There is a large seam right above the big toe that rubs my toe each time that I take a step. That is very uncomfortable! These shoes are going back.

I use the Vibram FiveFingers Entrada sandals that has a flexible sole and webby material, making it very comfortable to wear. However, it is not office appropriate. Vivobarefoot Jing Jing has a very firm sole and cheap, plastic-looking body, so it's not comfortable to wear: shoe's edges chafe at the heel. The firm sole (no flex other than the curve that's built into the sole) makes walking barefoot on the floor more comfortable than using this shoe. On one foot, I felt a firm ridge along the bottom of the bit-toe side of the foot, like a manufacturing defect along that side of the shoe. It also bothers the bunion I have on one foot (unlike the Vibrams). I am not new to minimalist shoes: I run using the Vibram FiveFingers BiklaLS shoes. I do not recommend Vivobarefoot Jing Jing.
