Unfortunately, these are going back. I liked the color and I appreciated the closed toe and I even thought of a work-around for the ankle strap restriction that plagued several other reviewers, but I couldn't manufacture any true arch support to make this shoe work for me. Keen's have long been known for excellent arch support, which is why I chose this shoe, but like another reviewer said, that's a thing of the past, presumably. I'll keep looking for a closed sandal that works for me.

The style was fine - I was looking for sandals that can get wet - but the fit was disappointing. I usually really like this brand, but this style has less arch support than I am used to from other Keen styles. Also part of the ankle strap rubs against the arch, so they had to go back.

Shoe is cute, but did not fit. Foot bed is a little scratchy.

Pretty, but costly for a shoe with no arch support. Sent them back.

very cute shoe but rubbed my heel just trying them on. too bad because I did like the support they seemed to offer. have to go back.

I love The "old" KEEN Rose Sandle better. The straps were adjustable!!!! This made a LOT of difference. These new ones are not adjustable - although they have a sort of "lame" adjustable strap over the top of the ankle - underneath this strap is a tight opening that doesn't adjust. And they don't adjust around the back of the foot either. Can't figure out WHY KEEN had to change a GREAT thing that was working fine. I haven't decided whether to return these, or cut the fixed strap that is underneath the adjustable strap - and just use the adjustable strap! So disappointed!!!!

The style is nice, but did not work with my bunion. I have several pairs of Keens and will return these and try a different style. I have three pairs of Whispers in size 8 and have been completely satisfied, bunion and all!

I had another pair that fit great and had an adjustable strap. I actually have them on. I ordered a nine-foot small. Reordered a 91/2 and it seemed even smaller. The look is great but if they aren't comfy, I won't wear them. Sorry to say I think keens are going downhill. BRING YOU OLD ONES BACK, PLEASE.

Ordinarily wear an 8 especially a shoe with a wide toe box. The 8 was too tight everywhere. I have a bunion and the separation in the straps didn’t work at all. I reordered in an 8-1/2 and it fits perfect!

This is my second pair of the Keen Rose sandal. The first pair was purchased in 2014 and I loved them. I trekked through two European vacations with them and purchased another pair because it was time to replace. The new pair looks identical but feels 1/2 size smaller. I compared the fit yesterday and the new pair is slightly smaller. It’s just enough to make the left shoe uncomfortable. These sandals will not be with me when I visit Italy this summer :(.

Insufficient arch support. Took ½ size larger and fit was good. Strap over foot comfortable for me, perhaps because I have low arches. Wiggle room in toe box. When I put in a relatively thin orthotics for much needed arch support in these. the strap became too tight and the shoe too small. Returned them. Too bad. Good looking sandal and clever to protect toes.

Oh my gosh, these are SO CUTE. The problem is that the sandal's webbing does not cover any portion of the small toe on my left foot. So, my toe lies completely outside of the opening and catches on the opening's edge when I take a step. I do not have this problem with my right foot. I'm not sure if the problem is with my feet, the sandals, or both. They are so darn cute, I may (in a moment of weakness) consider purchasing them in a different color - with the hope that manufacturing tolerances might be different My foot size is between a 7 and 7.5 and a "B" or "M" width. My right foot is slightly longer than my left. I usually accommodate my right foot. I also ordered the Venice H2 and the Whisper (which I have also reviewed) and decided to purchase the Whisper (my first Keen purchase). Of the three styles, the Rose has the narrowest footbed and the least arch support, and the most refined appearance. There is an elastic band around your ankle which is fairly snug and and additional, adjustable ankle strap for further tightening. My left ankle has about an 8.25" circumference. I found that there wasn't a need for additional tightening. So, the additional ankle strap is just for show (in my case). I don't think of this style as a trekking sandal at all.

The toe box was too wide and the straps bunched up and did not lay flat on top of my foot. The straps over the front of the shoe looked flimsy and I question whether they will last even one season. The Keen Rose Sandal in the aluminum neutral gray color was attractive and will go with many outfits. This is a pretty shoe for casual wear, but if you have narrow feet (2A) like mine, do not buy this shoe.

I remember my older keens being a lot more comfortable. these don't have the same arch support i remember for Keens. the footbed is a plastic so a little sweaty. also the strap is on the tight side. don't think i 'll buy another of these any time soon.

Arch is not as structured as the original keens. If you need a high, rigid arch it will not work.

Narrow!! I have owned many pairs of Keens, all in a size 10. Therefore, I disregarded all the reviews that said to order up half a size and I ordered these in a 10. They were much too small! I ordered the 10.5, and they fit length wise, but are still too narrow to work for my feet, unfortunately. I'm disappointed, because I really like the shoe!

These did not flatter my feet! The design made my feet appear crooked and angled. Nice looking shoe, until I put them on. A more basic pattern of straps over the foot might work better. These had very little arch support and felt flimsy. Returning these.

The fit and size was fine, but the sandals were not comfortable as I would need more support.

Keen has changed the Rose sandal so that there is no way to adjust the back elastic closure. I could not even get my foot into the shoe, and it's my regular size! In fact, I have an old pair of these that is more flexible in the closure area. The strap is supposed to be adjustable, but there is no way to loosen it. You can loosen the top band, but then you just have extra of that band sticking up, and nothing about the size of the closure is changed. I would not recommend to anyone who doesn't have tiny ankles. Keen, please fix this!! I love the footbed of this shoe!

The strap is not adjustable as it appears in the photo. There is a second fixed strap under it. Although the shoes fit my normal size the box of the toe was not high enough for my toes. I returned the shoes.

I have owned Keen Rose sandals for many years. My old ones were looking a bit shabby, so I ordered my normal size (11) and threw my old ones out. Boy, that was a mistake! The new sandals don't fit at all like the old ones. They were so small. The toe box was cramped and the crisscross straps at the front were very tight. Surprisingly, the ankle straps were also ill-fitting and too small. I could barely get my foot into the sandal. They fit my sister, who wears a size 10, but even she commented that the straps and toe box were tight. Also, the material of the straps were stiff and a bit scratchy. Again, not like the old ones, that were softer and more flexible. I wish Keen would go back to their old design.

I have several pairs of Keens and they all make my problem feet feel great. So I had great hopes for this pretty Rose sandal. Sadly the ankle strap is much too tight for my thick ankle. The ankle strap is fixed/attached -- it only looks adjustable due to the velcro strap over the top of it. That is probably fine for those who need a more snug fit, but miserable on my foot. Sadly these will be returned, and the search continues.

Fit and Size fine. The only thing wrong is it is not able to be adjusted over the foot (instep) and too tight. A Big disappointment. Has to go back.
