The fit is true to size. I wear 6.5. They're very light and comfortable. I bought them for backpacking in glacier and using them for river crossings. Going in 2 weeks. I don't have a problem with the strap across the top but I understand why some would. They are cute enough to wear around and to work also.

Keen makes my favorite shoes and this is just another example. They're super comfortable and cute. Perfect shoes for traveling or just day to day wear.

Hi. I received these shoes day after I ordered them! I wore them a couple of days after receiving them and they feel like I have had them for years! They are very comfortable! I really like these shoes! They look good and feel good! I would recommend this pair of shoes to anyone! Thank you Zappos!

These shoes do run narrow and I wish they had a little more arch support. But they fit me well and since I have hammer toes with silicon tubes on them, they hide my defects. I'm glad I found them so I have 1 pair of sandals to wear this summer.

Like so many others, I really wanted this shoe to work for me but found the ankle strap too tight for comfort. Why did Keen make this strap so tight when there is another strap to adjust the fit here? Makes no sense. Otherwise, I really, really like the shoe and it fit true to size for me. One note: the loden color is a lot brighter than it appears in the photo, and not as olive looking. It's a great color - just not as neutral as it appears.

Sorry to have to return these. The ankle strap has a nylon strip that is not adjustable and is too tight for my foot. This seems like a design flaw as the upper velcro strap is not really doing anything and cannot be looser than the nylon strap just below it.Too bad since they otherwise look great.

I have never had a pair of sandals this comfortable. I have a big toe joint that causes me so many problems when I order shoes. These sandals are perfect!! I got them in the Loden but the green is so much prettier then in the picture. LOVE THEM.

I have two pair of these shoes because they are wonderfully comfortable. So glad Zappos had them in different colors. I had to return one for a replacement from leather to cloth and Sander in customer service was wonderful and very helpful. Thanks for that.

I needed a walking summer sandal, mostly for city streets but also for the beach. I have a narrow heel and wide toes—the Keen Rose Sandal fit perfectly! I ordered the beet red first, liked them so much also rded the Indian Teal so that I can rotate and wear each pair every other day or even switch in the middle of a very hot day. Wore these sometimes mornng till night. Strolled cities, toured museums and walked on sandy beach. They stayed comfortable and offered lots of stability: I think the closed-toed style adds to that comfort.

I wear an 8.5 B but always order Keens a half size larger, size 9 for me, and the length is perfect. Same with this sandal. Lovely light-as-air fit, that feel feels great. But, whoa, the color. My screen shows a rich deep tomato red, but Beet Red in person means a medium violet [blueish red] color that does not blend well with Autumn tones. As for style, the black bumper is somewhat awkward looking but overall they are Keens.

Love these shoes...comfortable from the first minute I put them on. No break in period needed! Thinking about getting them in a different color now too.

If you want a comfortable sandal, this is it. Wider than expected in toe area but very comfortable because of the ankle strap. I still have to wear my orthotic to get enough arch support.

Very comfortable outdoor shoe and the faded navy color is really pretty. The footbed is a dream to walk on, nice and cushy and supportive. The covered toe design is my favorite since I always seem to bang my toes and the elastic band that covers the toes is comfortable. I live in Florida and this type of shoe is perfect walking here year round. The ankle straps don't detach fully but fit me perfectly. I always wear a 10 in Keen's and these fit me to a t. The ankle/arch support is not as great as other Keen shoes I own but the raised footbed gives plenty of support.

Well-made & comfortable sandals with very good support for long walks in summer. Gives my feet a lot more support than open toed sandals which is exactly what I was looking for.

Ordered these shoes for a trip...was exactly what I was looking for, but the right shoe was sewn crooked, straps across the front were visibly "wrinkled" /sewn crooked, and toe box on right shoe was much lower than the left shoe. No time left to order a replacement pair. Otherwise a very comfortable shoe. I was so sorry I had to return these! Also wish makers of these shoes offered more in wide width shoes.

Surprised by the vivid color. I'm a burgundy fan and this Rose color is very nice even for the summer going into fall. I have a pair of Keens from 8 years ago that I still wear and they still look brand new. I'm not sure if they are as durable but love they style and color. Could wear with a semi-formal dress or jean skirt.

I really wanted to love these but the other reviewer is correct: There is really no arch support at all. Had to return.

Sandals fit perfectly--a narrower style for Keen. But the front of the right sandal rubs my toes to blisters when I walk. Must return, alas. May reorder and hope for a better pair, as they are great otherwise.

I love the way they look. But I have two problems with them. First, the material that the bottom is made of feels very hot against my foot. Also, one of my little toes hits the top in such a way that it keeps poking through one of the holes in top, which is uncomfortable.

I just received my new Keens Rose Sandal wore them right out of the box. Went for a hike no problems, so comfortable. I'm a Keen lover this shoe is top quality. Got the Parachute/neutral grey color. Love the color. Want to get more in other colors.

They were comfortable right out of the box. They have good arch support and I can't wait to wear them on long walks.

Bought these for a Rafting trip in the Grand Canyon. I wanted something very comfy and practical. Based on previous reviews, I decided on these. Love them! I wore them for a whole week prior to our trip to get used to them. I receive compliments on them so much. The toe kick is a must for hiking. These went from being my vacation shoes to my everyday shoes. Some reviewers said something about the front strap bothering them. I've had no problems. I did velcro it too tight one day and I could tell it just didn't fit well. As soon as I loosened it, perfect again. I wear a 7 1/2 shoe and purchased a 7 1/2. Fits wonderfully. True to size. I hate having to return shoes. One thing I really like is the width at the toe bed. My foot does not feel crowded. It's roomy and comfy. The foot bed has some texture, but it doesn't bother me at all. I was worried it might since I'd read other reviews mention it. They feel fine and I would buy another pair in a heartbeat. I did purchase another style shoe as well, just in case this didn't fit. That one fit my mom and she says it's like walking on clouds. It the Keen Zephyr in a size 7. It fit me slightly small. Those are really cute too! I should have ordered an 8 instead and kept both! Now let's not be greedy. Couldn't be happier with my Keen Rose Sandal.

Wonderful walking sandal. No problems with sore feet hurting after walking for long periods in urban settings! Biggest problem however is the VELCRO fastener. It does NOT hold up at all. The velcro loosens and falls off the strap. Have had to have them both repaired often.

I was skeptical when I bought these shoes based on the reviews. I wore them all over Europe and they were my 'go to' shoes. However, I agree that the strap across the foot needed to be adjustable. By the end of the day, swollen feet can cause the strap to become a little uncomfortable. What I like about these shoes (in non-leather black) is that they are versatile enough to wear with cargo pants, shorts, crops, skirts and perhaps the right type of dress (well maybe). I have foot issues so I often need to take multiple pairs of shoes when I travel and these have allowed me to cut down on the number of pairs. I like these shoes so much that I am buying a second pair in another color before someone decides to discontinue this style.

I love these shoes! I was looking for a good walking shoe that I could take to Israel. This shoe was so comfortable on all terrains. It covers the toe for rocky areas and also breaths like a sandal. We walked about 4 miles a day and this shoe was the best.
