scrunchy heel. It doesn't feel secure or comfortable like a traditional heel cup, but the cute factor prevails! I will wear and love these year round! I also always know to order a half size smaller than what I normally wear, which is 9.5. So I ordered a 9 and they're perfect!

You either love Chucks or hate them. I've owned a couple pairs and had issues with all of them. These are not without exception. I wore these without socks and they rubbed a bit on my heel. Not enough to cause a blister but just enough to be annoying. They were easy to put on with the slightly elastic collar. I do love they way they look with jeans or shorts. I think after a few more wears the rubbing should subside. So my rating is mixed reviews.

These are one of my goto favorite shoes. Ive had them before and lost the in a muddy flood and had to order them again! I originally accidentally ordered the wrong pair (they were made from a different material). As soon as I got them I contacted Zappos for the exchange and they were so helpful! I got the pair I really wanted the next day!

Love these shoes! Cute with shorts or anything. True to size. As usual, no real arch support but you already know that if you've ever worn this type of shoe. Love the bright white, the elastic slip on back and the short shoe strings tied off on the side!

These are super comfortable and go with everything! I wear a size 10 and am always self conscious of how sneakers look on my big feet! These actually make them look smaller! WooHoo!

Really cute, runs slightly narrow but am hoping with some wear they'll stretch some. As in all chuck taylor's, in my opinion, not a comfort/walking shoe, just a casual shoe!

Love these! They look cute when I wear jeggings, workout pants, dresses etc. I highly recommend these I wear a 8.5 and got an 8.5 they fit fine, I did get blister on pinky toe, but just stretching these out. I wore the ballet flat socks with these because regular ankle socks didn't look well!

Love the style of the shoes unfortunately after wearing them for less than two weeks I noticed the inside fabric against one of the heals was torn and the elastic band is showing through. I am very disappointed in the fact the shoes did not even last two weeks.

Comfortable, easy on and off. True to size. I use them for my "inside" shoes when we are in Arizona.

I wear a size 9, regular width, in Asics running shoes, so I bought 9 in these, too. They fit perfectly! I used to wear Converse One-Stars as a teenager (I am 33), and I decided to look at the current styles. I have big feet (Size 9), and I have never liked the way the All-Stars look - they make your big feet look bigger... like clown shoes! Enter these shoes. There are four lace holes - not six. They look and feel awesome. I want them in every color. I currently just have the dark grey. The sole is heavy, as Converse is known for, but the canvas material is light and airy. I wore them my first time without socks out and about for five hours or so. I felt comfortable the whole time and I think that they would hold up during an all-day summer excursion, like to an amusement park. They are true to size and do not feel like they will fall off, like some slip-ons do.

I love that you can just slip on and go. Great for summer, socks or no socks it all works. Put in washing machine and cleans up great. Width is snug at first but they will stretch. This will be my 3rd pair, they have been hard to find in the colors and size I need so grab them when you find your size and color.

I love these shoes. I will definitely be buying them in more colors! I ordered the size 7 since I am a size 5 in normal Converse and when I first put them on they felt a bit clunky and I thought they might be too big. I wore them around the house and decided against returning for a 6½, but I was tempted based on the other reviews saying they had to go down in size. I have worn them three full days since my purchase and they are still making my feet a bit sore (particularly my right pinky toe and the top of my foot near the tongue), but I experienced the same thing with my original pair of Converse before they were broken in so I am expecting that to fade soon.

I agree with the most critical review that "the heels slip right off when walking and the shoelaces cannot be used to make the shoes fit better because they are too short to even tie." I walked around with these slip-ons all day in Washington, DC for the Fireworks. They are not very comfortable. The regular Chucks felt comfortable than these slip-ons. For slip-ons, I recommend Vans instead.

Gift for my sister and she loved them! She said they are extremely comfortable and color is true to the picture.

Love them!! It's hard for me to find comfortable, casual shoes. Great for extended walking and still look good. Perfect with jeans or shorts. Looking forward to buying another pair soon!

I loved the style, but I I got blisters on both my pinky toes after wearing them for an hour. It's a shame, because the are so cute!

Just what you'd expect from converse. They do rub on the back of the heel so I don't wear them on consecutive days.

I loved the way these looked but they were so narrow that they were uncomfortable...especially when I put socks on. Had to return them.
