I purchased these socks for my 7-year-old, who wears shoe size 1.5 - 2 youth; size SM fits well with room for growth. These are thinner than her other athletic socks (but not at all flimsy) and, with the flat-knit toe seam, are very comfortable to wear with closer-fitting canvas sneakers like Keds.

I opened up the pack to see if they would fit my feet since it was ambiguous by sight alone (so I can't return them) and they're too large- the heel doesn't sit right on my foot. I bought a Medium 13 - 4 Big Kid, and I wear a children/youth size 2 to 3 shoe and a women's size 4 to 5 shoe. These socks are definitely designed for the highest size rather than encompassing the range. Since I opened them, I will keep them, but my search continues for socks that fit my non-one size fits all feet.

Please take the take to tell customers the description of your product clearly. If it's for girls or boys. I am very disappointed to find out the socks I bought for my son, were in fact for girls. Some of us do not mix girls with boys. Thanks for understanding.
