Fantastic. This is my new minimalist winter 'boot.' I've put snow seal on it and I find it to be the perfect shoe for just about everything from a hike in wet grass to wearing to a presentation.

The shoes are narrow for Vivobarefoot shoes. I have Neo's, Neo Trails, and Ra's all in 43/US 10, which all fit very well. I had to size up for these, and they are still on the narrow side. I should note that I have very wide feet. I don't feel that they slip around though, even with the extra length, due to the laces working well. I have nothing but good words for Zappos, who shipped me three pairs and completely refunded me, even tax and shipping.

Great pair of shoes. Feel as great as they look. Very comfortable. I'm a size 12 (US) but got an 11.5 (US) and they fit really well.

I just received my pair of Gobis in dark brown this afternoon so I cannot attest to their long-term durability, but thus far I am not thoroughly impressed. Literally the first time ever putting them on I was so anxious that I had not loosened the laces enough and as I attempted to pull on the back of the right shoe the seam of the loop completely ripped. Now this does not affect the shoe apart from a cosmetic flaw, and I imagine I can sew it back on with a few minutes of work, but I paid a lot, and I would like for the loop to be sewed on little better for that much of an investment. Know that if you buy these shoes that the only thing worth the overpriced cost is Vivobarefoot's patented soles. They are not completely clown-shoe like, but they are noticeably wider than normal Chukka shoes and do not expect anyone to be stopping you to remark on your fashion statement with these. I do not regret purchasing these because I have not found another company who makes barefoot shoes that you can wear with khakis and a button-up. Overall I think there is definitely room for improvement, but if you want shoes that will not be very noticeable that have a zero-drop and an awesome sole pick these up!

These are the single best shoes I have ever owned. Before these, the first thing I did when I got home was get out of my shoes, fast, even ones that I thought were comfortable. I went to go to bed last night and realized I was still wearing them. Vivo Barefoot Indeed!

Very comfortable! I've been wearing these shoes off and on for the past 3 weeks and I'm very happy with them. There is ample room in the toe box and very comfortable under foot. There is no arch support so definitely not for those wanting some of that. I opted to keep the insert in which is providing some additional cushion I typically remove. The shoe is very flexible. I wear these around the office.

These are the most comfortable "style" shoes (i.e. non-sneakers/boots) I have ever worn. Very versatile in that I can wear them with a business casual outfit to work but also to the bars. My only warning is that they are not very warm, so double-sock yourself in the winter.

As mentioned before, it's a pretty normal looking shoe for a zero drop sole. The stitching and overall design is minimal, vaguely reminiscent of Clarks desert boot (part of the reason I got these). The toe box is generous and slightly flared, which is what I think gives these shoes away as "not so normal". There was no break-in period for me, they were comfy as slippers from day 1. For easier on/off, I loosen the laces as much as possible (I'm sure this "advice" applies to all boots). I Sno-Sealed mine for winter wear; the coloration doesn't hold up well to Sno-Seal, but Sno-Seal does keep the water out once applied.

Finally, a stylish barefoot shoe! I bought these for my husband who refused to wear anything else but his Vivobarefoot running shoes, even to work. In addition to looking great, these shoes are also good for the winter because they're water-tight. The tongue attaches high up on the boot, which is good to keep the snow out. (We might have also sprayed them, I don't remember.) Beware of the wide toe-box, it does give a bit of a 'duck-effect'. It fits great in the heal though. We found the shoe to run a bit big and had to go a size down. But, that seems to be normal if one uses barefoot shoes a great deal.

I've used and abused the Gobis for a year now. I work a highly physical job with eight straight hours of walking, bending, lifting, crouching, kneeling, with some periods of standing thrown in for good measure. Vivobarefoot shoes are the only shoes I have worn to work that don't leave my feet in throbbing pain at the end of the day. My lower back hurts less, too. I've noticed that I walk a little differently, landing more lightly on the heel since there's no such thing as cushioning in a barefoot shoe. I think my feet being able to move like they were meant to move is what's saving my back and feet. I do get compliments on the look of the shoe, but only when I've wiped them down. The black version does tend to show the dust. But they look really nice when you wipe them with a wet paper towel and then rub a little olive oil on them. As I said, I've worn them for a year (practically every single day, and usually in a demanding environment) so the stitching has come undone at the toe on one shoe and at the outer ball of the foot on the other shoe. I crammed some Gorilla Glue in there and voila, fixed. Now, the one drawback I see is, they are now the only shoes I can comfortably wear. I have to assume that the bones in my feet, having been allowed their natural spread, no longer enjoy being crammed into restrictive, rigid shoes. Which just means I have to buy some more barefoot shoes. Gee, darn.

Great comfortable shoe, like the name says, you barely realize you have shoes on. I walk a lot, my feet feel great at the end of a day.

After realizing that the comfort of barefoot shoes could not be sacrificed, I sought out a pair of good looking shoes for work and landed on these. Constant compliments on the looks cannot be ignored. They work great when waterproofed even in the snow with a pair of warm socks. This is my favorite pair of shoes that I have ever owned. They are a high quality product with the stitched sole and materials used. They are highly recommended for everyday use.

Nicely made boots. Same great wide, flat, true minimalist sole shape as Vivobarefoot One trainer, EXCEPT the Gobi runs slightly bigger than the One. A Gobi in size 41 felt closer to a One in size 42 than a One in size 41.

I've never written a shoe review but I like the Gobi so much I decided to write this one. These shoes are the best! I also own the Ra, the one, and the aqua lite from Vivobarefoot and these are my favorite. The suede is soft, so they feel great even without socks. I never want to take them off. These are the most comfortable and stylish "barefoot" shoes on the market (in my opinion). They are so great that I'm tempted to buy a few more pairs just in case they stop making this style! If only they were cheaper.

These are great shoes from a reat company. I tried four pairs of shoes before I found these. The shoes are great it is like not wearing shoes at all. The company sent all of the shoes very quickly and there was no charge for shipping either way. I do not know any other company that gives that great service. I am very impressed.

These are most comfortable shoes I ever had. When I wear them I feel like nothing is on my foot. And after day long my foot are not tired at all. Plus they are very stylish and durable.

Serious comfort. I was unprepared for how awesome they would feel. Like wearing a comfy pair of slippers.

I really wanted to love the Gobi. It's so comfortable. But, you need to get over the fact that they look like suede Ronald McDonald shoes. Seriously. They are cut really wide, which I understand is the intention, but with the rounded shape and the really wide width and also the shape of gum sole...you need to really not give a crap how goofy you look to wear these. Vivobarefoot...I like what you are doing here and I think with a couple of tweaks to the cut and shape, these could look much better/more fashionable/less "Ronald." Same for the Ra (low top Ronald McDonald shoes).

The front of the shoe is wider than it needs to be, giving the slight impression of a clown shoe. It's not terrible, but it is definitely enough to bother me enough to return the shoes. I'm bummed because other than this the shoes seem great.

Not comfortable at all. I used it for one day then returned it. If you stand or walk a lot, don't buy it.
